Floating Toilets for Floating Villages
Ahh! That's better… now I need to wash my hands! Toilets are great! They take our germs away. That helps us to be healthy. Without toilets, people can get very sick. But toilets cost money. Some people don't have money for a toilet. 抽水馬桶可以帶走細菌,讓我們保持健康。但有一些人買不起抽水馬桶。 In Cambodia, there's a big lake. It's called the Tonle Sap. Thailand Goes Big For Songkran
Today is the start of the traditional New Year in Thailand! The Thai New Year is called Songkran. It is in April every year. It's Thailand's most famous festival. Taiwan Man Runs Arctic Race

Siblings Meet After 50 Years

Sports Tournament for Bald Men Returns to Japan
Japan is great for art, food, science… and sports too! There's a town in Japan called Tsuruta. It's very small. Only about 10,000 people live there. That's not very many. About two and a half million people live in Taipei City! 日本有一個小鎮叫做鶴田,居民很少,只有一萬人。台北市有兩百五十萬人喔! Every year before the COVID pandemic, Tsuruta hosted a very special sports tournament: the National Sucker Tug of War Tournament. It was only for men who have no hair or not much hair: bald men! 在疫情之前,鶴田都會舉辦很特別的比賽,叫做全國吸盤拔河大賽。 Maybe you play Tug of War too. You need a rope. There are two teams. Each team pulls on one end of the rope. This tournament is the same. But it is also not the same. Kids Invent Heated Life Jacket

But, there is also some good news. Many people are working hard to clean up the environment. Man Makes Stairs to Mountain Temple
People like to visit a mountain temple because it is peaceful. But to reach that place, they need to climb the mountain first. Today is Valentine's Day! A day for love. Some people love chocolate, they want to eat it all the time! Today is World Radio Day! The first radios were made over 100 years ago! 今天是世界收音機日!世界上第一個收音機出現在一百多年前! Radios meant that, for the first time, people could sit in their homes and listen to someone talk miles away. The Year of the Rabbit
Happy New Year everyone! Next week will be the start of the Year of the Rabbit! 新年快樂!下星期就是兔年的開始。 Last year was the Year of the Tiger. Tigers are big, strong and brave! A Goal to Protect 30% of Earth

Radio for Afghan Girls
Today is Public Radio Broadcasting Day. 今天是世界無線電日! Village Oven Bakes Again
We get most of our heat and light from electricity. The problem is, electricity can be expensive! 我們的熱能以及光都是靠電力。但是電費很貴喔! Thousands of years ago, in England, owning an oven was expensive too. Most people didn't have one in their home. 好幾千年以前,大多數的英國人家裡沒有窯,因為窯太貴了。 Instead of lots of little ovens, most villages had just one that was really big. They called it the "village oven". The baker would use it first. Owl Rescued by Fishing Crew
Ohhh… I hear an owl. 我聽到貓頭鷹的聲音。 Shhh… let's listen… Owls live in the forest, right? But did you know they can fly super far? Sometimes owls fly very far away from their home in the forest. But, one owl in Scotland flew too far! 貓頭鷹住在森林裡面,牠們有時候還會飛得離家很遠。但有一隻蘇格蘭的貓頭鷹不小心飛太遠了! This owl flew far, far out over the sea. The poor owl was being attacked by seagulls, so it landed on a fishing boat. 牠飛過大海,被海鷗攻擊,最後停在一艘漁船上。 The people on the fishing boat saw the owl and helped it.
