Known for his over-the-top behavior in and out of the ring, Adrien Broner has held multiple world championships in four weight classes, including the WBO super featherweight title from 2011 to 2012, the WBC lightweight title from 2012 to 2013, the WBA welterweight title in 2013, and the WBA light welterweight title from 2015 to 2016. In July 2018, Broner was ranked as the world's fourth-best light welterweight by the Transnational Boxing Rankings Board, and the eighth-best active welterweight by BoxRec. In December 2012, The Ring magazine ranked him as the world's fifth-best active boxer, pound for pound. Vicki Barbolak is one of America's funniest and most authentic comedians. She was a fan favorite and top 10 finalist on Season 13 of America's Got Talent in 2018 on NBC. New York Times Best Selling author of "Confessions of a Prairie Bitch: How I Survived Nellie Oleson and Learned to Love Being Hated," Alison Arngrim is best known to viewers world-wide for her portrayal of the incredibly nasty "Nellie Oleson" on the much loved, long running hit television series "Little House on the Prairie," and continues to amuse audiences through her many film, television and stage appearances. A house-filling favorite in Las Vegas since she opened as one of the hottest tickets in town in June 2000, Rita Rudner is known for her epigrammatic one-liners. Over the course of a multi-year run she sold almost two million tickets, grossed over a hundred million dollars and become the longest-running solo female comedy show in the history of Las Vegas. She was named Las Vegas's Comedian of The Year nine years in a row and in 2006 received The Nevada Ballet's Woman Of The Year Award. In October 2017 she was given the Casino Entertainment Legend Award. Rita's first solo HBO special, "Rita Rudner's One Night Stand", was nominated for several awards, as was her eponymous English BBC television show that later appeared in the USA on A&E. Rudner's two one-hour specials for HBO, "Born to Be Mild" and "Married Without Children," were ratings standouts and she performed all over the country, filling Carnegie Hall in New York three times. In 2008 Rita Rudner: Live From Las Vegas was PBS's first ever stand-up comedy special. Rita Rudner has written five books; her bestselling non-fiction titles, "Naked Beneath My Clothes," "Rita Rudner's Guide to Men," and "I Still Have It…I Just Can't Remember Where I Put It," plus the novels "Tickled Pink" and "Turning the Tables." Stefanie Powers began her career at age 15, dancing for famed Broadway choreographer, Jerome Robbins. She was put under contract to Columbia Pictures in the final years of the Hollywood Star system. While under contract, she appeared in 15 of the 24 motion pictures she has made, co-starring with screen legends such as John Wayne, Maureen O'Hara, Lana Turner, Ava Gardner, David Niven, Roger Moore, Bing Crosby, Lee Remick, James Caan and Sammy Davis, Jr. Her first television series, "The Girl from U.N.C.L.E," marked a milestone in U.S. television's history as the first hour long series featuring a female in the leading role. She became a member of the Screen Writers' Guild of America in the 1980s and has produced several of the screenplays she has written. Highly decorated Air Force veteran Wayne O. Smith was born in 1943 in Richmond, Kentucky. He entered the U.S. Air Force Academy on June 26, 1961, and graduated with a commission as a 2d Lt. on June 9, 1965. Lt. Smith next attended Undergraduate Pilot Training at Moody AFB, Georgia, where he was awarded his pilot wings in September 1966. He served with the 4th Tactical Fighter Squadron of the 33rd Tactical Fighter Wing at Eglin AFB, Florida, from October 1966 to July 1967, when he deployed with his unit to Southeast Asia. He then flew with the 435th Tactical Fighter Squadron at Ubon Royal Thai AFB, Thailand, and was forced to eject over North Vietnam while flying his 90th combat mission on January 18, 1968. On his last mission, Lt. Smith was credited with shooting down a MIG-17 in aerial combat before his aircraft was shot down. He was immediately captured and taken as a Prisoner of War and spent the next 1,882 days in captivity before being released during Operation Homecoming on March 14, 1973. After recovering from his injuries at Maxwell AFB, Alabama, Capt. Smith left active duty on September 4, 1973, served in the Pennsylvania Air National Guard for a year, and then left the reserves in 1976. In 1999 Wayne Smith retired from MidAmerica Energy as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Generation. Earlier, he was President and Chief Operating Officer of BF Goodrich Chemicals and prior to that he was Chief Executive of BOC Gases for the U.S., Canada, and South America. He began his business career with Air Products and Chemicals, where he was appointed to a number of executive assignments over a 16-year period. He was a pilot flying Boeing 727s for Eastern Airlines for a short time before becoming a corporate executive. Wayne is married to Lois A. Bolin, Ph.D., of Naples, Florida. He has two children and two grandchildren, who also reside in Naples. On the cusp of her big break as Paula Pokrifki—the Debra Winger role—in the National Tour of "An Officer and a Gentleman, The Musical," 24-year-old New York theater actress Mia Massaro received a devastating diagnosis. But the show must go on—and it did. Mia Massaro is a New York City based actor but grew up in Vineland, New Jersey (basically the South) with her parents Andrea and Dominic Massaro and two older brothers, Andrew and Patrick. She studied musical theatre performance at Marymount Manhattan College and graduated in 2019. Since then she's been killing the survival job game while also getting her first two equity jobs in March of 2020, and we all know what happened there. She started doing theatre with The Gabriel Project which is a nonprofit organization based out of South Jersey that would produce and put on musicals to raise money for children in Africa. That money would go towards bringing those children over to the United States to have life saving surgeries, something she now knows a little something about. "Amazing Race" Season 33 contestant Ryan Ferguson spent nearly 10 years in prison after being wrongfully convicted of a 2001 murder in his hometown of Columbia, Missouri. Ryan was a 17-year-old high-school student at the time of the murder he was wrongfully accused of murder and was sentenced to 40 years imprisonment. On November 1, 2001, Kent Heitholt, sports editor for the Columbia (Missouri) Daily Tribune was murdered in the newspaper's parking lot around 2:10 am. Two years later, a young man named Charles Erickson began publicly sharing recurring dreams that he and his former classmate Ryan Ferguson were involved. What followed was viewed by many as a series of finger-pointing, confusing confessions, questionable police work, awkward eye witnesses and a prosecution team hell-bent on solving the case. The result: Ryan Ferguson was sentenced to 40 years in prison based almost exclusively on "eye witness" accounts from teenage dreamer Erickson and Tribune janitor Jerry Trump who, at trial, miraculously gained the ability to positively identify Erickson and Ferguson. Both witnesses later recanted their testimony, claiming that police and prosecuting attorney Kevin Crane, now a circuit court judge, had coerced them to lie. The 2005 conviction was vacated on November 5, 2013, by the Western District of the Missouri Court of Appeals, and Ferguson was released on the evening of November 12 after spending nearly a decade in prison. He won $11 million in a civil suit against Missouri police. A documentary entitled "dream/killer" chronicles the story of how Ryan's father, Bill Ferguson, embarked on a 10-year campaign to prove Ryan's innocence. A house-filling favorite in Las Vegas since she opened as one of the hottest tickets in town in June 2000, Rita Rudner is known for her epigrammatic one-liners. Over the course of a multi-year run she sold almost two million tickets, grossed over a hundred million dollars and become the longest-running solo female comedy show in the history of Las Vegas. She was named Las Vegas's Comedian of The Year nine years in a row and in 2006 received The Nevada Ballet's Woman Of The Year Award. In October 2017 she was given the Casino Entertainment Legend Award. Rita's first solo HBO special, "Rita Rudner's One Night Stand", was nominated for several awards, as was her eponymous English BBC television show that later appeared in the USA on A&E. Rudner's two one-hour specials for HBO, "Born to Be Mild" and "Married Without Children," were ratings standouts and she performed all over the country, filling Carnegie Hall in New York three times. Judge Michael Corriero (Ret.) serves as one of three judges on CBS Media Ventures' Emmy-nominated syndicated court program HOT BENCH, created by Judge Judy Sheindlin. The show returned for its eighth season on September 13, 2021. During the 2020-21 season, HOT BENCH was once again the #2 court program in daytime television in household ratings and all major demographics. It has been # 2 across-the-board in all those categories since 2015. Prior to joining HOT BENCH, Judge Corriero served as a prosecutor in the office of Manhattan District Attorney Frank Hogan, a criminal defense attorney and a judge for 28 years in the criminal courts of New York State. For 16 years, he presided over Manhattan's Youth Part, a special court he created in the Supreme Court of New York State designed to focus attention and scarce resources on young offenders prosecuted as adults pursuant to New York State's Juvenile Offender Law. Under Judge Corriero's innovative leadership, the Youth Part became a model for mobilization and coordination of treatment and social services for children prosecuted in adult courts. He retired from the bench in 2008 to become the Executive Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City. In 2010, he left Big Brothers Big Sisters to establish the New York Center for Juvenile Justice. The Center promoted a comprehensive model of justice for minors that treats children as children and responds to their misconduct with strategies designed to improve their chances of becoming constructive members of society. An important element of the Center's advocacy was recognized in the enactment of New York State's 2017 Raise The Age Legislation which incorporated and institutionalized the Youth Part Model. In 2012, Judge Corriero founded, along with the New York Foundling, one of New York's oldest and respected social service agencies run by the Sisters of Charity, the Families Rising Project - an alternative-to-incarceration program that works not only with a young offender but with his/her entire family. Judge Corriero is an alumnus of St. John's University School of Law and St. John's University. He was a member of the Law Review and served as an associate editor. He graduated from St. John's University College with a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in social science. He is the author of a book titled, "Judging Children as Children: A Proposal for a Juvenile Justice System," which is a blueprint for juvenile justice reform. He is regarded nationally and internationally as an expert in juvenile justice. He has traveled extensively, lecturing and advising legal institutions in numerous countries, including Israel, South Africa, Sierra Leone, Kazakhstan and Peru. Judge Corriero is the recipient of numerous honors and awards, including: The New York Foundling's Lifetime Achievement Award (2015); Advocate of the Decade (2014) presented by Families on the Move of New York City, Inc.; The Eleanor Roosevelt Award (2011), presented by Citizens Committee for Children; Asian Pacific American Advocates (OCA – New York) Community Service Award (2011); Excellence in Juvenile Justice, Juvenile Detention Association of New York State (2007); Frank S. Levine Award for Outstanding Work in the area of children and the law (New York State Bar Association 1999); The Livingston Hall Juvenile Justice Award (American Bar Association 1997); Outstanding Service on Behalf of Youth Award (ELEM 1996, 2007); The Conrad B. Mattox, Jr. Commonwealth Debate Winner (University of Richmond 1996); The Charles A. Rapallo Award (Colombian Lawyers Association 1994); and he participated as a Polsky Judicial Fellow at the Aspen Institute's Justice and Society Seminar (2003). Judge Corriero served at the request of the former Chief Judge of New York State, Judith Kaye, on the New York State Permanent Commission on Justice for Children. He also served on Mayor Michael Bloomberg's Committee on the Judiciary. He has previously served on the New York State Probation Commission Task Force and former New York Governor David Patterson's Task Force on Transforming Juvenile Justice. Judge Corriero also served as Chairperson of the Committee on Juvenile Justice of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York. He was Co-chair of the American Bar Association's Juvenile Justice Committee. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association's Committee on Children and the Law. He served as a trustee of Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City; a member of the Advisory Committee of Citizens' Committee for Children; a member of the Professional Committee of ELEM (Youth at Risk in Israel); and a board member of Transfiguration Grammar School Education Association.
