Dr Patrick Laude is a scholar, author, teacher and a professor of religious studies at Georgetown University in Qatar. He is one of the great authorities of our time on Perennial Philosophy.Professor Laude's teachings and interests encompass comparative mysticism, poetry and Western representations and interpretations of Asian spiritual and wisdom traditions, with a focus on contemporary spiritual figures including Louis Massignon, Henry Corbin, and Frithjof Schuon. He has extended his work on the writings of Frithjof Schuon by editing several new editions of Schuon’s books. In this dialogue with Reza, Dr Laude shares with us some of his insights and wisdom as regards the teachings of Frithjof Schuon. Our third speaker on the Launch Event is Abdu Gazzar. He is taking us on a spiritual journey of Prophets and Saints where he shows how Al-Khidr (The Green Man) is connected to them and how he is portrayed in Islam and particularly in Sufism.

At Cafe Sol in Glastonbury, Hugh Le Prevost, a historian, researcher, lecturer and a bit of an artist, shares with us his own interpretation, with his amazing storytelling dramatic character, of the marvelous medieval tale of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight.

 James from New Zealand living now in Glastonbury, speaking from his own experience about his time in the UK, having just arrived back in March 2020. He is discussing with Reza the pandemic and furlough scheme and how it compared with New Zealand.

Guy, who studied alchemy under the guidance of the Philosophers of Nature and Manfred Junius, is telling us the story of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight from an alchemical prospective.
