In the 2024 election, she is campaigning for a seat on the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors. 1) Serving for over a decade in the AZ State Legislature has to have prepared you for several elected positions. What is it about the MCBOS that caused you to toss your hat in the ring? 2) Most people had never heard about the MCBOS before the 2020 Election, and then suddenly every national news outlet was talking about it. How can the voters better supervise the Supervisors in the future? 3) Some say that Maricopa County is too large to trust to so few people with such a long list of responsibilities. What do you say about that? 4) What has been your proudest moment as an elected official? 5) What has been your hardest lesson as a leader? 6) What makes you uniquely qualified to hold one of the five seats on the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors?

Our guest today is Stacey Goodman. Stacey is the author of "The Dust Never Settles", which is her true, first-hand account of serving as an emergency responder at ground zero in New York on 9/11. 1) Thank you for your service. Please tell us your story. I served with the Suffolk County Police Department Long Island, NY for 21 years retiring at the rank of Detective. I had 6 years on when I was activated by a Federal Agency, D.M.O.R.T. ( Disaster Mortuary Operational Response Team) which at the time was a volunteer agency under Health & Human Services mostly comprised of medical professionals. My job was as a logistics specialist to assist the Medical Examiner and I since I was sworn in as a temporary federal agent, my responsibility became that of performing preliminary IDs of all remains brought in to the temporary morgue before being transferred to the NYC Medical Examiner’s Office. I worked 12-hour shifts 7 days a week for 23 days on the pile. I suffer some health issues related to my service at Ground Zero in NYC. 2) What caused you to write “The Dust Never Settles”? 3) You now live in AZ and we met through Women For Gun Rights. One of our mottos is “I am my own first responder.” Having been a professional First Responder, what should citizens know about that kind of responsibility?

Our guest today is Professor David Yamane. David is an Asian American and lifelong liberal from the San Francisco Bay Area. He became a first-time gun owner as a forty-two-year-old and embarked on an immersive twelve-year study of American gun culture from his unique perspective as a Professor of Sociology. David is the author of the new book, “Gun Curious,” which translates what he has learned, and is a perfect book for anyone who is curious and open-minded about the issue of firearms. 1) What does “gun curious” in your book’s title mean? 2) What is one surprising takeaway from your journey into American gun culture? 3) What do people tend to misunderstand about guns, gun owners, and gun culture? 4) How can we have better conversations about guns?

Our guest today is Sonny Leggett. Retired US Army Colonel, Sonny Leggett, is the Chief Communications Officer of the PrairieFire in Nevada, which is a 550-acre campus developed as a premier destination for shooting enthusiasts worldwide. 1) Tell us the PrairieFire Story. The name alone is intriguing. (PF celebrated their Grand Opening September 23, 2023 – formerly known as FrontSite under different management) 2) What kind of training opportunities are available at PrairieFire? Is it open to the general public, or must one have a membership? 3) PrairieFire supports a variety of non-profits. What are some of the fund-raising events you have held? And what events are coming up? 4) This episode is titled “Igniting Excellence” because in our experience the PF Team exemplifies that. And because you also have Leadership, Learning, and Development Programs, which is not standard practice at the average shooting complex. Talk to us about these programs.

Our guest today is Alan Myers. Alan Myers is a San Diego CPA and forensic accountant. For over a decade, he has dedicated himself to researching, studying and analyzing the Federal Reserve System, banking and the national debt. 1) Federal ownership of land. Some call it a Federal land grab - what is it and why should citizens be concerned about it? States are the parents, they created the Constitution, ratified the Constitution and it is the Constitution which brought into existence the federal government, the child. The child is to do only what it has been told to do or can do, nothing more. Article I, Section 8, Clause 17 of the U.S. Constitution Total land in the U.S. is 2,271,343,360 acres, of which, federal government owns 615,311,602 acres or 27% of total land in the U.S. The 12 States with the most federal government land owned are, in order, Nevada (80%), Utah (63%), Idaho (61.9%), Alaska (60.9%), Oregon (52%), Wyoming (46.7%), California (45.4%), Arizona (38.6%), Colorado (36.2%), New Mexico (31.7%), Montana (29%) and Washington (28.5%). Note each State is West of the Mississippi. My understanding is that the federal government does not pay property taxes to any State. With land that was taken by the federal government in a manner that exceeded its Constitutional power, the State would now be in the position to benefit from such a return. The land could be leased, rented or sold which would generate funds for the State and provide additional future funds from the collection of property taxes. 2) The 2ND Amendment. Is it a gift, a duty, or both? Arms includes guns, swords, spears, arrows, clubs, axes and shields that would be used in defense or attack. Also note that the word arms comes from the Latin word arma which means weapons. The 2nd Amendment is one hell of a gift that enables practically all of us to be able to Protect and Defend our State’s Freedom from an evil, overreaching central government. However, the 2nd Amendment is more than just a gift. It speaks of a Duty that we owe to each other and the Constitution! What did Jefferson say, "The price of freedom is eternal vigilance." 3) How do people follow you? Our guest today is Sheriff Mike Boudreaux. Mike Boudreaux is a 2024 Candidate for Congress to represent California District 20. Sheriff Boudreaux is also the elected president of the California State Sheriffs Association, representing all 58 sheriffs in the state of California. Sheriff Boudreaux is a graduate of the FBI National Academy, which he attended in Quantico Virginia and has a long track record of defending and supporting the Second Amendment. 1) Enforcing the law and supporting the Second Amendment in CA nowadays sound like oxymorons because the state firearms laws have changed so much in our lifetimes. Talk to us about how an elected Law Enforcement Officer handles those dichotomies. 2) If elected, you will be shifting from enforcing laws to creating laws. How does your nearly 4 decades of experience, much of it as the highest law enforcement officer in your county, prepare you and translate to the job of a Congressman? 3) The Biden Administration has recently announced a National Extreme Risk Protection Order (ERPO) Resource Center. ERPOs, or Red-Flag Laws are gun confiscation schemes in sheeps’ clothing that deny citizens of our due process. As sheriff, how have you dealt with ERPOs? And, if elected as a Congressman, how will you deal with federal pressure to support such measures? 4) You are in CA District 20, previously served by Kevin McCarthy who was for a brief time the Speaker of the House in DC. Our guest today is Stephen Shives. Steve is a first-time political candidate, running for Florida House District 27 in 2024. He has been an entrepreneur since high school, starting his own business in 1982 at the age of 16. In 2012, he started Runaway Campers, a small camping trailer manufacturing company in his backyard, that has since grown into a nationwide company, with thousands of units on the road. Our guest today is Sandra Richardson. Sandra was the victim of the NY SAFE Act and a false report concerning her mental health. Sandra is a gun owner, was the subject of a false NY SAFE Act report. Thankfully, the court determined the report against her was "arbitrary, capricious or an abuse of discretion" and her rights were restored. After that ordeal, she brought together data that clearly shows that the NY SAFE Act has created a very large barrier to mental health care and is ineffective in capturing its target population. 1) The New York Secure Ammunition and Firearms Enforcement Act of 2013 proposes to help keep guns out of the hands of people with mental health issues. But, like so many “well-meaning” laws the NY SAFE Act ensnares people like you who are simply seeking help with normal stress. 2) After regaining your Second Amendment rights, you wanted to understand more about NY SAFE Act reporting and its impact on the public. How did you approach this and what did you find? 3) What do you hope will come from sharing your story and your research efforts? Raise awareness of the multiple Constitutional violations (2A, 1A, 4A, 6A, 14A) of NY SAFE Act reporting, and awareness of the fact that this kind of egregious reporting system does not protect people, but instead undermines public health by preventing people from seeking care. Hope that others will use this information to help remove both barriers to care and stigma around guns and mental health. 4) How do people follow you?

Lyrah is a student attending Arizona Christian University double-majoring in Political Science and Communications with a minor in Biblical Studies. She is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of Stronghold Media, ACU’s student-led press and media club. She is currently studying under Dr. George Barna of the Cultural Research Center. Lyrah is a Liberty and Learning Fellow for the Fund for American Studies, where she interned with the Daily Caller in the summer. 1) You are very unique for your age group. You even wrote a blog about being a young Conservative living in a Blue State. What makes you so strong to stand against the cultural tide? 2) Your article in Daily Caller discusses findings from research on this year's mass shootings are not what other media and political figures are touting. Talk to us about that. 3) You suggest that further research might be needed. But, there seems to be a concerted effort out there to be willfully ignorant of the truth. If that is in fact the case, what are we to do to advocate for truth? 4) Talk to us about the importance of 2nd Amendment. And how do we reach more young Americans to understand and value it as you do?

Our guest today is Rob Canterbury. Rob is the American First, Constitutional Conservative candidate for Arizona Maricopa County Board of Supervisors in District 4, currently held by Clint Hickman. Rob grew up on a farm hunting, fishing, camping, gardening, and gaining a deep understanding of the conservation of our natural resources and many other great lifelong lessons. Rob retired from a distinguished career in the Navy after Serving for 20 years in Naval Special Warfare units. Rob currently works in the private security industry and serves as the Sergeant-at-Arms for both the Maricopa County Republican Committee and the Arizona GOP. 1) It is rare when a County Board of Supervisors makes national headlines, but in AZ, in Maricopa County, after the last two elections people across the country have heard a lot about the work that a Board of Supervisors does...or is supposed to do. Give us a quick civics lesson – what is the function of the MCBOS? 2) Why have you decided to toss your name in the hat and campaign for the Board? 3) In the last AZ election we ended up with a very anti-gun Governor. However, people in our audience might be wondering how the MSBOS might impact gun-rights? 4) What are the other important issues that the MCBOS impacts and how? 5) You are for implementing term limits for the MCBOS. Our guest today is Michele Steeb. Michele is the author of "Answers Behind The RED DOOR: Battling the Homeless Epidemic" In 2006, Michele joined a struggling shelter for homeless women and children and transformed it into one of the nation’s beacons of success by actively addressing and overcoming the root causes of their homelessness. Her written work has been published in the Washington Post, USA Today, Newsweek, and the New York Post. And now Michele is an Independent Women's Forum Visiting Fellow. 1) Talk to us about how tackling the Homelessness issue became a passion for you? 2) You wrote a book on homelessness, called Answers Behind the Red Door: Battling the Homeless Epidemic. What is the meaning behind the title, and what led you to write it? 3) Your book talks a lot about the underlying issues of homelessness. What does this mean? What are they? -The nexus between our issues is freedom and what happens to people when we restrict it. Homelessness policy under a sweeping change instituted by the Obama Administration straightjackets the homeless in dependency. The org Michele built and her life's work since is about creating policy that liberates the homeless to become all they are designed to be. 4) In the last decade, homelessness has become a major issue for our country. Do you agree, and if so, why? 5) Why has California been particularly hard hit? 6) Portland and Seattle, in addition to San Francisco and Los Angeles, also seem to be overwhelmed by these issues. Why? 7) I have seen mixed reports on homelessness among families. HUD often reports that it is going down, but I see other articles referencing a stark rise in family homelessness. Why? 8) What do you hope to accomplish during your Visiting Fellowship with IWF?

Our guest today is Scott Prior. Scott Prior is a competitive shooter with a YouTube channel called Scooter’s Brass, and the current president of the Arizona Chapter of the Liberal Gun Club. Scott believes that the Constitution is not a partisan document and that every American deserves equal protections under the law. He also believes that the ‘gun control’ crowd needs to start focusing on the causes of violence, instead of trying to manipulate and create gun laws that will be ineffective against gun violence. 1) How do we bridge the gap between left and right 2A supporters? 2) In pop culture (films, music videos, TV Shows) guns are often grievously mishandled, setting a terrible example for inexperienced and untrained people to follow. You have mentioned that there are ways to broadcast positive gun events on TV and social media platforms. Talk so us about that. 3) Violence has been with us since the dawn of Man. If there is a true solution to violence, it isn’t to make one person less able to protect him or herself. But, what can we do to examine the root causes – the why of gun violence, not the tool of gun violence?

Our guest today is Adam Winch. Adam is the founder and owner of Defenders USA, and also the owner of Crosswind Precision Marksmanship Academy (CPMA). Defenders is an armed and unarmed defense training company and CPMA is a long range / sniper training company. Adam and his highly skilled team have trained tens of thousands of people, ranging from civilians, military, and law enforcement personnel in order to offer good and moral citizens the opportunity to develop the same training and mental-emotional heart-sets he'd developed during his service as a law enforcement officer. 1) What caused you to start a defensive training company and why are you specific in not calling it a "firearms training" company? 2) What forms of training do you and Defenders USA offer? 3) Above and beyond the training itself, what is one of the main overarching themes you and Defenders USA emphasize? 4) What should one expect if attending your training? 5) We hear so many stories from people who realize the need for training because they encountered a dangerous situation. Would you say that most of your students are being proactive or are they reacting to something that happened in their lives?

He is a world-recognized expert on guns and crime and the author of a number of books including "More Guns, Less Crime" and his latest "The War On Guns: Arming Yourself Against Gun Control Lies". 1) People who want more legal restrictions on Responsibly Armed Citizens have been peddling the phrase “Guns are the leading cause of death in children”. You recently posted some research results that show that to be a false claim. Let’s dig into the reasons why that is false. - Some reports use stats for ages 3-24 - there is a spike in the ages of 15-16 and particularly for black males - reports use all deaths involving firearms (including suicides and justifiable self-defense homicides) 2) We all want to save lives and make our communities safer. The Gun-Control Advocates claim that raising the age of gun-ownership to 21 will be the magic to do just that. Based on your research, will that change in the law really save lives? 3) California Governor Newsom is pushing for an Amendment to the US Constitution to restrict Gun Rights. Does his proposal make any sense to the stated goal of saving lives? • Raising the federal minimum age to purchase a firearm from 18 to 21 • Mandating universal background checks • Instituting a waiting period for all gun purchases • Barring civilian purchase of “assault weapons” 4) You recently testified at a Texas House Select Committee offering compelling information about how to effectively protect our schools – and that armed staff will save lives because they are the true immediate responders – and the Legislators simply ignored the facts and instead attacked your character. How important is it to speak up as you did even in the face of insult? 5) You made an interesting wager recently...asking Gun-Control activists to put their money where their theories are. Talk to us about that. - If Brazil’s Firearm Ban Is So Great, Why Won’t Gun-Control Activists Bet On It?

Mike’s campaign to become Maricopa County Sheriff is a culmination of a lifetime of experience and Service. 1) There is so much evidence that the Federal Government has weaponized the DOJ and other three-letter agencies against the Citizens.
