President Trump announced he has reached an agreement with NATO over a Greenland deal. At the age of 45, seven time grand slam winner Venus Williams broke the Australian Open record as the oldest-ever women’s player in the tournament’s history. Williams first competed in the Australian Open when she was 17, three years before her opponent, 24-year-old Olga Danilovic was born.  Even though Williams ultimately lost the match, she walked off the court to a standing ovation with a big smile and wave, saying she was really proud of her effort because she’s playing better with each match. President Trump has just written (perhaps) his longest Truth Social post to date, detailing 8 countries he plans to impose tariffs on, if they don’t support the United States purchasing Greenland.  Among them, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway. This week, the parents of 27-year-old Elle Greenberg are hopeful, after fighting for nearly 15 years to have their daughter’s death ruled a homicide. Greenberg was found dead by her fiancé in January of 2011 with more than 20 stab wounds, some in the back of her neck, and a 10 inch knife in her chest.   2 weeks later, investigators ruled it a suicide, but now the medical examiner who performed Greenberg’s original autopsy is saying her death should NOT be designated as a suicide.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

It’s been 2 months and one day since the asphyxiated body of 18-year-old Anna Kepner was found under the bed of her cabin aboard a Carnival cruise ship during a family vacation. While Kepner’s death has been classified as a homicide, no arrests have been made and no official suspect has been named, by the FBI. However,  court documents in a separate custody case clearly state that Anna’s 16-year-old step brother is a suspect in her death. A short while ago in a Wisconsin courtroom, 18-year-old Nikita Casap pled guilty to the double homicide of his mother and stepfather, but this story gets even more macabre. The teenager lived with his parents’ corpses for weeks before stealing their vehicle, cash, jewelry and passports along with the family dog, all while talking to someone who spoke Russian about a plot to kill Donald Trump and overthrow the government.
