He was largely focused on the research of understanding how the hand function is controlled by the brain predominantly in primate models or monkey models 😄 That interest stayed with him which over time eventually led him to understand how the hand function is controlled in the human system and also what happens when someone’s brain is damaged and how to replace this function so that these individuals can reclaim their independence and live an independent life 💛 Samir Sahoo is the COO of IRegained. He always loved fiddling around with things and when he grew up he eventually ended up being a marine engineer and worked in the oil and gas industry.
