On stage he appears as a humanoid creature with a face resembling a bear-trap, usually portrayed wielding an enormous battle ax. Derks has been a featured vocalist on several GWAR songs as well as writing and producing a large number of GWAR’s catalog of music.Tommy, guitarist from the bands Cancer Christ and Squid Pisser, joined GWAR early this year replacing Brent "Pustulus Maximus" Pergason who exited the band after 11 years. The band started out as four college friends in Charlottesville, VA making music just for the fun of it. On today’s episode, we interview Funmi Mohlie, tea sommelier and connoisseur, hailing from London, UK, who is bringing Afternoon Tea to RVA. She worked in the luxury industry for over 20 years, including Harrods, where she got to experience exquisite afternoon teas.The whole concept started after Funmi, her husband and kids moved to Virginia in June of 2020.
