We send rockets into space, but many times, after they go up, pieces of them never come back down! Spiders Might Dream Like People Do!

I finally did it! After many, many tries, I finally flew my toy plane all around the park. And I did it all by myself! 我讓我的玩具飛機在公園飛了一圈! Store Uses Robots to Deliver Coffee

Leather from Mushrooms
Mushrooms are part of a group of amazing living things that are not really an animal and not really a plant. 香菇不是動物也不是植物,它們是菇類! You can eat some mushrooms, and they're super yummy. But you can also make leather from them. 它們不只很好吃,還可以做成皮革! We use leather for many things. I have a leather belt and leather shoes. 皮革可以做成很多東西,像是我自己有皮帶或跟皮鞋。 But some people say we should try to stop making things with leather. 有人說我們不應該再用皮革做東西。 Why? Today is World Car Free Day! It's a time when some people stop driving their cars for a whole day. 今天是世界無車日! Cars make a lot of pollution. Very Old Forest Found

World's First Poisonous Bird Discovered

A Short Walk Can Keep You Healthy

Keeping Taiwan's Coastline Clean
The last time I was at this beach, it was covered in garbage! There was so much garbage I couldn't even walk along the water. 上ㄧ次來海邊,有好多垃圾!這一次好多了。 There were glass bottles, old boxes, and a lot of plastic garbage. Greenpeace Finds Plastics in Animal Poop
Nature is so beautiful. I love hiking through the mountains of Taiwan. Ew! But it is not nice when I see garbage in nature. 在大自然中看到垃圾好噁心。 According to Greenpeace, who are a very large environmental organization, all this plastic is ending up inside animals' bodies! 綠色和平組織說,有很多塑膠到最後進了動物身體裡! Greenpeace knows this because they are finding microplastics in animal poop! 他們在動物的便便裡面找到微塑膠! Microplastics are very, very, very tiny pieces of plastic. When experts from Greenpeace studied some wild animals in Taiwan, they found a lot of microplastics in their poop! Taiwan's Award-Winning Chocolates

Wild Taiwan Monkeys Are Not Pets
I love monkeys. And we have a special monkey here in Taiwan. They are called "Formosan macaques", but let's just call them Taiwan monkeys. 台灣有一種特別的猴子,叫做台灣獼猴。 Taiwan monkeys are different from monkeys anywhere else in the world! But Taiwan's monkeys are wild animals. And wild animals are not pets. Some people take baby Taiwan monkeys, and make them pets! 有一些人把野生的台灣獼猴當成寵物來養。 It might sound like fun to have a monkey for a pet… but they are not pets. They are wild animals and they should be free. So, now there is a new rule! From this year, no Taiwan monkey can be a pet! 從今年開始,不可以把台灣獼猴當寵物養,應該要讓他們自由! But we can't just take pet monkeys to the mountains and say, "Go free! Have a good life!" Chang'e, Goddess of the Moon
Happy Mid-Autumn Festival, everybody! Do you know why we eat mooncakes today? It all comes from the old story of Chang'e, Goddess of the Moon… Chang'e was married to Hou Yi, a famous hero. 中秋節吃月餅的習俗來自嫦娥的故事。嫦娥是后羿的太太。 Back then there were ten suns in the sky, which made the earth way too hot! So Hou Yi shot nine of them down with his arrows. 以前天上有十個太陽,太熱了!所以后羿射下了九個太陽。 The gods gave Hou Yi a magic drink, which could make him live forever! But he didn't want to live forever without his wife, so he did not drink it. But Chang'e drank the whole thing!
