Can the Dolphins get a pass rush without blitzing? That is the million-dollar question right now that may solve many of the Fins' issues on that side of the ball. Also, Terron Armstead's contract makes it virtually impossible to move on from for a few years; we examine how Miami got into this mess. And we talk about why Liam Eichenberg just needs to go....be let go. Ep 293Humbled By Buffalo (Bills Review)
Well, that wasn't what we wanted to see at all, was it? With an opportunity to make a massive statement, the Miami Dolphins went to Buffalo and instead found themselves on the receiving end of a statement being made by the home team. The Dolphins were beaten 48-20 and the game probably wasn't even as close as the score makes it sound. The Dolphins' defense was repeatedly exposed by Josh Allen, Stefon Diggs, and the rest of the Bills' offense. On offense, the Dolphins' shorthanded offensive line failed to cope with Buffalo's pass rush and found their woes exacerbated by an injury to Terron Armstead in the second quarter. Once again, the Dolphins found that their Plan A was disrupted and failed to adequately adapt. After perhaps glossing over their shortcomings because the results allowed it, the Dolphins must now face and address the issues that Buffalo exposed so that they can get back on track and prevent the kind of spiral they've experienced so many times before. Aaron and Josh are back to discuss the game and the fallout. Is it all doom and gloom? Find out on THE SAME OLD DOLPHINS SHOW at DOLPHINSTALK.COM!

And to close the show, Tom discusses the Miami Dolphins defense, the mess it is right now, and what can be done to fix the problems. —All this and more on this episode of the DolphinsTalk.com Podcast.

It was a four-quarter butt-kicking as the Bills got out to an early lead and kept pouring it on. We talk about the big plays from this game and go over who played well and who didn't. We talk about if the problems on defense are "fixable" or if this will be an ongoing problem for the rest of the season. We discuss what this means moving forward inside the AFC East and look ahead to Miami's next opponent, the NY Giants. -all this and more on this episode of the DolphinsTalk.com Post-Game Wrap-Up Show.

The Miami Dolphins defeated the New England Patriots with a workmanlike effort and, in a lot of ways, it was very good to see. We talk about the hard-partying players on that Giants team, the relationship between Lawrence Taylor and head coach Bill Belichick, and LT not wanting to go to the Giants on the eve of the draft. We talk about Belichick's role with the team, how he doesn't like talking about LT's off-the-field issues, and how five team players contemplated suicide after their playing career. We also discuss why they won the Super Bowl in 1986 but came short of making the playoffs and finished under .500 in 1987. As well as the former Giants head coach loaning out over $4 million to former players who played for him and why he does that.
Ep 261Dolphins Outgun Chargers!
There are simultaneously no words and not enough words to describe the Dolphins' 36-34 victory over the Chargers in Week 1 of the 2023 NFL season. Missing their best offensive lineman and one of their elite CBs and on a night where their defense had an absolutely dismal performance and were basically torn apart by the Chargers offensive line, the Miami Dolphins dug down deep. Led by Tua Tagovailoa, Tyreek Hill, and Mike McDaniel, they simply outgunned the Los Angeles Chargers and came home with what could only be described as an enormous statement win. Not to jump to any conclusions, but some of the hallmarks of a championship team are snatching victory from the jaws of defeat and finding ways to win when you're not clicking on all cylinders. The Dolphins did just that on both accounts. It was, frankly, a championship caliber win. Aaron & Josh share their reactions and break it down on a very upbeat episode of THE SAME OLD DOLPHINS SHOW at DolphinsTalk.com!

On today’s DolphinsTalk.com Podcast, Mike is back with a BONUS SHOW this week to talk about this weekend's game between Miami and the LA Chargers.
