Over the past four years, we’ve delved deeply into the enigmatic world of aliens. In this new episode of Hidden in the Shadows, we delve into one of the most notable alien abduction cases to date. Interestingly, this event occurred relatively close to our location. Isaac’s interest in the case peaked when he heard about the encounter on another podcast. Realizing the proximity of the event, he began to investigate the encounter further. He quickly identified it as an ideal topic for our episode, and we both began to delve deeper. The central figure of this story is Chris Bledsoe, a religious man suffering from a severe illness. During a camping trip with his son and some coworkers, he decided to take a walk away from their campsite. Looking to the sky, he called out for help. His plea was answered by dancing orbs, and from that point, everything escalated. He experienced four hours of missing time, began seeing dancing orbs, small grays, and a female figure he referred to as “The Mother”. While the beginning of this story aligns with many alien abduction stories, what sets this one apart is the involvement of the Vatican, government officials, and more. The story itself is captivating and truly immerses you in a world of the unknown. Naturally, we share our perspectives, discuss local phenomena that correlate with the story, and much more. Some time ago, we discussed the chilling urban legend of The Black-Eyed Kids. Recently, we revisited this topic in our Camp Lejeune episode due to reports from individuals who claimed to have spotted what they referred to as “black-eyed kids” in the vicinity of the military base. In the city of Jacksonville, North Carolina, lies a military base with a dark and spooky past. Camp Lejeune, established in 1941, has witnessed more than just military maneuvers and drills. Beneath the vile of disinclined routines and military procedures it seems to have opened a shadowy realm where the veil between this world and the next rolls thin. In this episode we dive into a multitude of different encounters including some of our own. Prior to this episode we read over 3,000 encounter stories which covered a wide and various span of paranormal encounters. One of the most prevalent stories revolves around experiencing what is believed to be the Wendigo. Deep within the forests of Camp Lejeune, soldiers have reported hearing weird cries that echo through the night. Sightings of gnomes have also been reported. Finally we dive into the strange lights that are associated with the gnomes and our own encounter with strange light dancing across the New River’s surface. And finally, we discuss the phantom watchman. In this we dive into two infamous battlefields known as Gettysburg Battlefield and Waterloo battlefield. We discuss the mysteries that surround these historic sites and explore some of the experiences of visitors including full bodies apparitions, phantom cannon fire, sadness and a heavy feeling, phantom smells and so much more. We ask questions and discuss the residual energy still trapped there as well as restless spirits. We discuss how burials and bodies after battles and wars were handled and how that could possibly influence why certain spirits are still haunting the Gettysburg grounds and other battlefields. Have you ever seen an entity with a strange Cheshire Cat-like grin? After having this experience, ourselves, we decided to dig deeper to see if there was any specific documentation about this entity. While an urban legend about a Grinner Man existed, it wasn't the same. So, we took to forums and places on the internet where people discussed their personal encounter stories, and sure enough this has been experienced more often than we expected. In this episode we take a dive into a subject we don't talk about too much about on episodes. In this episode we talk about the possession case that took the world by storm in 1953. 18-year-old Clarita Villanueva was in incarcerated at a jail known for its brutality within its walls. Little did Clarita know her life would be turned completely upside down more so than it had already been. She began having violent attacks and bite marks started appearing on her right in front of personal at the jail. She started explaining about how she would see this entity she would call "The Thing". A creature towering over 10 feet tall with weird teeth and fangs, as well as small almost goblin like creature. It wasn't until they called in a pastor to help eliminate these entities and within three days was rid of what was causing her turmoil. After the creatures left she began to live a normal life. Over the years of podcasting, we have covered tons of haunted locations and aerial phenomena, and most places we’ve covered that have been outdoors have had strange light phenomena happen. Whether it is thought to be spirits or aliens, we have always looked into both theories. And up until a couple months ago, we had no experience with seeing lights in the sky. We have seen orbs and different spiritual light anomalies, but nothing impactful. Until one night, I was doing an investigation at a local park. Strange noises came forward, and some digitized voices asked if we wanted to see something in the sky. Of course we said yes, and that's when our very first experience with lights in the sky happened during an investigation. At the same time this was happening, Isaac’s mom shared an insane story about a light that followed her on the way home. In this episode, we discuss certain locations that are prevalent for seeing phenomena with lights in the sky, like the Brown Mountain Lights in North Carolina. We also touch on events that cause multiple people to question what's in the sky, including the 1994 Hoover, Michigan, incident where over 300 residents called in to police to report these strange lights. We then finish up the episode by detailing specific cases where seeing lights in the sky led to possible alien abductions. This episode poses the question: could there be more lights in the sky than we imagine? Could they be part of something way bigger? In this episode we are diving into our investigation that took place over a couple of different times at a local park. In this episode we dive into part 2 of the Alaskan Triangle. The Alaskan Triangle is know for over 16,000 missing people from 1988 to now. Most cases go unsolved without a trace as to where these people are. In Part 1 we dove into the paranormal phenomena behind the possible missing people including Energy Anomalies, Cryptids, Possible Aliens and more. In part 2 we dive into the cases as well as some added supernatural speculation including The Big Hairy Man and a theory of an alien underground base which caused a remote viewer to be killed over. Towards the end of the episode we tried something extremely new to us and that's Megan remote viewing while doing an Estes Method. She goes into detail what she sees as well as channels through a couple of entities at said location.
