Though this has been said before, the clamor for peace in the middle east may make it more possible than ever. God knows the future for His land and His people. Where does your value and worth come from? Our flesh craves the praise and approval of others, yet Pastor JD teaches that at the end of the day, the only One we’ll answer to is God. If we put our worth in what others think of us, we’ll continually be hurt and disappointed. Remember your true identity is found in Jesus and what He thinks of you.

The church is a hospital for sinners and restoring hurting people should be its mission. God doesn’t ask us to live the Christian life without giving what’s necessary to do this. Pastor JD tells us that God has given us the HOW of the Holy Spirit to do the WHAT of the Holy Word. The world wants to know if Christianity is real and if it works, so we need to model it well. Let your life be a testimony of the victory you have in Christ!

God’s Word is not meant to be confusing or accusing. Today Pastor JD warns us to be on guard against the lies and accusations of the devil. He loves nothing more than to put doubt and confusion in our minds regarding our relationship with Christ. The more you spend time in the Word, the quicker you’ll be able to spot deception when it comes.
