Everybody's talking about surrogacy at the moment. The Law Commission. The politicians. The media. But the question that nobody seems to be asking is - should we be making sperm & egg donation and surrogacy (both traditional & gestational) more accessible? Does the discussion focus too much on the rights and needs of adults, with not enough weight being given to the rights and needs of the child?

Our children are being bombarded by hyper-sexuality and gender-confusion messaging 24/7. Online. In the classroom. Everywhere. And now there’s a new show targeting young children - drag queens. But drag queens are an adult expression of LGBT communities. Even they admit that. It’s time to push back and say "no thanks".

June 2022: The Law Commission has just released its review of surrogacy laws in New Zealand, and argues that surrogacy and sperm & egg donation is a legitimate form of family building that requires a specific legal framework to promote and protect the rights and interests of surrogate-born children, surrogates and intended parents. There’s also a private members bill by Labour MP Tamati Coffey to make surrogacy easier which is currently before a Select Committee.But the question that nobody seems to be asking is - should we be making surrogacy and sperm donation “easier”? Are we truly considering the rights of the child?What is it like to find out that your true biological father’s only involvement in your life was the donation of his sperm? How do you deal with the feeling of loss and rejection from your biological mother who is labelled as your ‘surrogate’ or ‘gestational carrier’? Is it normal that when you see someone who resembles you, you wonder if they are related? Can you be blamed for feeling disturbed that some money or a contract may have been involved in your conception? What if the biological parent or parents don’t want any contact?

Popular American comedian Bill Maher who says he is an avowed atheist has joined others from the left in raising concerns about the 'transgender trend' – especially as it relates to our children. When even socially liberal people are questioning something which has always been labelled 'bigoted' and 'transphobic' if you dare oppose, then it’s worth checking out and listening to – because they’re a brave person to challenge their own.

With the possibility that the atrocious Roe v Wade case - which has resulted in millions of unborn US children being killed in the womb - may be overturned, the Democrats attempted to introduce a new law to supersede the possible Supreme Court decision. But the proposed law was more extreme than Roe v Wade, and very similar to another country’s liberal & radical abortion law. Guess whose.

According to the latest statistics, kiwi families are marrying less, and having less children. In fact, both our marriage rate and our fertility rate have reached an all-time low. Should we be worried? We say, yes!

Last week we found out that the 1973 abortion case Roe v Wade which effectively allowed abortion anywhere anytime in the US may be overturned and that the decision making process would go back to individual states. Abortion activists are enraged that their right to kill the unborn child could be impacted. Yesterday a draft opinion of Dobbs v. Jackson, the U.S. Supreme Court case that would overturn Roe v. Wade, was leaked. Five Justices are poised to invalidate the disastrous 1973 Roe v Wade decision that led to the deaths of over 63 million preborn children in the US. Abortion activists (including President Biden) are enraged that their right to kill the unborn child anytime up to birth could be impacted.

Senior Disney creators and now the CEO say that Disney is regularly "adding queerness" to children's programming. According to Duke University, "queerness" is now LGBTQQIP2SAA - lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, queer, intersex, pansexual, two-spirit (2S), androgynous and asexual. So when they say “adding queerness”, it’s the indoctrination of all these things. Remember, we’re talking about indoctrinating children. But it's not just Disney that parents need to be monitoring.

Billionaire Elon Musk is attempting to purchase Twitter because he is sick of its left-wing bias, and he wants the platform to allow free speech and to be more transparent about its decisions. But the left are not happy, because Twitter has traditionally been the weapon of choice for the left and the legacy media. We hope Musk is successful. Free speech is vital in the public square of social media.

Breaking News – we have official proof that the Ministry of Health no longer understands biology. Plunket gets it and so does the College of Midwives, but last week, the Health Ministry not only lost their Director-General, they also lost their way.But they weren't the only group to trip up on gender ideology. There’s been a huge furore around the issue of transgender women – in other words, biological males – competing against females in various sports including swimming, weightlifting and athletics. What happens when you compare the athletics and swimming times of teenage boys against female Olympians? You probably won't be surprised by the results.

President Biden promised to specifically appoint a "black woman" to the US Supreme Court. During her confirmation hearing, this "black woman" was asked to define the word "woman". Pretty simple. She was nominated partly because of this definition! Watch what happens when leftist woke gender ideology meets biology. Some schools are encouraging children to keep secrets from their parents - including the use of preferred pronouns (as part of identifying as the opposite sex) and accessing an abortion. It's time that parents put the state in its place and reminded them who the parents actually are.

There’s a movement that you’ll never have heard of. People who detransition. They go back to their biological sex after a period of gender dysphoria – of trying to be the opposite sex - sometimes after operations and chemicals and chest binding. But then these very same people become very pro-life -and champions for the unborn child. What happened?
