"Unfair" Jesus' way of life is characterised by unsettling generosity —the kind of generosity that gives the undeserving what they don’t deserve and regardless of how unright we’ve been, makes us right with God.

"Undeserved" There is an unsettling gift for just about everything, and we can sum it up in one word. Grace. It’s the undeserved, unearned, unearnable favour that Jesus came to offer us.

This teaching series is showing us the Bible has a unique and real way of dealing with our deepest emotions. What do we learn about fear and how to handle it?

The book of the Bible called the Psalms shows us the reality of human emotions. Here’s a person filled with tears, struggling with doubts about God and about faith. That shouldn’t be in the Bible... right?

What has the Bible got to do with the raw emotions of life like sadness, fear and doubt? Isn’t it just full of rules and instruction? Aren’t Christians always supposed to be happy if God is in your life? In this new series we will see that a section of the Bible called the Psalms provide a vastly different way to deal with them than the rest of the world. The Christian doesn’t stuff their emotions, nor are they controlled by them. In a world where it’s hard to be honest to anyone, the Psalms show us at least we can be honest to God.

What sets Jesus apart from every other God is the personal way in which he chooses to relate to us. In Jesus we discover a personal God who walks with us every minute of every day, through every situation in life. We are never alone. God is was with us. We get to enjoy the ‘With-God Life’.

We were privileged to host Peter Roennfeldt at both Crows Nest services on 31st March while we launched our second location in Turramurra. Peter - a church planter, evangelist and pastor to pastors - inspired our Crows Nest congregations with this powerful message: Like the church in Ephesus - Northside, a multiplying hub. He shared the biblical example of God's work through local churches to resource and release a movement of communities and discipleship.

Our desire to live life with God is deeply connected to living a right way with others. How can we more fully pay attention to the needs of others around us so that we might accept Jesus' invitation to a life of justice; a life of fullness in Him.
