On episode 104 of The Climate Realism Show, we explain that to save the whales we need to kill these growing large-scale offshore wind projects. These so-called “wind farms” are much larger and do much more environmental damage than most people realize. Covering an area the size of Connecticut and Rhode Island combined, one project off the Mid-Atlantic poses an existential risk to the critically endangered North Atlantic right whale. That is just one of many ocean mammals harassed and killed by these projects that will, at best, provide unreliable and expensive energy. Remember when “save the whales” was the cry of the environmentalists? Now they are fine with a spike in dead whales washing up on our Atlantic beaches as long as the “green energy” agenda continues apace.The Heartland Institute is part of a lawsuit to stop to a major wind project in the Atlantic and save the right whale. Olympian Mary Lou Retton made a stunning revelation when asked why she didn’t have health insurance while she was in intensive care fighting for her life. “I couldn’t afford it,” Retton told the Today Show on January 8 when she was faced with a life threating pneumonia recently. Retton’s daughter started a “Go Fund Me” page to help her mother pay for what was likely to be tens of thousands of dollars in hospital bills. Health Care News managing editor AnneMarie Schieber talked to Kansas State Senator Beverly Gossage as to why Retton may have gone without health insurance. The likely answer is Obamacare, the only option for people without an employer health plan. Gossage discusses what Retton might have paid for an Obamacare plan without subsidies and why there are almost no other options today for middle income people. The other day, Heartland Institute Editorial Director Chris Talgo was a guest on "The Absolute Truth with Emerald Robinson" on Lindell TV. Chris was invited on the program to talk about our analysis of The Heartland Institute's blockbuster poll in December which found that one in four voters who used mail-in ballots in the 2020 presidential election admitted to submitting an illegal vote -- activities like voting in a state in which you are not a permanent resident, filling out a ballot that is not your own, or signing a ballot that was not your own. Whether or not those illegal activities were done with malice or by accident, those votes should have NOT been counted in the 2020 presidential election. As a follow-up, Chris and others at Heartland analyzed this data to see how various levels of this illegal voting activity with mail-in ballots -- again, admitted to by Americans in our survey -- would have affected the 2020 Election in the six close swing states. Out of 29 scenarios in which we continually lowered the level of illegal votes cast, Donald Trump would have won, not Biden, in 26 of them.
