Big old day with winning the America's cup along with Saint Patrick's Day, some HUGE celebrations were had! Yesterday after the show we executed a little prank call... We phoned a random person in the South Island and made them think they were reporting live from Auckland's viaduct for the America's Cup, she was very flustered and had no idea what was going on (naturally)! Jono also revealed that he's been going to the same fish and chip shop for 10 years, so we were wondering if anyone has been supporting/going to the same business for longer than Jono. So, we decided to play a cheeky game of Connect 4, but not in the traditional board game way. Kia Ora! After Oprah's interview with Harry & Meghan, we collected all of Oprah's questions, called our colleague Mike Puru, and played those questions down to him... It confused the hell out of him, but he answered them and therefore was TECHNICALLY interviewed by Oprah! We also caught up with vaccinologist Helen Petousis-Harris and she answered whether kids or pregnant women can be vaccinated, and how effective the vaccine will be once you get it. She met Meghan and Harry in Wellington when they came to NZ - they sat down and discussed Jazz's work in advocating for mental health. Hello! Today we discussed stories of survival, or why you shouldn't be alive. Actress Ashley Judd had a massive ordeal in Africa where she was in the middle of a jungle at night-time, fell over a fallen tree, broke her leg in 4 places and was left with nerve damage. After 4 flights back to America and an 8-hour surgery, she's recovering, but it was a very close call. So we wanted to hear whether you guys had been in a situation where you perhaps could have died but didn't! This was super interesting. Today on the show we tried a weird combination that "Weetabix" (the UK's version of Weetbix) claims is a great breakfast meal. That combo is Weetbix & Baked Beans.. Bizarre! We tried it and it was surprisingly not as bad as we expected. We then chatted about other odd breakfast foods. One person eats pancakes with mustard! That's a crime! We also chatted to a band from the Waikato, whose gear had been stolen (worth $100K). But they then found it all dumped on a farm, all in their original condition. Today we deep-dived into a bit of a dilemma. A friend of someone we work with is a bridesmaid at her friend's wedding, but she has a bit of an issue with the groom.
