One in ten children experience it before the age of 18 and many families are not equipped to talk about it. According to a recent Boston Globe article, Boston Public Schools had been warned as early as 2021 by their commercial transportation insurer to improve bus driver training and safety measures. In March of 2025, National Interstate decided against renewing the district’s coverage due to an increasing number of accidents.
