Ep 38RBTP47: Bad to the Bone with co-host Nick & Jim Everett!
RBTP47 is titled: "Bad to the Bone" because we are loving the original, one-of-a-kind "bone grey" uniform that was (FINALLY) released yesterday. The episode starts with us talking through the schedule and its quirks. But, the leading story here is the uniforms, so we allocated a significant amount of time to the new look. After a 4-year wait and an overwhelming amount of anticipation, Jared Goff accidentally spilled the beans and told Houston Astros third basemen Alex Bregman that the uniforms were being released "tomorrow" (in reference to May 13th) on a Fortnite twitch stream. Goff then scrambled and mumbled "sometime this week", but the news had already traveled through the social media airwaves and Rams fans throughout the world were excited beyond belief to get a glimpse of the new-look. We discuss Kevin Demoff, as he went on a few ESPN radio shows to discuss why this was such a drawn out process and involved so much detail, and we also discuss (former) Rambassador Eric Dickerson's reaction and Super Bowl MVP Kurt Warner's reaction to the rebrand as a whole. Additionally, we talk to THE NEW Rambassador, Jim Everett (crowned by us) to give us his initial gut feeling to the rebrand. Jim also ranks the 6 other teams' uniform updates, he discusses which 4 players he would put on the grand stage from the 1980's to present the new look, he tells us a story about Georgia Frontiere's idea to add lime green into the Rams color scheme, he discusses why Eric Dickerson once referred to him as a "corporate pimp", and takes us through the challenges of the schedule. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.

Ep 37RBTP46: Post Draft Feels with co-host Nick & Cam DaSilva of the Rams Wire!
RBTP46 is titled: "Post Draft Feels" because we're coming off of one of the most interesting drafts in recent history for the Rams. Not only was it unpredictable, but it was extremely entertaining considering the circumstances. And to be honest, we all needed some form of football back in our lives. Nonetheless, the Rams have consistently provided us with entertainment all offseason, and the draft was no exception. But before we dove into the draft, we discussed the updated salary cap after restructuring Goff and Havenstein, officially signing Robinson and Floyd, Orlando Pace's reaction to Tremayne Anchrum's number selection and Clay Matthews filing a grievance against the Rams. After those topics are discussed, we dive into the profiles of the inaugural 2020 draft class, and discuss why we believe a few of them could be immediately impactful in the upcoming season.Additionally, we welcome Cam DaSilva to the show (managing editor of the Rams Wire) for his second appearance, and allow him to dig even deeper into the new draft class. Cam discusses his opinion on draft grades from the national media, how he would grade the draft, what he may have done differently, who he believes will be most impactful vs. developmental, Louis Riddick's comment on how well Cam Newton would fit into Sean McVay's offense, and much more. A lot of the information that Cam discussed is also featured on www.theRamsWire.com. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.

Ep 36RBTP45: Stache-ing Draft Picks with co-host Nick & Sosa Kremenjas!
RBTP45 is titled: "Stache-ing Draft Picks" because of Jared Goff's recent Zoom call with reporters where he revealed a masterful quarantine mustache and Les Snead's remarkable ability to stockpile draft picks in later rounds. Over the past two weeks, a lot of news has been broken, starting with the Rams deciding to trade Brandin Cooks in exchange for the 57th pick in the draft (2nd round), Jay Glazer announces Brian Allen's COVID-19 diagnosis during his FS1 show, an inevitable Jared Goff contract restructure, the and new uniform reveals of the Browns, Buccaneer's, Falcons & Colts. Additionally, draft expert Sosa Kremenjas joins us to break down his big board, and all of the prospects that he thinks would be great fits for the Rams. Sosa has studied this draft class inside & out, so he's able to help us in predicting the most likely outcomes based on Les Snead's draft history and the Rams' biggest needs in 2020. Sosa also provides us with a full mock draft, based on his big board that is published on TurfShowTimes.com. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.

Ep 35RBTP44: It's Not Just a Logo with co-host's Nick & Rich!
RBTP44 is titled: "It's not just a logo", because there is so much more to the Rams and football than just their new logo & color scheme. That being said, we truly sympathize with all the Rams fans who are struggling with the new brand identity and outlook for the 2020 season at brand-new SoFi Stadium. In this episode, the Rams Brothers (and their dad) discuss the Michael Brockers physical situation and how it compares to Rodger Saffold's deal in 2014 with the Oakland Raiders, the highly anticipated Vic Fangio x Brandon Staley defense and how Staley will utilize new FA's/specific personnel, Losing Greg the Leg Zuerlein, how recent FA moves impact the cap, the logo drama, Demoff's variety of trolls and Eric Dickerson's interview on AM570. We saved the logo reveal for last, because Rams fans are completely up in arms in the middle of a pandemic regarding the reveal. We give our extremely honest feedback, and explain why there's so much more to re-brand than "just a logo". Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.

Ep 34RBTP43: Mourning the Loss of Todd Gurley with co-host's Nick & Rich!
RBTP43 is titled: "Mourning the loss of Todd Gurley" because we received breaking news that Todd Gurley (& Clay Matthews) were going to be cut while we were in the middle of recording this episode. The news broke 45 minutes into this episode, but prior to the breaking news, we discussed: the new CBA, the free agency frenzy, roster shake-up, managing the cap and the trade rumors that were led by Todd Gurley and Brandin Cooks. It's hard to imagine a team being 2 years removed from losing the Super Bowl releasing players who were key contributors to their appearance. But, the NFL is a business over anything else. And the Rams need to find a way to get back so that they can continue to prove to their fans that they're committed to winning. We'll also address our outlook to the 2020 season and quickly discuss the logo drama (before it was officially released). Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.

Ep 33RBTP42: (LA vs. AZ) Family, No Matter What with co-host Nick!
RBTP42 is titled: "Family, No Matter What" in honor of captain Andrew Whitworth's post-game speech to close out the 2019 NFL season for the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams were able to sweep the Arizona Cardinals for the third consecutive year, but it wasn't enough to sneak into the playoffs. The Rams were the only team out of 13 teams with winning records to miss out on a playoff bid, finishing the season with a winning record at 9-7. The Rams Brothers (and head coach Sean McVay) believe that although this season didn't quite live up to expectations, that missing the playoffs was a "blessing in disguise" heading into the 2020 offseason. With plenty to be concerned about, it's fair to wonder if the Rams will ever return to their 2018 form - with lingering salary cap questions, big-time contracts to restructure, and free agents to prioritize over the next few weeks. In this episode, the Rams Brothers play the role of "Twitter GM" (as some would say) and look very closely into next years' salary cap, suggest roster moves that could clear up a ton of cap for 2020 and recommend players to trade. Additionally, we discuss the future of the coaching staff, and why the Los Angeles Rams were reluctant to send assistants or coordinators to the podium following their victory in the final home game at the Coliseum. There is plenty of concern over bringing in additional help for Sean McVay (an offensive assistant or analyst that won't call plays but can help adjust schemes and tempo mid-game), retaining Wade Phillips and all of his glory and the implications of losing his experience on the staff, and moving on from Jeff Fisher's special teams brain-child, John "Bones" Fassel. It is all addressed in the final #RBTP episode of 2019. Enjoy! Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.

Ep 32RBTP41: (LA @ SF) Better Days Ahead with co-host Nick!
RBTP41 is titled: "Better Days Ahead", because the Los Angeles Rams were officially eliminated from playoff contention on Saturday night against the San Francisco 49ers (despite a Minnesota loss) - final score: 34-31. After a completely disheartening finish to the season, the Rams Brothers dissect the loss in San Francisco, specifically because the Rams put together one of their most complete games of the entire 2019 season. As this very season has taught us time and time again, untimely turnovers and inconsistent play on both sides of the ball will lose you games when you aren't the most productive offense in football. And as we all know, the Rams failed to replicate the same level of offensive success that took them to the Super Bowl last year. Aside from the loss in San Francisco, the Rams Brothers feature J.B. Long's list of 2019 accolades, dig deep into the salary cap: specifically Mike Silver's article (of NFL.com) that mentioned "multiple internal shake-ups to the coaching staff" & Todd Gurley as a "cap casualty", and Bryan DeArdo's article (of CBSSports) that suggests potentially trading Aaron Donald for a first-round pick. Additionally, they break down the Twitter war between keeping Cory Littleton or Dante Fowler, keeping/parting ways with Wade Phillips and suggest offseason acquisitions that could allow for the Los Angeles Rams to improve defensively against the run (while keeping Wade's experience on the staff). Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.

Ep 31RBTP40: (LA @ DAL) The Ride is Stalling with co-host Nick!
RBTP40 is titled: "The Ride is Stalling" because it metaphorically sums up how we’re feeling after the 44-21 blow-out loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Like we went to Disney World, found out that everyone’s favorite ride is experiencing technical difficulties and won't be available until next year. Prior to the loss in Dallas, the Los Angeles Rams were only a single game out of the 6th playoff seed and left us with plenty of optimism after the back-to-back divisional wins against Arizona and Seattle. But the Los Angeles Rams, led by Sean McVay, reverted back to the comfort of the 11-personnel grouping and felt no obligation to establish a run game early on. The Rams' inability to adjust scheme's mid-game proved to be detrimental, and the Cowboys proved to be the more desperate team. The Rams Brothers dive into what ultimately led to the Rams' demise: An unbalanced pass/run ratio (leaning heavily on 11-personnel), the defenses' inability to get to Prescott/stop the run, and letting Tavon Austin score a 59-yard touchdown. Sweet, sweet revenge. Additionally, we dig into the 2020 cap situation, we feature 2 new segments: "Hate the Game, not the Goff", and "Rams Complain Line" (voicemails from Michael Williams and Tucker Booth). Where do we go from here, you ask? Well, you're about to find out. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.

Ep 30RBTP39: (LA vs. SEA) Shooting Our Shot with co-host Nick!
RBTP39 is titled: "Shooting Our Shot" in honor of Andrew Whitworth and his confident post-game interview after the 28-12 win at home against the Seattle Seahawks. We’re beating a dead horse if we continue to say that this year has been an emotional rollercoaster, but the Sunday night victory against Seattle was a potential turning point to a disappointing and underwhelming regular season. The Los Angeles Rams now have a massive opportunity to turn the season around if they can win out. And as the great Taran Killam stated in his instagram post: THIS is drama, and this is why we love football. Following up from our last episode: RBTP39 is packed with continued optimism and playoff aspirations, as we dig into our upcoming opponents (DAL, SF & AZ) and the possibility of the Los Angeles Rams finding their way into the postseason. On top of potential playoff scenarios and percentages, we discuss "idiot" Sean McVay, Jared Goff's ability outside of the pocket, the evolution of the 12 personnel grouping, how the defense should prepare for Dallas, the final phases of the Todd Gurley plan, NICK'S PICKS OF THE WEEK, and plenty more. Enjoy! Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.

Ep 29RBTP38: (LA @ AZ) Total Redemption with co-host Nick & Steve Mason of ESPN LA!
RBTP38 is titled: "Total Redemption", because the Rams decided to walk into University of Phoenix Stadium and totally redeem themselves after an embarrassing loss at home last Monday night to the Ravens. This season has been a true rollercoaster for Rams fans, but this episode is jam-packed with optimism and playoff aspirations because of the pure dominance that the Rams displayed, and Minnesota losing to Seattle in Seattle (which puts the Rams 1 game back from the 6th playoff seed). Throughout this episode, the Rams Brothers dissect the 34-7 victory in Arizona, break down the positives/negatives from both sides of the ball and continue with the original segment "Nick's Picks of the Week". Additionally, Steve Mason of "Mason & Ireland" and ESPN LA joins us to discuss how his Thanksgiving weekend was spent, the current outlook on the Rams, good/bad contracts, the future of So-Fi Stadium, and comparing the dramatics of the Rams to a popular T.V. show. In the words of the great Jim Hill: KEEP THE FAITH! And in the words of the great Steve Mason: 7-5, we're still alive! Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.

Ep 28RBTP37: (LA vs. BAL) Losing Tells All with co-host Nick!
RBTP episode 37 is titled: "Losing Tells All", because we all just witnessed the worst home loss in franchise history to Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens. After coming off of a win against the Chicago Bears that seemingly corrected some mistakes, Rams fans were confident that Wade Phillips could put together a game plan that would prevent Lamar Jackson from scoring 6 TD's on 6 straight possessions. Nonetheless, an embarrassing home loss in the middle of a wildcard race poses a massive slate of questions, considering this team was built to be a Super Bowl contender this year. Starting with the Quarterback, the Rams Brothers dig into the deeper routed issues, from current cap situation, to good & bad contracts, a continuation on McVay needing additional support, and Les Snead's roster moving forward. The Los Angeles Rams were boo'ed at home last night, but we're extremely optimistic that there's pressure and urgency internally to remain a highly successful franchise moving forward. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.

Ep 27RBTP36: (LA vs. CHI) Old Gold with co-host Nick & Sosa Kremenjas!
RBTP episode 36 is titled: "Old Gold", in honor of Todd Gurley's post-game comments that he feels like "The Old Todd" again. Gurley, who has been nearly written off throughout the league continues to prove that he's healthy and willing to carry the team when called upon. The Rams beat the Bears 17-7 in the Coliseum in primetime to improve to 6-4 with a run-heavy approach that featured 133 total yards from Gurley & limited Goff to 18 total pass attempts. Based on the current state of both teams, desperation played a huge factor, and it was clear that the loser of this game would have to answer a ton of uncomfortable questions regarding the future of their franchise (specifically at the QB position). As the Rams continue to fight through a difficult back-half schedule, the Rams Brothers discuss the Rams' new-look offense, Trubisky's future/Ryan Pace's colossal mistake, the NFC playoff picture, full Ravens preview, and of course: Nick's Picks of the Week!Featured topics in interview with Sosa Kremenjas: McVay/Offensive adjustments, honest thoughts on Jared Goff, the 6-1 defensive front, containing "Lamarvelous", the Ravens defensive scheme, comparing the Rams to the Dallas Cowboys & more. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.

Ep 26RBTP35: (LA @ PIT) We're Kind of Used to It with co-host Nick!
RBTP episode 35 is titled: "We're Kind of Used to It" in honor of Todd Gurley's post game interview following the loss in Pittsburgh on Sunday. The Rams lost 17-12 (and move to 5-4 on the season) in a game that left far too many questions and little to no answers. In the first 20 seconds of this game, the Rams were up 7-0 after the Steelers gifted them a touchdown on a snap over Mason Rudolph’s head. But after that, points were very difficult to come by. Throughout this episode, the Rams Brothers discuss: the injuries to and future of offensive line, Todd Gurley's absence in the fourth quarter, Sean McVay's play-calling (and why he needs help), McVay's new "coaching tree", A brief Chicago Bears Preview, Nick's Picks of the Week & much more! Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.

Ep 25RBTP34: The Bye Week Special with co-host Nick & Brad Maher of Locked on Rams!
RBTP episode 34 is titled: "The Bye Week Special" because of the luxurious bye week that we were all able to participate in. Throughout this episode, the Rams Brothers and Locked on Rams Host: Brad Maher discuss the life of an athlete on a bye week; from Todd Gurley & his "Gurleywood" themed Halloween party, to Andrew Whitworth and his time spent golfing, podcasting with J.B. Long on "Rams Revealed", catching up with old friends and spending quality time with his family. From there, we discuss the NFC playoff picture, the legacy of Mike Tomlin, the match-up this weekend between the Rams & the Steelers in Pittsburgh, a potential NFL franchise "moving" to London (or STL), and of course: Nick's Picks of the Week! Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.

Ep 24RBTP33: (LA vs. CIN) 8-0 in Our Damn Mind! with co-host Nick & Chris McLoughlin of LA Rams UK!
RBTP episode 33 is titled: "8-0 in Our Damn Mind" because of Andrew Whitworth's post-game speech after receiving a game ball for playing and defeating all 32 NFL teams. Now that the identity is starting to re-form, the Rams head into a bye with a 5-3 record with 2 weeks to prepare for an underwhelming Pittsburgh Steelers team. Additionally, we discuss the win at Wembley Stadium, continuity on the offensive line, Cooper Kupp's dominance, Brandin Cooks' future, the trade deadline and the playoff picture. And how could we forget, Nick's Picks of the Week & our interview with Chris McLoughlin of the LA Rams UK Podcast! Chris discusses his weekend experience in London, meeting Kevin Demoff, Eric Dickerson & Torry Holt at Barrowboy & Banker, interacting with Rams fans from Germany, Spain, Bolivia, the Rams relationship with the UK, and Chris' outlook on the remainder of the season. Cheers! Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.

Ep 23RBTP32 (LA @ ATL) "We're Onto Cincinnati" with co-host Nick & Jake Ellenbogen of DTR!
RBTP episode 32 is titled: "We're onto Cincinnati" because the Rams handled Atlanta at home and are on the right path to rediscovering their identity in London against the Bengals. The Rams (now 4-3) are not only starting to rediscover their offensive identity, but they're starting to form a brand-new one on defense with the addition of Jalen Ramsey. If you're concerned about losing first-round picks (2020 & 2021) for Ramsey, just continue to watch him closely and take a look back at some of the early first-round picks under Snead's tenure. Additionally, we welcome David Edwards to the left side of the line, we feature a Marcus Peters tribute, Ramsey's interview with Deion Sanders, and we take a look at the current "playoff picture" in the NFC, and of course: NICK'S PICK'S OF THE WEEK! Nick was a perfect 6-0 last week and looks to continue his scorching hot streak. Let's see if the Rams can put together another complete game and advance to 5-3 in the toughest division in football. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.

Ep 22RBTP31: (LA vs. SF) Rams Therapy featuring Rich Hammond of the Athletic & Co-Host Nick!
RBTP episode 31 is titled "Rams Therapy" for very obvious reasons. The Rams Brothers are deflated after another tough loss at home to the San Francisco 49ers. They dig deep into the underlying issues and take a microscope to the offensive line with Rich Hammond of the Athletic. Additionally, the Rams Brothers weigh the national narratives; both positive and negative from the loss against SF, they feature the personalities of #RamsTwitter in the segment: "Rams Complaint Box", and of course: "Nick's Picks of the Week". The interview with Rich Hammond concludes with his gut feeling on how the Rams are going to end up this season. Let's remain optimistic, Ramily. There's a lot of football to be played!(To hear Rich Hammond's interview exclusively, fast-forward to 44:30) Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.

Ep 21RBTP30: (LA @ SEA) An Inch Away from 4-1 with Co-Host Nick!
The Rams Brothers are back after another tough loss in Seattle to the Seahawks, 30-29. The Rams are now in third place in the NFC West at 3-2 with an opportunity to snap San Francisco's undefeated record. The first half of the show is spent digging into what the Rams did exceptionally well on Thursday night, and where they might be seeing deficiencies. Additionally, the Rams Brothers discuss the trade rumors that are consuming Twitter, the Rams "new-ish" 12 personnel grouping, preview the 49ers, preview the upcoming schedule and jump back into "Nick's Picks of the Week". What is happening in San Francisco seems too good to be true. The Rams are hungrier than ever for a win. Let's see what happens on Sunday in the Coliseum. Thanks for listening, Ramily! Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.

Ep 20RBTP29: (LA vs. TB) Big Slice of Humble Pie with Co-Host Nick!
The Rams Brothers are back after a tough loss at home to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 55-40. The Rams are now 3-1, but weren't the "experts" expecting us to lose at least one of our first three games? That aside, Tampa Bay fully exposed our weaknesses on all phases, so the Rams Brothers decide to provide a full game recap & break down exactly what went wrong. Additionally, we introduce our new segment via Twitter, called "The Rams Complaint Box", jump back into "Nick's Picks of the Week", and preview Thursday nights game in Seattle. This loss was described by the Rams as a "wake-up call" & "big slice of humble pie". Let's see how they respond this Thursday night in Seattle. Thanks for listening, Ramily! Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.

From there, we discuss why our fanbase was divided on Sunday night, Goff's late mistake, the offense's sluggish first half, and what the real narrative should be when you're off to a 3-0 start. At the 35 minute mark, LA Rams legend is interviewed by Dene & his dad, Rich who has been a die-hard Rams fan for over 50 years. Dene, Rich & Jim discuss how difficult it is to play big games on the road, McVay's "conservative" play calling against a stacked box (6-1 or 6-2 defense), Kromer's Offensive Line & the personalities of Rams Twitter. Ep 16RBTP25: (Preseason) Champagne Problems with co-host Nick & Robert Forehand of Turf Show Times!
The Los Angeles Rams are taking an "innovative" approach to the preseason this year. Despite a few early preseason losses, Coach McVay is confident in their roster adds, their decision to rest starters, and the depth at specific positions. McVay describes the issues they're having as "Champagne problems", meaning that most position groups are healthy, have depth and require key decision making. The Rams Brothers dig into Coach's recent press conferences, his on-the-field camera time during the game in Hawaii, A (potentially) new LA Rams Jet, Aaron Donald's Magnum PI debut, Former Rams that crossed over to the big screen, and our positives/negatives from what we've seen thus far over 2 preseason games. In an interview with Robert Forehand of Turf Show Times (@SeattleRams), Dene & Rob discuss Rob's history as a Rams fan, the Rams' overall preparation of this year vs. last and Rob's love for players from Washington (specifically Cooper Kupp & Taylor Rapp). Ep 12RBTP21: Middle of May - The Mob Squad Evolves
The Rams Brothers are BACK in the middle of May, taking us through a full update from their last episode in late-March. Since, the Rams have drafted rare combinations of value & talent in Taylor Rupp, Greg Gaines, Darrell Henderson, David Long & some others that we'll discuss. We break down the current state of the NFC West & over/under predictions from NFL.com, and look into "Behind the Grind", featured on Facebook. Additionally, we dig into the History of Super Bowl losers and their potential to rebound the following season. The Cowboys lost in 71' but came back and won in 72'. The Dolphins did the same the next year in 73'. Since then, it hadn't happened - until, the Patriots held us to 3 points in Super Bowl 53. Is there a possibility that history could repeat itself, and the Rams could follow the Patriots to be the latest team to lose a Super Bowl, but redeem themselves the next year and WIN IT ALL? The Rams Brothers are convinced that it is a strong possibility. #RBTP21 Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company.
