A former US Navy SEAL with 26 years of service, William Branum is the founder of NW Recovery. At an early age, William knew he wanted to be part of a team that would push him beyond whatever limits he thought he had and still enjoy the outdoors and all it had to offer. He charged forward and became an Eagle Scout and joined the Navy immediately after graduating High School. After graduating from SEAL Training (BUD/S Class 208), he was stationed in Virginia Beach, VA, then San Diego, CA, and finally Oahu, HI, where he served on multiple SEAL Teams, taught SEAL Sniper School, and deployed around the globe. As with too many veterans, William suffered from numerous physical injuries and psychological symptoms that negatively impacted his well-being and quality of life. Migraines, severe anxiety, chronic pains, difficulty focusing, difficulty sleeping/falling asleep, and depression are some of the symptoms he struggles with on a daily basis. He tried many prescription medications to help and eventually started to "self-medicate" with alcohol to help with pain and sleep issues. During his last few years of military service, William started hearing more about the promising benefits of cannabinoids like CBD. Ultimately, he chose to wait until his retirement from the military before exploring this new world of plant-based benefits to help aid in his physical and psychological recovery. Determined to maintain his Top Secret Security clearance after the military, he sought THC-free options of CBD. Since his discovery of CBD, William has reduced anxiety, improved sleep, less joint pain, and an overall improved quality of life. Today William is focused on sharing the recovery benefits he has experienced through premium quality (THC Free) CBD in hopes that other Veterans and First Responders can also experience their own recovery. EPI 81: Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) Questions Answered With Dr. Rand McClain. Testosterone (TRT) For Men & Women, Clomid vs. Enclomiphene, And Increasing Free Testosterone

HRT involves taking hormones to replace those that your body has stopped making or doesn't make enough of. For women, this is usually estrogen and progesterone. For men, it's testosterone. There are various ways to take these hormones – pills, dermal patches or gels, creams, or suppositories. In this episode, we are joined by an Author and Regenerative and Sports Medicine Doctor, Dr. Rand McClain. He shares his expertise in regenerative medicine and answers burning questions about whether hormone replacement therapy, especially TRT, would be good for you or not. He also talks about the difference between Clomid and Enclomiphene and, finally, just what exactly rapamycin is. Though nutrition and wellness have been ingrained in Dr. Rand McClain since childhood, his journey to becoming a leader in the alternative and progressive medical treatments has been anything but orthodox. From being the earliest promoted to senior account manager in Deloitte's history at the time, to his stint as a professional boxer in Argentina, to being accepted to medical school at age 37 after being repeatedly told it was impossible, Dr. Rand has never been a fan of the "status quo." Dr. Rand's patients (many of which are A-List celebrities and world-class athletes) come to his practice, Regenerative, and Sports Medicine, in search of the innovative treatments he specializes in. From bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), hyperbaric oxygen therapy, cryotherapy, platelet-rich plasma, and stem cell therapies, Dr. Rand has dedicated the past 35 years to redefining what it means to be in optimal health. Dr. McClain earned his medical degree at Western University and completed his internship at the University of Southern California's Keck School of Medicine Residency Program (U.S.C. California Hospital) and has worked with some of the best and original innovators in Sports, Rejuvenative, Regenerative ("Anti-Aging"), Cosmetic and Family Medicine. EPI 80: TOP Health Tips From The Founder Of Peak Performance. Presentation Talor Zamir Gave To Elite Businessmen

It's easy to get confused when it comes to health and nutrition. Even qualified experts often seem to hold opposing opinions, making it difficult to figure out what you should actually be doing to optimize your health. Sometimes it can feel like maintaining a healthy lifestyle is an overwhelming challenge that doesn't fit within the realities of daily life. Only healthy living can incorporate all of these things if you want it to, and it doesn't have to be defined by grandiose displays of health and fitness. In this episode, I share some health tips that I personally follow and give to my clients and other people to optimize health. EPI 52: Dr. Al Danenberg On The Dangers Of Mercury Tooth Fillings and X-Rays. Plus How He's Survived Cancer When His Doctor Said He Had 3 Months To Live

We all know that "disease" is something that happens to us outside our control. The disease is an outsider that invades our bodies, and we are helpless to resist. Excellent health, the opposite of disease, is viewed as a blessing bestowed only on a select few. It is precisely this viewpoint that sometimes keeps us from experiencing the optimal level of health. Today, I am joined by Dr. Al Danenberg as he shares his inspirational health journey of fighting and surviving cancer after being told he only had three months to live. We also talk about the dangers of mercury tooth fillings and X-rays. Dr. Al, as his patients call him, has been a periodontist for over four decades, during which time he developed an unprecedented approach to gum disease based on evolutionary nutrition. He also has advanced training in evolutionary nutrition from the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health as well as The Center for Mind-Body Medicine, is a certified functional medicine practitioner by way of Functional Medicine University, and is a Primal Health Coach. In April 2020, Dr. Al was appointed the Chair of the Periodontal Committee for the International Academy of Biological Dentistry and Medicine (IABDM) and several months later was appointed as a Member of the Scientific Advisory Board for Immunity at Daivam Wellness Center in India.
