In collaboration with the Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (HSTC) Late Effects Clinic at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada, this project aims to analyze data from linked provincial databases to define the risks and predictions of skin cancers in individuals who underwent HSCT. EApril 20, 2023Irene Lara-Corrales, MD is an associate professor of dermatology at the University of Toronto and a pediatric dermatologist at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in Toronto, Canada. She always knew she wanted to be a pediatric dermatologist, and her interest in epidermolysis bullosa (EB) grew deeper after treating a young baby with EB during her residency in Costa Rica. Most recently, she’s been championing Hidradenitis Suppurativa within PeDRA and the greater pediatric dermatology research community.
