Baptism, Confirmation For Those Who Transition The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints allows for certain transgender individuals to be baptized and confirmed. However, if a transgender individual is living a life of surgical or social transition, then there are church restrictions in place which include temple recommends, temple ordinances, priesthood ordination, exercising the priesthood, and some callings.
