Hear who gets the A's and B's and which position group got a D grade. Then, for the show's second part, Mike talks about the feedback to the Post Game Wrap-Up Show this past weekend after the loss to Kansas City and why some listeners are taking things a bit too far. He explains what this Podcast Network is, what it isn't, and why all football fans need to be better at civil football discussions and not fall into the trap of shouting each other down and attacking people who disagree with you. —All this and more on this episode of the DolphinsTalk.com Podcast.
Ep 346DolphinsTalk Miami Dolphins Midseason Roundtable Show
Today’s DolphinsTalk.com Podcast is our annual Miami Dolphins Midseason Roundtable Show, where all your favorite DolphinsTalk.com Podcasters are together to discuss the Dolphins at the midway point of the 2023 season. Mike, Tom, Ian, Josh, and Aaron the Brain discuss the Dolphins' 6-3 start, what has gone right, what has gone wrong, and what is the one thing that needs to be corrected for this team to be considered a "contender." They discuss Mike McDaniel, Tua, Vic Fangio, and the Dolphins' defense, plus which players have surprised and disappointed through 9 games. They close the show with a speed round of some rapid-fire questions, and everyone gets a chance to amend their Super Bowl prediction that they made back in August. —All this and more on this episode of the DolphinsTalk.com Podcast.
Ep 345Not There Yet (Chiefs Review)
Once again the Miami Dolphins had an opportunity to change the narrative surrounding them and demand to be taken seriously as a contender and once again they fell short. This time it was a woeful first half and series of self-inflicted wounds that ended up costing them. Bad playcalling, poor execution, and sloppy penalties were most of the cause, though credit should be given to Kansas City's defense, which disrupted the Dolphins' timing. The Dolphins would eventually play themselves back into the game behind a stellar effort from their defense, but when you dig yourself a hole, you give yourself little to no margin for error and the errors were quite prominent on their final two offensive snaps. Aaron and Josh are here to react, respond, and provide some copium for a very emotional fan base that still finds itself heading into the bye week, in spite of a rough Sunday morning, cheering for the team in first place in the AFC East. Join us for THE SAME OLD DOLPHINS SHOW here at DolphinsTalk.com!

On today’s DolphinsTalk.com Podcast, Mike is joined by Teacher Mary Martinez, the South Florida teacher, who has gone viral the past few months as she is using Tyreek Hill's receiving yards each game to help teach her 3rd-grade students math. Mary discusses the attention this has gotten both online and with the Dolphins organization and how the Dolphins have been supportive, giving her class tickets, t-shirts, and a personal message from Bradley Chubb. We then talk a little football, and Mary gives us her thoughts on the Dolphins 2023 season and how far she thinks they can go. —All this and more on this episode of the DolphinsTalk.com Podcast.

On today’s DolphinsTalk.com Podcast, Mike is joined by Jason Sarney of Dolfans Weekly to talk about all of the latest news in the world of the Miami Dolphins. They begin by talking about this new narrative out there around the Dolphins that they are somehow "frauds" because they haven't beaten a good team yet. They talk about whether this is a fair analysis, whether it is true, and why people are calling any teams frauds in October. They also talk about the news from Monday that the Dolphins will appear on in-season Hard Knocks, and Mike asks the question, why are Dolphins fans upset about this? Ep 321Post Game Wrap Up Show: Dolphins Lose to Eagles
On today’s DolphinsTalk.com Post Game Wrap-Up Show, Mike and Tom break down Miami's loss vs the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday Night football. The Dolphins' defense came to play and put up a strong performance, but the offensive line for the Fins was missing three starters, and it showed as they struggled to block the Eagles' front 7. The refs were another big story in this game as the Dolphins were called for over ten penalties, and the Eagles were called for none, and Mike and Tom break that down. Ep 312Dolphins Blow Out Panthers!
Another Sunday, another very comfortable Miami Dolphins victory. Of course, it didn't start out that way. The Dolphins came out uncharacteristically flat and allowed the Carolina Panthers to jump out to a 14-0 first quarter lead. After that, though, normal service was resumed as the Dolphins put up 35 straight points led by Tua Tagovailoa, Tyreek Hill, and Raheem Mostert before Mike White threw a garbage time pick six. They still weren't done, as Salvon Ahmed ran in a touchdown to finish off a 42-21 Dolphins win. Where does this leave the Dolphins? On today’s DolphinsTalk.com Post Game Wrap-Up Show, Mike and Tom break down Miami's 42-21 victory over the Carolina Panthers. Mike and Josh talk about whether it makes sense to put Achane on IR and have him miss at least four games or if they should just have him be inactive each week and. hopefully have him back sooner than four weeks. Plus, they talk about the splash Achane has made on the NFL scene this season in a short amount of time and why this injury is a blow to the Miami Dolphins offense. They look at Jeff Wilson's return from IR coming at the perfect time, look at Miami's upcoming schedule, and point out the games where Achane will be missed.—All this and more on this BREAKING NEWS EDITION of the DolphinsTalk.com Podcast.

Ep 303Takin’ Care of Business (Giants Review)
Well, that was much more like it from your Miami Dolphins. The defense performed as you would have expected against Daniel Jones and the beat up Giants offensive line: they registered 8 sacks and did not allow a touchdown. The offense was once again pretty stellar, accumulating 524 total yards and besting the 2000 St. Louis Rams for most total yards through the first five games of a season. That's not to say it was a perfect performance, with the Dolphins turning it over 3 times thanks to a De'Von Achane fumble and a pair of avoidable Tua Tagovailoa interceptions. But despite those less than stellar moments, it was a game where you never really felt like the result was in doubt. Aaron and Josh are back to discuss the game and the fallout (OMG IS ACHANE HURT?! WTF?!?!?!) on another episode of THE SAME OLD DOLPHINS SHOW at DolphinsTalk.com!

Ep 301Post Game Wrap Up Show: Miami Runs Over Giants
On today’s DolphinsTalk.com Post Game Wrap-Up Show, Mike and Tom break down Miami's win over the NY Giants today, 31-13. The Dolphins didn't play a picture-perfect game, but even so, they found a way to score more than 30 points and come away with an easy win. De'Von Achan continues to show why he is quickly becoming the leader for offensive rookie of the year with another 100+ yard rushing day and a touchdown. Mostert had a nice day, adding a touchdown as Miami as a team ran the ball for over 200 yards. Tua had a couple of poor decisions that led to interceptions and points for the Giants, but for the most part, overall, it was a workman-like ho-hum victory that put Miami back in 1st place with the Bills loss. We give out our game balls, talk about next week's game vs Carolina, and discuss the report Miami may use Chase Claypool as a tight end. -all this and more on this episode of the DolphinsTalk.com Post-Game Wrap-Up Show.
