On today's show, we're trying to pick a new favorite prospect! Since Bobby Witt, Oneil Cruz, and Vinnie Pasquantino all got called up because of our support, we need a new player to rally behind, and I asked everyone on twitter for suggestions. It has to be someone close enough to the bigs to get called up this season, so segment one's full of some guys that, while worthy, are a little too low in their systems (3B Casey Schmitt, High-A with the Giants; Elly De La Cruz, High-A with the Reds) or currently injured without timetables to return (RHP Daniel Espino, Guardians). Segment two is the runners-up, the guys that we really liked but either need more time in the high minors before they can reasonably get called up (like SS Ezequiel Tovar of the Rockies) or have BALLED out in 2022, but it's a small sample size and we need to see more (Ceddanne Rafaela of the Red Sox, Spencer Steer of the Twins).
