MotoPG Ep 048: The Sad Puta is no more....Meet Sookie San!

E

It's hard to know where to start with this one. The racing was meh but the Greatest Motorcycling Podcast In The World doesn't care about that. Boris has a new poem to celebrate the return of Dovi, Tug takes a beating for upsetting a listener and Freido? Well, Freido is Freido. Something, something something. If you want to know more - and you do, trust us - just press 'Play' and hear for yourself... As always, none of this would be possible without our sponsors and we are especially excited to announce we've added to the list this week as we welcome Aprilia Ausralia to the fold. Makers of some of the finest motorcycles in the world, it's an honour to welcome them to the Greatest Motorcycle Podcast In The World. They join a lineup of some of the most respected names in the Australian motorcycle industry including Made in Germany, Ron Angel Wholesale (suppliers of Nolan helmets in Australia), Suzuki and Velocity Vehicle Care. (By the way, click the link for the Original Bike Spirits Moto PG deal on EBay. It's a pretty simple deal people: All these guys support us so you need to support them. We don't do deals with sponsors whose products we don't endorse and if you stick with the brands we recommend you'll not only be buying quality but you're helping keep us on air. And if you want to go that extra step, sign up for the Patreon Pit Crew and get access to exclusive content and competitions. Only Pit Crew members get to ask the boys questions in the Hearts and Minds segment and only Pit Crew members are eligible for the amazing Held prize of a trip to Germany in 2022 to attend a MotoGP race and tour the factory. Moto PG Ep 047: The Hearts And Minds Public Bonus

E

There are still way too many of you taking advantage of our incredible generosity here at Moto PG by not joining our Patreon Pit Crew so we thought a little taste of what you're missing out on might help. Only Pit Crew members get to ask questions for our Hearts and Minds segments and usually only Pit Crew members get to hear the answers - except this week. If you don't already give us money every month by being a Pit Crew member this should convince you to start. And even if you don't like it give us some money anyway. We both know we deserve it.

Moto PG Ep 046: Freido Says 'NO!'

E

Freido says no. Often. And now you can say NO! too with a new T-shirt in the merch shop. Scroll down and find the link below and make sure to buy two. We need the money. Now, apart from trying to get rich we're here to talk about motorcycles and motorcycle racing and the glory that is Moto GP and there is a bucketload of stuff to ruminate on this week. The boys dissect Maverick's dummy spit and the soap opera that followed, Boris has penned a poem for The Giraffe King (plus his Cultural Awareness and Empathy Training) and there's an especially smug edition of 'I Told You So'. It's all in Episode 46 so as soon as you've finished reading about and visiting all the sponsors mentioned below, hit the play button and bask in the glory of the Greatest Motorcycle Podcast In The World. Danny Pedrosa tries to burn down Austria in a glorious weekend of racing, the podcast has a new sponsor and Boris solves the age old question of What Women Want. Mot PG Ep 044: The Ginger Ninja

E

The Ginger Ninja, Joel Kelso, joins Boris Tug and Freido on a packed Epsiode 44 of the greatest motorcycling podcast in the world. Kelso talks Moto 3, Pedro Acosta, THAT incident with the Blind Rhino and his plans for the rest of 2021. Then we travel across the globe to South Africa where Donovan Fourie explains how the Binder's shit form has led to rioting across the nation before we welcome the one and only Dirty Badger from Malaysia with some breaking news about the MotoGP schedule. Don't ever say we don't do anything for you! Oh, and don't forget to check out Donovan's podcast on FaceBook. Moto PG Ep 043: "In Bed With Freido.."

E

There's good and bad news for Ep 43. The bad news is the boys are remote because of the plague and that means the sound quality is rubbish. The good news is that Freido is at home and so is his grappar. Please believe us when we say this people: Freido and grappar is a combination you don't want to miss. Boris has written two poems this week, we play MotoPG Bingo, I Told You So is back and of course there's a little bit of talk about actual racing as well. As always, none of this would be possible without our sponsors and we are especially excited to announce we've added to the list this week as we welcome Aprilia Ausralia to the fold. Moto PG Ep 042: "The BMW is like missionary, the Ducati is like taking it from behind..."

E

Tug told you so (which is infuriating for Borrie and Freido and anybody else who knows him) but just because he won one race does that mean Marc Marquez is really back? The lads discuss that as well as the one man Moto 3 wrecking ball that is Pedro Acosta, the 'stupid' penalty handed to Darryn Binder, Joel Kelso's debut in the big leagues, What's in Borrie's shed, Hearts and Minds and plenty more. As always, none of this would be possible without our sponsors Ron Angel Wholesale (suppliers of Nolan helmets in Australia), Suzuki, Held Australia and Velocity Vehicle Care. Moto PG Ep 041: "He drinks medical waste..."

E

It's the sexiest episode yet. Fabulous set the tone with his on course nudity and Freido, Tug and Boris have picked up the ball and run with it. Episode 41 has all your favourites including the 'F$&k Michelin' and 'We told you so' segments plus there are two bonus poems (and both mention Mir's mum!) Other podcasts talk about boring stuff but on Moto PG you get the real goss plus the odd bit of accidental analysis thrown in. As always, none of this would be possible without our sponsors Ron Angel Wholesale (suppliers of Nolan helmets in Australia), Suzuki, Held Australia and Velocity Vehicle Care. 40: Moto PG Ep 040: RIP Jason Dupasquier

E

Sadly, it happens. Riding motorcycles at stupid fast speeds for the entertainment of people like us is dangerous and every now and then, tragically, someone pays the ultimate price. Every racer knows every time they get on the bike that it could be their last and at Mugello it was for Jason Dupasquier. And so we pause, and we reflect, and we send our heartfelt condolences to Jason's family and friends and all those in the paddock. And then we get on with it. Because that's what racing is and that's what racers do. Our own Jack Miller summed it up best when asked whether racing should have continued in the wake of Dupasquier's passing. "It’s the one thing we love to do," he said, "and it’s the one thing we’re good at." RIP Jason. As always, none of this would be possible without our sponsors Ron Angel Wholesale (suppliers of Nolan helmets in Australia), Suzuki, Held Australia and Velocity Vehicle Care. MotoPG Ep 039: "His Father Was a Luber..."

E

The boys are on a Jack Miller inspired high after the Australian's second straight Moto GP title in Le Mans but that's just a small part of what makes MotoPG the greatest motorcycling podcast on earth. There's also Boris' Empathy Training and Cultural Awareness segment (which continues to educate listeners all over the world), Freido's Uncle Nick with the stats that matter and Tug's technical tips on how ridiculously high powered motorcycles actually work. And every now and then there's even a bit of serious analysis, just to keep things interesting. As always, none of this would be possible without our sponsors Ron Angel Wholesale (suppliers of GIVI luggage in Australia), Suzuki, Held Australia and Velocity Vehicle Care. MotoPG Ep 038: "The fascia is like a foreskin..."

E

What has arm pump got to do with foreskins? Is breastfeeding really the national imperative in Spain? Why didn't Jack Miller honour his commitment to appear on the podium in his undies? Answers to all these questions and more - some of them even true - are contained in episode 38 of the greatest MotoGP podcast in the world. Boris, Tug and Freido manage to hold back tears of joy for Miller as they simultaneously anoint Pedro Acosta as the Jesus of motorcycle racing. As always, none of this would be possible without our sponsors Ron Angel Wholesale (suppliers of GIVI luggage in Australia), Suzuki, Held Australia and Velocity Vehicle Care. It's a pretty simple deal people: These guys support us so you need to support them. MotoPG Ep 037: Wayne 'The Axe' Maxwell

E

What happens when Tug and Boris go on the road? Unsupervised? Bad things, obviously, but good things, too. We can't talk about the bad things (those records are sealed) but we can spruik the good stuff. Like spending an hour listening to a bloke who rides motorcycles really fast for money. A road trip to the Australian Superbike Championship round at Wakefield Park - including a chat with Wayne Maxwell for an episode of the World's Greatest Moto GP Podcast - sounded like a ripping idea when we thought of it and it turns out that's exactly what it was. As always, none of this would be possible without our sponsors Ron Angel Wholesale (suppliers of Continental tyres in Australia), Suzuki, Held Australia and Velocity Vehicle Care. It's a pretty simple deal people: These guys support us so you need to support them. MotoPG Ep 036: Malakas in Pyjamas

E

It was the birthplace of Chairman Mao but might Portugal also have just witnessed the rebirth of Marc Marquez? Did Jack Miller's title hopes die on Turn 6 at the Portimao circuit? Has Joan Mir already lost all the love he earned for grabbing last year's World title? No answers but lots of questions on Ep 36 of the greatest Moto GP Podcast on earth. Grab it now! Also this week there's a F##K Michelin segment with a twist (thanks Ron Angel Wholesale and Continental tyres), our listeners prove themselves useless at picking the podium and the boys get a shock at their popularity with real racing people (shoutout Troy Herfoss!). The weekend at Wakefield was a big success and this week's Hearts and Minds questions (especially the exclusive Patreon Pit Crew version) is worth the price of admission alone. Oh, and if you're one of those idiots who still thinks the Gen III Hayabusa from Suzuki isn't as good as the previous versions then welcome to bike school where Borrie and the boys will explain some of the simple maths that proves you're wrong. As always, none of this would be possible without the unerring support of our friends at Held Australia and Velocity Vehicle Care, our longest running sponsors who deserve a bit back fom you lot. It's a pretty simple deal people: They support us so you need to support them. MotoPG Ep 035: All hail Borrie's new God - the flying teen Pedro Acosta

E

Boris has a new God (but he hasn't given up on then old one yet), the pod has a new sponsor (Nolan helmets thanks to Ron Angel Wholesale) and Tug and Freido are at war over Jack Miller's clash with world champion Joan Mir. This week the boys start with the coming out party of racing's next superstar, Pedro Acosta, in Moto 3 and end with speculation of a return to the Moto GP track for the sad one, Andrea Dovizioso. In between there's Boris' cultural education segment, a Suzuki story with a killer punchline and Freido reveals his three favourite sports (you'll have to listen to find out). But while all that's great, it's nowhere near as interesting as our growing list of sponsors. Last week we welcomed Suzuki to the fold and this week it's Nolan Helmets thanks to the good people at Ron Angel Wholesale. These two join Held Australia and Velocity Vehicle Care in making the show possible and we thank all of them for their generous support. Now here's the deal people: They support us so you need to support them. We don't do deals with sponsors whose products we don't endose and if you stick with the brands we recommend you'll not only be buying quality but you're helping keep us on air. And if you want to go that extra step, sign up for the Patreon Pit Crew and get access to exclusive content and competitions. MotoPG Ep 034: Dovi, Jorge and Aprilia - The Super Uber Mamba Butter Dream Team

E

And so it begins. Race One of season 2021 done and dusted in Qatar and there's tension in the ranks with Boris impressed, Tug depressed and Freido full of splinters from sitting on the fence. It's Week One of hating Michelin (the race product, not the street tyres) as the boys break down a week of confusing results and ponder who will get it right for week two. That's all interesting for you listeners, of course, but what's occupying the minds at MotoPG HQ is money, and specifically how much of it Suzuki will be giving us as our newest sponsor. That's our way of announcing that the bike that carries the reigning World Champion has backed another winner by coming on board with the greatest MotoGP podcast in the world. If you like the podcast and you're already a Patreon Pit Crew member but keep wondering how else you can support the show here's your answer: go out and buy a Suzuki (and make sure to tell them we sent you!) Suzuki joins Held Australia and Velocity Vehicle Care in making the show possible and we thank all of them for their generous support. There are details in this week's episode on how you can return the favour to both but especially to Held who are offering a most magnificent prize to our Patreon Pit Crew members that includes international travel, attending a MotoGP race and a tour of one of the most impressive manufacturing facilities in the industry. So stop reading and start listening. Now. Music: https://www.purple-planet.com

MotoPG Ep 033: Nothing Better Than An Exposed Shaft

E

Testing, testing...! It's as boring as bat droppings and doesn't tell you anything about what to expect for the season but it's motorcycles with people riding them fast and so we talk about it. Much more interesting is the new and improved Jorge who has turned himself into the internet's biggest Moto GP troll - and we're loving it! All that plus details about the extraordinary prize our sponsor Made in Germany is cooking up for our Patreon Pit Crew for 2022 and a couple of new segments to look forward to. The start of the season is not much more than a week away and thanks to sponsors HELD and Velocity Vehicle Care Australia it's going to the best season yet for Boris, Tug and Freido.

Moto PG Ep 032 - Like Parliament House After an LNP p**s-up!

E

No racing yet but plenty for the team to talk about with the upcoming launch of their YouTube channel plus an amazing giveaway from Made in Germany, sponsors of the show and importers of the best quality gear from HELD. Freido, Tug and Boris talk the launch of 2021 team colours, whether there will be racing in Australia this year and a terrific segment of Hearts and Minds (featuring some of Boris' favourite tunes!) Also, don't forget to grab some of the magic bike spray from Velocity Vehicle Care Australia so your bike can look as good as you.

E

It's not OK to ride when you're pissed but podcasting? Completely different deal! Ladies and gentlemen take a peek behind the curtain with this special recording of Boris, Tugg and Freido's first Moto PG Christmas party. There's drinking, swearing, awards and even a serious bit where the three buffoons say a heartfelt thankyou for listening all year (especially if you joined the Patreon Pit Crew.) So press 'Play', say a silent 'thanks' to Velocity Vehicle Care and Made in Germany for their generous sponsorship all year then sit back and enjoy the final instalment of 2020. Moto PG Ep 029 - Ride, Monkey, Ride - to Port Macquarie (Pt 2)

E

If you're seeing this for the first time it means you're not a member of the Patreon Pit Crew which means you're just not doing life right. But because we're good blokes we don't want to add to the punishment you're enduring for your poor life choices so we present part two of our Captain's Folly Tour podcast. Three glorious days of motorcycle riding broken up by two hours of brilliant entertainment and insight from a couple of great blokes in the Cudlin bothers at the Black Duck Brewery in Port Macquarie was a hell of a first up effort. There will be more tours in future and they'll only get better from here so stop doing things wrong and sign up to the Patreon Pit Crew to make sure you have a chance to be part of it. Now we might be proving ourselves gifted Tour Operators but it's not a get rich quick scheme so big thanks to our great sponsors Velocity Vehicle Care (who still want Billy Van Eerde to be Australia's next Mick Doohan) and Held Austalia. To get VVC's magic 'make bike shiny' spray, call 1300 990 074 and tell them we sent you. And remember, all proceeds from these sales go direct to Billy Van Eerde. Meanwhile, what's the point of a beautifully presented bike if the rider looks like shit? Don't be that person. Buy the best race suits and gloves going around from Held Australia and pay less then the schmucks who don't listen to us. How much less? To get the special price you have to ring or email and mention Moto PG. The phone number is 1300 916 916 or email [email protected]. To see the full range head to the Held Australia website. And while you're listening to Boris Tugg and Freido, visit the MOTO PG website where you can help make the team richer by buying something in the shop. Even better, make a regular contribution by signing up to the Patreon Pit Crew and getting access to bonus content and a bunch of other great stuff. What are you waiting for? "I have just returned from The Captains Folly Tour led by Boris, Tugs and eventually Freido showed up too....and let me tell you all that if you’re thinking of doing a tour with the PG crew do it ....... if you’re not, seriously think of doing the next and the next and .... you get the picture..." That's a direct and unpaid customer review of our first 'On The Road Recording' effort and Jimmy has it right, it was beaut. But like fine wine, we will only get better with age so if you thought the first ride was good just wait till the next. In the meantime enjoy the boys being joined by the Cudlin brothers and a select group of loyal listeners in Part 1 of our special two part recording at the Black Duck Brewery. Moto PG Ep 027 - Like a Supermodel With Syphilis

E

The season's over but we're not. Freido, Tugg and Boris put a bow on the craziest Moto GP year ever but don't despair - the boys aren't done for the year. In fact, in many ways they're just getting started. As Boris likes to say: "The season is over when we say it's over!" In episode 27 there's news about Velocity Vehicle Care (who still want Billy Van Eerde to be Australia's next Mick Doohan) with several shops coming on board to stock the product in individual cans. And there's news about Billy, too, so listen out for that. Remember, every dollar VVC raise goes to helping Billy chase his Moto GP dream and all you have to do is buy some of their magic bike cleaning stuff (by calling 1300 990 074) and tell them we sent you. If you can't afford a whole case of cleaner (the only way to get it at the moment) join our campaign to get it into as many shops as possible by heading to our Facebook Page and following the instructions there. Meanwhile, what's the point of a beautifully presented bike if the rider looks like shit? Don't be that person.
