Show Notes Today is our very first show for the New Year of 2023. I thought, for today, I would start the new year chatting with my friend Rand Sperry about personal development expert Brendon Burchard’s take on what it means to live a life of purpose and to leave a legacy that matters. Brendon suggests something like this: “At the end of our lives we will all ask, in one way or another: Did I live? Did I love? Did I matter?” It seems to me, that if we approach life with those three questions in mind, we will be able to say, “Yes. I have lived a good life.”

Archive Lindsay Davis on Life: A Burning Ball of Desire
Show Notes On our show with Lindsay Davis today we explore the very core of human existence. I think we can best sum it up with the words of psychologist Phil Sutherland, “As human beings, before we are anything else, we are a “burning ball of desire.” Lindsay and I probe the ROLE of burning desire in every single move we make. We ARE desire. We express desire. Without desire we are barely more than automatons. But with desire we are hungry. We are fruitful. And we can find extraordinary pleasure and productivity in life. And why should our lives NOT be pleasurable and productive? Let’s find out in my conversation with business, life and performance coach, Lindsay Davis. . AnnaMaria Pietromonaco Lead in Highlight Interview
Live from electronica 2022 in Munich, join WE founder & CEO Jackie Mattox as she hosts AnnaMaria Pietromonaco, Corporate Vice President of Supplier Development at Future Electronics. AnnaMaria shares how a critical connection from the first company she worked for helped start and develop her career at Future, and how it doesn’t feel like a lot of years when you’ve had many different roles within one company. “We are taught to help each other.” AnnaMaria gives insight into how life at Future feels like a close-knit family and highlights the value of trust, autonomy, and flexibility in the workplace. She discusses the importance of not only quiet leaders who’ve been there to listen, but mentors who push and believe in you. That mentality has transitioned to her now supporting others, especially women, find confidence, clarity, and honesty as they move up in the industry. Jackie and AnnaMarie conclude with the big learning experiences that come with managing a career and a family and the progression of the partnership between Future and Women in Electronics.
