The Gospel… it's a phrase that gets thrown around the world but often misunderstood. Sometimes we see it simply as one of the building blocks of Christian belief, instead of the blueprint for Christian life. In this new series, we'll uncover the core elements of the message of the Gospel. What is it? Why is it good news, and how does it change us, when we are "Realigned to Freedom"?

Living with the Spirit means that we can have access to the gifts on offer. But what are those gifts? What do we do with those gifts and how can I get them?

It's the most popular book in the entire world. But is it relevant to us today? How do we read it properly and how can we use it in 2024 to help us?

There is so much injustice and pain in us all around our world. Yet sometimes it is hard to know what we can possibly do about it. What if there is a way to live life that is equipped to do something about it?

We want to leave our mark on the world. We want to help people and to make this world a better place. How can we do that? What help do we have available to do that?

We all want to live the best life we can live. But how do we do that when it seems so much around us tries to stop us doing that? Stick with us as we explore some practises and tools that can help us live the best life possibl

Whether a person of faith or not. Many seem so thirst for something beyond themselves. What if a few simple practices can help connect us to that which we seek?

Second chances don't come by too often. This can leave us filled with a life of regret and "what could've been". Is there someone who is willing to give us that second chance?

Have you ever messed up so bad you don't know what to do? We can think what we've done is too bad for anyone to help us through it. But what if there is help we can get, even when we don't want to help ourselves.

The word religion has a lot of negativity around it in todays world. We often think of rules, restriction or pain when it comes to religion. But what if, unlike what you may have had yelled at you on a street corner, religion is not the answer?

How do I know I'll have everything I need? If I always give how can I be confident the favour will be returned? I want to live a life full of giving but the unknowns are scary.

If Jesus had his way, when people thought Christian or church, they wouldn’t think: A quarrelsome, hostile, disputatious, and deservedly infamous group. They would think: best neighbors I ever had, best employees, friends, bosses. Love doing business with ‘em. Honest. Disciplined. Self-controlled. They fight FOR their marriages, not WITH their spouses. Generous. Kind.

We ended last week imagining how that would look to people outside the church if we ever got it right—how much more attractive we would be. That’s how we are supposed to treat each other. What about people outside the community of faith?
