It's The Daylights... The Living Daylights! With a US release date of the 31st of July, 1987, this James Bond movie was the introduction of Timothy Dalton in the lead role. It's a slightly more grounded adventure compared to the previous era of the franchise but still has all the classic one-liners, action set-pieces, and green flags. Beverly Hills Cop II, released May 20th in 1987, has some of what you loved about the first film. Murphy himself considers it to be "the most successful mediocre movie of all time". Completely ignoring the events of the second movie, we see the return of Nancy Thompson as she trains a group of teens to harness their dream powers and defeat Freddy once and for all. This week's topic might be the most obscure movie we've ever covered. Mirage (Hai shi shen lou / 海市蜃楼) is a Hong Kong martial arts adventure movie released on the 23rd of January in 1987. It tells the story of Tong, a photographer, who manages to take a photo of a woman he sees in a mirage.
