I look at the story of the Colorado DOT sending out a fake message about a mudslide that never happened just to get the traffic apps to reroute traffic off a road the DOT didn’t want drivers using. They partnered with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation to look at the condition of the roads in 20 major US Cities. The interesting part of this study, more than just the data is the new way they collected the data.
