Scientists Find Planet with Metal Clouds that Rain Gems
Ok, let's go to outer space! We're going to a super weird planet that scientists found in 2015. But… it is really, really far away from earth. Humans will never be able to go there. Even if we traveled at the speed of light, it would take more than 800 years to get there! 科學家發現一顆很遠的行星,就算我們用光速,也要800年才能到! Scientists found the planet with a special telescope. The planet is called WASP-121b. 他們用天文望遠鏡找到這顆星球,名字叫做WASP-121b。 But… everything on this planet is weird! Youngest Woman to Fly Solo Around the World
In Taiwan, you can get a driver's license when you are 18. Driving a car isn't easy… but after lots of practice, young people can become good drivers. But can you imagine a 19-year-old woman flying around the world… by herself? All alone? In a tiny airplane? 你能想像19歲的女孩單獨開飛機嗎? That's what our story is about today. Zara Rutherfield is 19-years-old. Space Junk Crashes into the Moon
You may have heard of space junk falling back to Earth, but have you ever heard of space junk crashing into the moon? 你有聽說過外太空的垃圾撞到月球嗎? I hadn't… until recently! According to some reports, in early March, a leftover piece of junk from a space rocket crashed into the moon! 今年三月,有一塊火箭垃圾墜毀在月球! Researchers say the piece of junk may have created a new crater on the moon that could be up to almost twenty meters wide. That is a very big crater. 研究員說,這塊垃圾可能在月球造成了一個20公尺寬的坑洞。 This, of course, was not supposed to happen… but there is so much human-made stuff in outer space now, some of it is going to crash into other things. In many countries, April 1st is a special day. It's not a holiday… you still have to go to school… but it's a day people do pranks. Yep! April first is April Fools' Day! 25 Years of Beach Legos
In 1997… 25 years ago… way, way, way before some of you were born… a container ship got hit by a huge wave! 25年前,有一艘貨櫃輪被大浪打中! The ship was sailing near the UK when the wave hit. The ship was lucky. It didn't sink… but more than 60 containers fell off the ship and into the ocean. 這艘船當時很靠近英國海岸,它沒有沉沒,但是60多個貨櫃掉進了海裡。 One of the containers was full of Legos! Lots of Legos. Taiwan University Makes 3D-Printed Steak
Do you guys like steak? Lots of people love it. They even love hearing the sound of steak cooking in a frying pan. 你們喜歡吃牛排嗎?很多人喜歡,他們甚至喜歡煎牛排的聲音。 You know that steak comes from cows, right? But a university in Taiwan made a steak without a cow. How did they do that? They used a printer. 台灣的一所大學用印表機做出了牛排。 Well, not that kind of printer. They used a 3D printer. 3D printers are cool. My cat has a long tail. Sometimes we might see a cat without a tail, but usually, cats have tails, right? Well, in Japan there is one kind of kitty cat that doesn't have a long tail. Its tail is so short, it looks like the tail of a bunny rabbit! Building a house is a lot of work. There are a lot of materials you need to use. You need heavy materials like wood, bricks, and steel! All of these things help make a house sturdy and strong. Free Trip to Jail
I haven't been on a vacation in a long time. How about you? Well, how would you like to stay at a brand new place in Switzerland for free!? 你想去瑞士免費住全新的房子嗎? Sounds pretty sweet, right? Croc Rescued from Tire
Have you ever put on a shirt and the collar was just way too tight? Eugh! My neck! It's pretty uncomfortable, isn't it? Now imagine wearing that shirt for six years! 穿著衣領很緊的衣服應該很不舒服吧!你能想像這樣穿六年嗎? Oh, man! That would really put you in a bad mood! Well, that's what happened to an unlucky crocodile! Don't Draw on Museum Paintings
You would think mostly everybody knows that you shouldn't touch things at museums. And you especially should never, ever draw on the paintings! 大家都知道不可以碰美術館裡面的東西,更不該在藝術品上畫畫! But somebody did that at a museum in Russia. And it wasn't a visitor to the museum, or a thief, it was… a guard at the museum who did it! Apparently, a guard decided to use a pen to draw on a painting that was hanging in the museum. 在俄羅斯,有一間美術館的警衛,用原子筆在藝術品上畫畫。 This painting was painted in the 1930s, which means it is very old, and it is worth about one-million U.S. dollars! 這幅畫價值大約一百萬美金。 That is a very, very expensive painting to draw on! Japanese Dog Trainer Wants More 'Poop Posts'
Oh no, I've run out of doggie poop bags! I hate it when that happens. Whenever I walk my dog, I always forget to bring enough bags to pick up his poop! 我每一次遛狗,都忘記多帶一些塑膠袋裝狗的便便! It's important to clean up after your dogs when you take them for a walk, otherwise there would be doggie poop everywhere outside! 遛狗的時候要幫牠們撿便便,不然會到處都會是。 A woman in Japan named Akari Tanaka actually had a great idea to fix this problem. 有個叫做Akari的日本人想到一個辦法。 Akari set up "poop posts" all over her neighborhood. The poop posts come with plastic bags. "Sea Dragon" Fossil Found in the U.K.
A really big sea dragon has been found in England. And I mean a really, really, really big sea dragon. 有人在英國發現了一條非常大的海龍。 But of course I'm not talking about a real sea dragon. Donkey Thinks it's a Dog

Zoo in Kaohsiung Welcomes Baby Sloth
Guess what? Kaohsiung City's Shou Shan Zoo has welcomed a new baby! But not just any baby, a baby sloth. 是一個樹懶寶寶! Do you know what a sloth is? Facial Recognition System Being Tested at Taoyuan Airport
I like to travel, but I hate how long it takes at the airport sometimes. There are so many people and it takes so long to show your passport and paperwork. 機場常常人很多,還要檢查證件,要等好久喔! Well, hopefully there won't be any more long lines at the Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport. Because they are starting to try out their new "One ID" facial recognition system. 桃園國際機場開始使用新的臉部辨識系統,就不用排隊了! This system is designed to try to make lines move along a little bit faster. Dog Patrol Stops Seagulls
I love the sound of the sea. 我喜歡海的聲音。 But I don't really like the sound of seagulls! They are very noisy birds! 可是海鷗真的很吵! Sydney Harbour in Australia has a lot of seagulls. 澳洲的雪梨港有很多海鷗。 Sydney Harbour is very famous.
