Podcast Episode Summaries:

[00:00:00] Second day of the Podcast CPR Boot Camp for Profitable podcasters. We're talking people, passion, purpose, play, pleasure. Without the Peas, your podcast can't profit. [00:00:59] This week on the Podcast about podcasting, we're going deep into how podcasting can help you build your community, build your confidence. There's still time to join us for hot seat coaching day. Go to podcast cprbootcamp. com, get your name on there, and you will get the zoom link tomorrow. [00:02:12] We are going to talk about how the PS can actually help you grow your business. Today we're going to go deeper on that clarity part, and talk about your people, your passion. Like I was saying yesterday, financial abundance follows fun. [00:03:28] Today we are going to cover creating that profitable foundation for your podcast. Focus on your one purpose, your one thing. If you truly want to grow with any sort of speed, you got to get in that micro focus. [00:09:35] So what is that problem you're solving? Is your show showcasing your solution for your people? Audit your podcast to see where it's flatlining and where we can add a little CPR. This is also great for new podcast set ups. [00:11:10] How well do you know your person? Do yesterday's homework. Reflect back. Get to know yourself. The more you know yourself, the more you're going to know yourperson. [00:12:10] Then we're going to start thinking about keywords. Only focus on three to five keywords to try to grow. If you are not crystal clear on your business and your person, don't waste your money on keywords. [00:14:19] The most important part of your podcast for Searchability is your episode titled 100%. This is where your keywords need to be. Stop with the fluffy cutesy BS in your episode titles. Your show notes are the last thing to focus on when you are growing. [00:19:30] Make sure your name is very clear. Make sure you have a picture of yourself. Area number six is your podcast cover photo. Before you relaunch launch a show, think about a rebrand. You can come hang out on a free 30 minutes podcast CPR audit. [00:25:25] It's scary to put yourself out there. It seems like for me, it's a much more vulnerable platform. I feel like it's really an unrestricted version of myself. People get used to it. But Seen and Heard is a really hard one. [00:26:15] So what actions can you take to make your podcast magnetic? Well, it starts with fixing those areas, putting the ego aside and getting clear. Feed your business with love and the cure for a pod fade. I'm always open to have both shows. [00:27:08] 80% of podcasters aren't making money. Of the 20% that are making money, 15% of them make less than $100 from their show. You got to really look at what makes your podcast magnetic. If you build it, they will come. [00:29:52] What are you currently doing to grow your business? Is it actually serving you? Why are you doing it? Is there an actual return on investment? [00:31:17] The fastest way to grow is connection and conversations. Podcast is the quickest, easiest way to collab. The return on time investment is the connection, the networking and the money piece. [00:32:21] "I truly am ready to delete the app. I tried TikTok. It's not for me. I might break up with Pinterest this year, " she said. But again, where is it that you're spending time that you aren't getting the ROI? [00:32:55] I want you to share with us your one purpose, your one person, and one way that you are going to add play or pleasure into your business. What's on the agenda for tomorrow? Making money from your podcast without burnout and resuscitating your revenue.
