Who you are when you hit rock bottom is not who you are or how you are defined, you are defined by how you pick yourself back up after the fall. It's okay if you lost yourself for a little bit...you can always make a comeback as the brightest, bubbliest, happiest version of you.

When I spoke up about my sexual assault over a decade ago I was met with so many questions, and doubt. Speaking up about what had happened to me, and dealing with the backlash from adults and peers in my high school was almost worse than the incident itself. Years later I am just now finally able to connect the dots between what had happened in that classroom back in 9th grade, and the severity of where my eating disorder stemmed from. (The power of therapy is amazing you guys..) This episode was hard to record, hard to edit, and even harder to release to the world. But my story, like many others' needs to be heard.
