If you listened to Episode 257, you heard tonight's guest, Roy Stubblefield, talk about the encounter he and several other men had in Metairie, Louisianna several years ago. One of the men, named Herman, tripped and fell on his back, during that encounter and found himself face to face with the 9-foot tall Dogman that charged them. When we recorded Episode 257, Roy didn't know how well or poorly Herman had been able to deal with that experience, because he didn't keep in touch with him. The Daniel Boone National Forest (originally the Cumberland National Forest) is located in South Central Kentucky. The terrain of the forest is generally rugged, with multiple prominent water features. Tonight’s guest wishes to remain anonymous. Instead of revealing his real name, he’s going to go by the name Kyle on tonight’s show. “Kyle” had his first Dogman encounter while coon (raccoon) hunting, with his dogs, Jake and Bo, in the Daniel Boone, on October 1st, of 2003. His encounter is one of the most intense ones an eyewitness has shared here, on the show. As if it wasn’t bad enough that he had that encounter, it wasn’t to be his last. When he was 10, his mother married a cattle farmer who had problems with Dogmen on his farm. There were things Ryan’s stepfather shared with him about the Dogmen openly. Tonight's guest, Paul Levins, dedicated 20 years of his life to the U.S. Army. While he was in the Army, he served as a paratrooper and worked in reconnaissance. Tonight’s guest, Dakota, had his first Dogman encounter when he was 12. A year later, almost to the day, he had his second. Unlike most eyewitnesses, though, Dakota describes his encounters as being positive in nature, instead of negative. Why does he feel that way about them? How did his encounters play out, you ask? Tonight’s guest, Elizabeth, didn’t have many friends when she was growing up. Instead of spending time at a friend’s house, she spent a lot of time exploring the huge woods that surrounded her home in rural Missouri. One day when she was 6, she suddenly felt like she was being watched. After carefully checking out the woods around her, she realized that a creature, which she thought was a giant red wolf, was watching her. It wasn’t a red wolf, though. It was a Dogman that Elizabeth would later refer to as Balto. Elizabeth’s first few encounters with Balto were pretty uneventful. He didn’t act menacing in any of those early encounters.
