Yulefest concluded in Kilkenny last night with a spectacular fireworks show, which drew over 3,000 people to the Castle Park. And festival organisers have revealed that over 100,000 visitors flocked to the city during the event, which kicked off on November 29th. Popular attractions at this year's Yulefest included the light display at the Rose Garden, Luxmuralis and St Canice's Cathedral and the Made by Kilkenny craft and design pop-up, which relocated to the Bank House to great acclaim. Speaking to KCLR News, Festival Manager Marian Flannery spoke of her delight with how this year's event was received and supported.
