Today Pastor JD continues to explore the idea that Russia is the one that actually controls the middle east. The influence that Russia has on Syria is concerning, to say the least. Thankfully, as followers of Jesus Christ, we know that God is ultimately the one that is in control. We can trust Him as the days draw closer to the return of Jesus.

Who actually controls the middle east? Is it the United States? Is it Russia? This is because Russia wants to control the massive natural gas and oil reserves that have been discovered in Israel.

So many have the perception that Christianity is just a bunch of taxing rules that we’re required to follow, but Jesus makes it very clear in Scripture that His burden is light. Pastor JD encourages us today to come to Jesus just as we are and He’ll work in our hearts to help us turn from sin and begin to live a life that’s pleasing to Him.

Our culture is so motivated by doing and achieving, but when it comes to our salvation, the doing and achieving has already been accomplished by Jesus.
