Avoid These Podcast Episode Title Mistakes (I got called out by THE DAVE JACKSON)

When Dave Jackson, School of Podcasting, pointed out the difference between a dull and an engaging episode title, I was shocked to discover the power of those first few words in capturing an audience's attention. Little did I know that this revelation would lead to a dramatic increase in my podcast's reach and engagement - and a newfound mission to help others find the same success. The Importance of Episode Titles In the world of podcasting, the first impression is often made through your episode titles. These are essential for grabbing the attention of potential listeners and enticing them to click on your show. The right episode title can make all the difference between someone choosing to explore your podcast or scrolling past it in search of something more engaging. Therefore, it is necessary to put thought and effort into crafting attractive and effective titles that pique the interest of potential listeners and convey the essence of each episode. During a discussion with podcasting expert Dave Jackson, Jennifer Dragonette highlighted the importance of creating impactful titles for her podcast episodes. She realized that she was missing out on crucial opportunities to bring in new listeners and make her podcast more discoverable simply because her episode titles were not optimized. Jennifer's conversation with Dave underscored the need to prioritize this essential aspect of podcasting to boost listener attraction and ultimately drive the show's success. Don't Assume Everyone Knows Your Guests When crafting podcast episode titles, it's important not to assume that all potential listeners will already know who your guests are, as this can lead to missed opportunities for attracting a wider audience. Titles that put the focus solely on the guest's name may not be sufficient to pique the curiosity of those who are unfamiliar with your guest's work or expertise. Incorporating more information about the topic or guest's area of expertise can make your episode titles more engaging and informative. Jennifer Dragonette understands the importance of putting the spotlight on the content rather than just listing the guest's name in the episode title. By incorporating relevant details about the topic, she ensures that her listeners know what they can expect to gain from each episode. This approach ensures that even those who aren't familiar with her guests are enticed to give an episode a listen, thereby expanding her podcast's reach. Key takeaways from this episode are: Stop using the entire word episode in your title. Make sure the juiciest content is in the first six or seven words of your podcast title. Utilize keyword research tools such as Google Trends, Google Ads, and Capshow Chat GBT to help create effective titles. Be mindful that not everyone will know your guest, so avoid using only their name in the title. Reevaluate your current podcast titles and make changes for better visibility. 77. Empower Women, Change the World through Podcasting: The Mission of Empowerography with Brad Walsh

The Empowerography podcast is a movement that has been built on the idea of uplifting and supporting women through sharing their stories. Brad, the boudoir photographer who created this podcast, wanted to create a space where women could share their stories and inspire others. The Empowerography podcast is more than just a podcast; it's a movement and Brad's purpose for being on this planet. In this episode, Brad shares some of the key moments he's experienced through the podcast. Initially, Brad reached out to seven or eight friends in the photography and makeup industry to let him interview them, and they agreed to help him get the podcast off the ground. Sadly, he had to shelve the podcast when his photography business picked up traction. However, due to the pandemic, he reignited the idea and began reaching out to women on Instagram to share their stories. The response to Brad's request for interviewees was incredible, and he has built a beautiful community through the platform. Brad celebrates three years of the podcast and believes that he has found his purpose in creating this platform and community. The speaker is always looking for inspiring women to feature on their podcasts. They encourage women to get on their platforms and share their stories. Brad talks about how he's interviewed over 400 women. He pulls inspiration from every one of those stories and has forged relationships and friendships with some of his guests. Helping women to share their stories is one of the best parts of Brad's podcasting journey. Brad believes that podcasting is not easy, and sometimes it's hard to know if your podcast is reaching anyone. However, getting positive feedback/messages from listeners is a beautiful thing, and it takes a lot of work to build an audience and grow a platform. You have to find your "why," your purpose, and your community to keep going. Patience is key, and it takes time to see results, but it's essential not to give up. Brad shares the importance of numbers in podcasting, and how consistent listenership is key. Even big-name podcasters must invest in the back-end work to maintain a professional appearance and retain listenership. While over-editing is not necessary, some editing is crucial for a successful podcast. About Brad Brad Walsh, is first and foremost, I am a father to two beautiful girls aged 21 and 23, a husband to an amazingly inspiring woman, a photographer, a published #1 International Best Selling Author and a podcast host/producer who found himself wanting to inspire others during the pandemic. 76. Boost Your SEO: Ditching Linktree for Personal Website Links

As podcasters, we all want our shows to reach as many people as possible. I want to share my message with the world and build a fan base that can't wait to tune in each week. But getting our podcasts to stand out in the crowded digital space can be challenging I'm discussing strategies for boosting your search engine optimization (SEO) and driving traffic to your podcast website. They explain how using third-party platforms like Linktree and Milkshake may actually be detrimental to your SEO and searchability on Google. The first click on these platforms gives the boosted website a boost, which it may not deserve, according to Google's algorithms. Effective SEO requires directing traffic to your website. If users are directed elsewhere, Google won't recognize your website as a source of traffic. This can negatively impact your SEO rankings.I suggest building your own Linktree or Milkshake on your website. This allows for more time spent on your website and people to click around and get to know you. It also provides more tracking options, allowing for retargeting and ad targeting. In addition to discussing website traffic and SEO, I'll be providing tips for optimizing your podcast for SEO. I recommend having your podcast on a personal website as it provides another way for people to find the podcast without actively searching for it. If you're feeling frustrated by the lack of interaction and comments on your repurposed podcast content on social media, then you are not alone! Repurposing Podcast Content for Visual Platforms The process of repurposing podcast content for visual platforms is an essential strategy for podcasters who want to extend the reach of their content and build brand awareness. It allows them to create visually engaging content that can be shared across various platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest. This visual content is more likely to capture the attention of users scrolling through their feeds, thus increasing the chances of gaining new listeners. Claiming the YouTube Podcast Channel Claiming a YouTube channel for a podcast is a valuable opportunity to build an online presence and attract a larger audience. Hosting podcast content on YouTube allows podcasters to capitalize on the platform's vast user base, while also helping to reach a different segment of the audience who may be more inclined to consume content through video. Furthermore, by creating a dedicated YouTube channel for their podcast, podcasters have the chance to interact and engage with their community, increasing overall audience loyalty and retention. Lauren Litt recognizes the importance of having a presence on YouTube and encourages podcasters to establish their podcast channel. Audiograms and Social Media Audiograms, or waveform-based graphics showcasing snippets from podcast episodes, were once a popular way for podcasters to promote their content on social media. 74. The Real Impact of Ratings & Reviews on Podcasts: Debunking the Myths (special clip from Alex from PodPros.com)

E

Need help creating a better CTA for your Podcast: Book a FREE 30-Minute PODCAST CPR AUDIT: http://podcastcpr.com/ The Truth About Ratings and Reviews In the world of podcasting, many people believe that receiving positive ratings and reviews will boost their overall discoverability and help their podcasts succeed. While it might be reassuring for a podcaster to receive positive feedback, the truth is that ratings and reviews may not necessarily bring a significant increase in listener engagement. Instead, podcasters should focus more on creating valuable content and building relationships with their audience. I had to have Alex, from PodPro's pipe in on this RANT. He pointed out that while ratings and reviews might feel good for podcasters on an emotional level, research from Apple shows they don't actually contribute to a podcast's ranking. For podcasters seeking true growth, it's crucial to recognize the difference between a feel-good metric and a genuine means of driving listener engagement. So don't just take my word for it! Don't Make Ratings and Reviews Your CTA While making ratings and reviews of your call-to-action (CTA) might seem like a good idea, doing so may not be the best way to attract more passionate listeners or drive user engagement. Instead, try encouraging listeners to share episodes with their friends, subscribe to a newsletter, or engage with a community. These tactics can be much more effective in converting casual listeners into dedicated fans. During the podcast, even Alex agreed that making ratings and reviews the only CTA may not be the most effective strategy for audience growth. They recommend exploring other means of engagement and focusing on building a community that can eventually lead to attracting more committed listeners. As Jennifer Dragonette notes, finding one's motivation is a vital aspect of overcoming burnout and sustaining long-term commitment to podcasting. She emphasizes the importance of identifying individual drivers, such as positive feedback, ratings, and reviews, which can serve as powerful sources of inspiration and encouragement. Nurturing this internal motivation helped Jennifer maintain enthusiasm and dedication to her podcast. Re-igniting Your Passion Stepping back and reflecting on personal reasons for podcasting is key to rejuvenating one's passion for the pursuit. Affective engagement dwindles when motivation is fuzzy, leaving podcasters unsure of the direction and intent behind their content. Assessing the initial purpose and end goals of podcasting helps curate a vision for the project, driving renewed passion and productivity. From Jennifer Dragonette's experience, seeking inspiration from other creators, engaging books, and attending industry events further sparks creativity and interest in the podcasting journey. Jennifer advises podcasters to re-establish the why behind their shows to revive passion, emphasizing the importance of re-aligning personal goals and priorities. She shares insights from her own journey, highlighting that drawing inspiration from different sources such as other podcasts, books, and industry events played an essential role in overcoming burnout and fostering a refreshed outlook on her content. Sharing experiences, discussing issues, and connecting with like-minded people can lead to personal growth and healing. Utilizing podcasting as an outlet to openly express thoughts and feelings can be a valuable coping mechanism for both the creator and their audience. Dave Jackson highlights the power of podcasting to help connect individuals through shared experiences and interests. Jackson treats his podcast, Building a Better Dave, as his therapy where he shares content without a rigid schedule, choosing to create episodes when he feels emotionally compelled. He emphasizes that podcasting is more than just a way to generate income; it can provide a sense of purpose, and personal growth, and even help save lives. Jackson stresses that delivering impactful messages to the audience, regardless of size, is a reward in itself. The Value of 22 Downloads Understanding the value of one's audience, regardless of size, is essential in podcasting. Recognizing the significance of even a small number of listeners can be the key to personal satisfaction and motivation for podcasters. Engaging with an audience, even if it consists of only a few dozen people, can still produce meaningful connections and have a positive impact on those who tune in regularly. In this episode, Dave Jackson urges podcasters to appreciate the importance of each listener, as they contribute to the podcast's overall purpose and success. During the conversation, Jackson emphasizes that having a podcast audience of merely 22 individuals is still significant, comparing it to having a full classroom focused on the content being shared. By prioritizing the quality of connections and the value each listener brings, podcasters can maintain their determination to deliver valuable content for their audience, regardless of its size. Ep 6565. Overwhelm vs. Having to Work: Podcast Movement Evolutions Takeaways

In this episode, a determined podcaster strives to overcome overwhelming feelings of comparison and exhaustion, while navigating the complexities of the podcasting landscape, to successfully revive their business and podcast. I learned about how to overcome podcast overwhelm at Podcast Movement Evolutions Takeaways. The main points discussed were distinguishing between work and overwhelm, trusting your intuition and starting slow, differentiating between quantity and quality, and the importance of consistency and perseverance. It was emphasized that we should focus on one platform outside of podcasting and one social avenue and that the rewards of podcasting are worth the hard work. Join the five-day Profitable Podcast CPR Bootcamp for clarity and to revive your revenue. "You need to work the soil, you need to plant the seeds, and you need to nurture that plant so that it grows. So if you are willing to come and do that, you want some support, come hang out inside the community." In this episode, you will learn the following: 1. Is SEO alone enough to grow your podcast? 2. How to distinguish between work and overwhelm in podcasting? 3. What platforms should you focus on to maximize your podcast's reach and revenue? Chapter Summaries: [00:00:00] We just completed the last day of podcast movement evolutions in Viva Las Vegas. Podcasting and these podcasting events can be so overwhelming, but it doesn't have to be. There are some things you can do to make it easier. [00:00:52] Welcome to the podcast about podcasting. We're going deep into how podcasting can actually help you build your community, and build your confidence. If you're willing to lean deep into this platform, it can be the ticket to the life of your dreams. [00:01:37] podcasting takes work. Can you do this with SEO alone? I believe to a certain extent you can. What happens is we try to take on many things at once and we become scattered. Your brain has to fire up for each task. [00:10:00] For me, podcasting is my number one. Once you have a warm audience, is it easier to connect and to nurture a relationship? The other platforms that have been optimized for podcasters to grow and make money are TikTok and YouTube. Just think about one platform that's all yours outside of podcasting.

64. Repurposing Your Podcast: A Step-by-Step Guide to Expand Your Reach

Congratulations on creating a beautiful, informative, long-form piece of content for your ideal audience. But how do you spread it far and wide without going crazy? Podcast content can be repurposed. The first step is to plan. Don't rush to put something together at the last minute. Create a general outline and have a great conversation with your audience. Create an outline for your show description using software like Capsho. It can be used for podcast players, social media posts, blog posts, newsletters, and more. After you've created your audio content, expand your outline into short show notes. Add a paragraph or two to expand it out further before scheduling it into your podcast account. You can use this as a blog post on your website to improve your visibility on search engines. As a final suggestion, consider repurposing your podcast content on other platforms such as YouTube, social media, or even as a guest on other podcasts. If you repurpose your podcast content, you'll be able to reach more people and expand your audience without feeling like you're constantly running. Today is the day to start planning and repurposing! 63. 3 Secrets to Profitable Podcasting from the People Making Money with Their Podcasts

Desperate to make an impact and make money, an overwhelmed podcaster defies expectations by ditching social media strategies and focusing on creating an SEO-optimized blog, a consistent newsletter, and leveraging the power of LinkedIn to grow her podcast and unleash her tsunami. You will learn: 1. What are the big, profitable podcasters doing that you might not be? 2. Is LinkedIn now optimized for podcasters? 3. How can you optimize your podcast for SEO and use freebies to nurture your audience? I learned about Strategies used by Profitable Podcasters for success at an event in March of 2023. The most important strategies are creating a killer optimized blog, having a consistent newsletter, and using LinkedIn as a main social platform. Other strategies include using platforms like TikTok and YouTube, but the main focus should be on SEO and the written side of audio. Additionally, once you have a listener, use social media to nurture them into a superfan, but drive them to your show through your email list rather than the platforms. Finally, to optimize for success, make sure to create an optimized blog, newsletter, and freebie, and leverage the power of LinkedIn. "Make today amazing because you are beautiful, you are wonderful, you are worthy. And your message, your story, your impact needs a microphone. No more sitting around being a ripple. It's time to unleash your tsunami by being a podcaster that makes an impact while making the big money for being you." Podcasting is still a relatively small arena, so it's easier to create a community. It's important to define your community and create content for them. Podcasting is a great way to build trust with your audience, and the more trust you build, the more likely they are to become clients. Community building through podcasting is a great way to boost confidence and create a network of people who will support and help each other. "If you're willing to put the work in upfront, it feeds itself eventually. So if you are ready to build your community, you need to start looking at your show first. What is your community? 60. Podcasting for Bigger Impact: Where to Focus Your Time

A determined overthinker discovers the irony of spending countless hours perfecting audio files for a fleeting platform, instead of committing to a legacy platform with the potential to reap long-term rewards. "If you truly want the results, you truly want to be that tsunami impact, you have got to put the time in. Four-hour work week? Yeah, screw you. You don't come out the gate with a four-hour work week. You work your booty off to get that four-hour work week and you're worth it." After reflecting on my own experiences, I realized that I had been putting in hours and hours of work into the wrong kind of platforms, not taking the time to build a legacy platform like podcasting. Travis's words of wisdom about focusing on long-term goals, and putting in the effort for the future, was a wake-up call for me. 51. Create Financial Freedom as a Podcaster with John Lee Dumas (JLD)

After becoming the best daily podcast interviewing entrepreneurs, John Lee Dumas takes a new direction and challenges aspiring entrepreneurs to become the number one solution to a real problem and win the ultimate race of uncommon success by focusing on the most crucial factor - quality sleep. "Be the best solution to a real problem. And there are so many problems out there that don't have amazing solutions. You find it and you become the best." - John Lee Dumas Entrepreneurs on Fire is a daily podcast interviewing entrepreneurs, founded by John Lee Dumas. For over ten years, he has helped people achieve financial freedom and fulfillment by providing valuable content. John Lee Dumas wanted to build success for himself and others by providing value. If people focused on solving real problems for people on a large scale, they could achieve anything. In ten years, 3700 episodes, and 140,000,000 listens, he achieved success as the best podcast interviewer of entrepreneurs. The author of "The Common Path to Uncommon Success" has authored a book to assist others in achieving success. Today's conversation with JLD starts with emphasizing sleep as the most important factor. Every single day, he provides the best solution to this real problem, and he encourages others to do the same. You will win if you are the best solution to a real problem. In this episode, you will learn the following: "What does it mean to be the 'number one solution to a real problem'?" "What is the 'common path to uncommon success'?" "What can you do to get consistent quality sleep and stay sharp as an entrepreneur?" CONNECT WITH JOHN LEE DUMAS (JLD) Podcast | Website | Podcasters Paradise Connect with Jenn: [email protected] Book a FREE 30-Minute PODCAST CPR AUDIT: http://podcastcpr.com/ Join the Community HERE Chapter Summaries: [00:00:00] John Lee Dumas of Entrepreneur on fire nation on the podcast today. We are talking about the key to success. If you want to know how to grow your podcast, this episode is for you. [00:01:45] We're talking all things podcasting. Not just in the sense of strategy of how to launch, grow and monetize your show. We're going deep into how podcasting can actually help you build your community, and build your confidence. And as we know, success starts from within. [00:02:40] Jenn Lydon: I feel like you're the king of value content. If you can solve real problems for people on a massive scale, you'll get yours. When you can find a way to be the only one, you will win. [00:07:21] Most podcast interviews are just regurgitating what everybody's saying. When those individuals can honestly look in the mirror and say, I am the number one solution to this real problem, those are people that are winning. It all goes back to that same thing. It's providing the content. [00:09:01] Jenn: I wrote a book called the common path to uncommon success. She says the book lays out 17 steps to financial freedom and fulfillment. The most common step is discovering your niche within your big idea, she says. Jenn: It's an individual journey that everybody must go on. [00:11:26] If you were starting over again in 2023, would you start with podcasting? It wouldn't be a podcast that interviews entrepreneurs because it's just too saturated of a market. I would identify a topic that I'm incredibly passionate about, excited about, enthusiastic about. And then create the best solution. [00:12:32] If you could just do any podcast for fun, what would it be? It would probably be a podcast only focused on sleep. Sleep is the most critical factor to people's health, and this world gets terrible quantity and quality of sleep. [00:15:18] Without consistent quality sleep, there's no way you're going to be able to keep up with the rigors of being an entrepreneur. Stop trying to be a pale, weak imitation of other podcasts and instead find a topic that you are strongly, passionate for. I really hope that people focus on getting some good sleep in 2023.

Ep 4747. Unlocking Abundance & Profiting From Your Podcast (Day 3 Podcast CPR Bootcamp, REVENUE)

Fear of failure and imposter syndrome threatens the success of brave entrepreneurs as they attempt to regain control and make their podcast a profitable venture. "Money is energy. There's an energetic exchange, and it's something we put a value on. And I want you to just think of money as your best friend." Money and pricing were struggles in my business, which left me feeling unsafe. To help my clients with the same issue, I created a money series on my podcast. As part of my advice, I discussed the importance of clarity, people, and revenue. Even with a small audience, it is possible to make money from a podcast. Focus on your offer and create content that can move your listeners down the sales funnel and become warm or hot prospects. Anyone can make money from their podcast with the right strategy and focus. Money is an energy exchange, and it is safe to be abundant and charge for our services. A healthy money mindset combined with a significant offer and a micro niche show is crucial to the fastest growth and success of podcasts. Ways to Make Money from Your Show: Sponsorships, Affiliate Marketing, Coaching, Courses, Product. Then work backward and create a sales funnel In this episode, you will learn the following: What is the potential for making money from a podcast? How can you find a micro niche to attract sponsors? What is the signature offer process for establishing your podcast? Connect with me: [email protected] Book a FREE 30-Minute PODCAST CPR AUDIT: http://podcastcpr.com/ Join the Community HERE Loved this episode? Leave us a review and rating! Chapter Summaries: [00:00:00] Money is a hard topic. Money makes a lot of people feel unsafe. I want you to just think of money as your best friend. You need to get a hold of that inner peace with money to be successful. How do we plan a podcast with money in mind? [00:03:30] Every podcast, every podcaster, every person has different goals. Take a while to build. This is not going to give you the ego hit that social media is. It's a slower build. It doesn't mean that you can't profit from the beginning. [00:05:28] It's possible with the right strategy, but I want you to think about what is the goal of your podcast. Is your podcast your sales funnel? Number two, your goal for your podcast is to serve a wider audience. Find a way, find a payment plan. [00:06:59] What's your real goal for your podcast? I would rather have 100 listeners every episode that listen to my entire episode than 10,000 downloads an episode where no one's buying. 88% of podcasters don't make money from their show and it doesn't have to be you. The biggest issue is you have not established your thing. [00:11:40] So pick one offer that you truly want to go from your show. For me on my carrier for Pod Fade show, I chose to go with launch for a while. Those all led into my do it yourself course. But I always want you to be thinking offer first if your goal was to make money. [00:14:26] That brings us to Signature offer. Come up with that one signature offer that you want to offer through your show. Until you're to a certain point, one on one is more important. I do recommend, if possible, having a signature Offer that is open enrollment. [00:16:32] My signature process is what I call my deity method. CPR fits into deity because it's clarity, people, revenue. So deconstruct your signature offer and start thinking about it in pieces. The biggest issue is that podcast focus, not on offer focus. [00:17:56] If you truly do the session, this boot camp, you will be able to have almost everything you need, except for my eyes on your specific business. What I offer, I overdeliver. You need to get really good at storytelling. Offering baby step wins. [00:19:16] podcasting is not just a business strategy. It truly will help you with your self confidence. That's why I love my Feed Your Business With Love show. It was still bringing in 90% of my business. [00:19:57] Jenn: What is your customer's journey? How do they find your podcast? What do they get per episode? What's going to keep them coming back? The stages along their journey are going to be that micro content. The third step and your hot lead becomes your clients. [00:24:29] Discover, embody, inform, and inspire. Transform your legacy. What's one step that you can create micro content for? For me, the discover process is huge. The transform and the transaction process ishuge. Those are the two that I spend the most time on. [00:25:02] Tomorrow, we're going to talk about podcast selling without feeling skeezy. It's selling without being squeeze. There's a way to do it. This will be good for you whether you have your own show or you're getting on those collabs.

Like I was saying yesterday, financial abundance follows fun. [00:03:28] Today we are going to cover creating that profitable foundation for your podcast. Focus on your one purpose, your one thing. If you truly want to grow with any sort of speed, you got to get in that micro focus. [00:09:35] So what is that problem you're solving? Is your show showcasing your solution for your people? Audit your podcast to see where it's flatlining and where we can add a little CPR. This is also great for new podcast set ups. [00:11:10] How well do you know your person? Do yesterday's homework. Reflect back. Get to know yourself. The more you know yourself, the more you're going to know yourperson. [00:12:10] Then we're going to start thinking about keywords. Only focus on three to five keywords to try to grow. If you are not crystal clear on your business and your person, don't waste your money on keywords. [00:14:19] The most important part of your podcast for Searchability is your episode titled 100%. This is where your keywords need to be. Stop with the fluffy cutesy BS in your episode titles. Your show notes are the last thing to focus on when you are growing. [00:19:30] Make sure your name is very clear. Make sure you have a picture of yourself. Area number six is your podcast cover photo. Before you relaunch launch a show, think about a rebrand. You can come hang out on a free 30 minutes podcast CPR audit. [00:25:25] It's scary to put yourself out there. It seems like for me, it's a much more vulnerable platform. I feel like it's really an unrestricted version of myself. People get used to it. But Seen and Heard is a really hard one. [00:26:15] So what actions can you take to make your podcast magnetic? Well, it starts with fixing those areas, putting the ego aside and getting clear. Feed your business with love and the cure for a pod fade. I'm always open to have both shows. [00:27:08] 80% of podcasters aren't making money. Of the 20% that are making money, 15% of them make less than $100 from their show. You got to really look at what makes your podcast magnetic. If you build it, they will come. [00:29:52] What are you currently doing to grow your business? Is it actually serving you? Why are you doing it? Is there an actual return on investment? [00:31:17] The fastest way to grow is connection and conversations. Podcast is the quickest, easiest way to collab. The return on time investment is the connection, the networking and the money piece. [00:32:21] "I truly am ready to delete the app. I tried TikTok. It's not for me. I might break up with Pinterest this year, " she said. But again, where is it that you're spending time that you aren't getting the ROI? [00:32:55] I want you to share with us your one purpose, your one person, and one way that you are going to add play or pleasure into your business. What's on the agenda for tomorrow? Making money from your podcast without burnout and resuscitating your revenue.

Chapter Summaries: [00:00:00] One of the things that holds the majority of podcasters back from being, one, profitable, and two, actually seeing their audience grow is their true clarity. Me, I do not like focus. Am an idea generator. I love to run at things 200%. But when you don't have your focus, it becomes confusing. [00:00:36] Today is day one of the four day profitable podcast bootcamp, the podcast CPR bootcamp. We're going deep into how podcasting can help you build your community, build your confidence. If you're listening in real time, come join us live inside the community. [00:03:11] There is this method that you can actually have your podcast drive your conversations and lead into sales. It can be that simple, but it is work. If you have a podcast already, great. But this will still be helpful because this is your foundation for your show and your business. [00:04:27] There's a boot camp going on to turn your podcast into a profitable business. podcasting is a slow game because it's a legacy content. It's time to resuscitate your business and turn it into a profit generating magnet. [00:08:13] We joined entrepreneurship so that we could have time freedom all the time, right? Financial freedom. Yet we've worked ourselves into a bigger corner than we were when we were in corporate. What we're going to cover today is priorities, honoring them, resuscitating that inner fire. [00:09:08] When our internal fire dies, our business dies. Finding your priorities, finding what you truly want is 100% important to podcasting. Friday is hot seat coaching and that's going to be the fun day. I'll answer your questions and actually look at your business. [00:10:25] Jen Alqua: Are you tired of pivots hustles, chasing money and social media? It might be time to think about legacy content, aka podcasting. Take a stand, make it easy, scalable, and give up the hustle. [00:14:22] We're seeking those quick wins following the highlight and overnight successes. But it does take some work. It is possible to have those quick successes, but you have to have the strategy and the passion and the internal fire to make it happen. [00:15:21] Issue number two is fear. Fear keeps you in figure it out mode, not messy action mode. Create a messy, step by step messy action. Plan and take action with clarity follows content. [00:19:48] So I want you to create a priority list. What are you doing now that you are what does it look like? I'm a stand for putting self love first and growing a business based on that self love. What legacy tsunami do you want to leave behind? [00:23:55] You have to be willing to put some skin in the game, whether that's time commitment or money commitment. Your clarity gets you really focused. But the thing is that money f
