Ep 570056: Gundam Hathaway Review
The day has finally come - Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway has arrived in the USA! We dive in to see if the film lived up to the hype that's been building since 1989. Hathaway becomes Mafty despite a bone-chilling warning from an old friend. Gigi Andalucia really is the sharpest tool in the shed even if she is down for the Count. Kenneth is vain and without shame, but he knows the way to a girl's heart is through EFF standard issue hot cocoa. Just how many boats can Hathaway take in one day? Are all mobile suits in UC 0105 extra thicc or is it just us? Finally, we swap stories about Jollibee.

Ep 560055: Gundam Comedies
Why are Gundam comedies so scarce? Do fans even want a Gundam comedy series? If Sunrise put you in charge of a Gundam comedy, what would your pitch be? We think the Gundam universes are ready for a full blown comedy series and present our ideas: Anaheim Crime Time, Gundam Battle Feast, and Propaganda 0079. We also philosophize about barbecue.
Ep 550054: MS IGLOO 2: The Gravity Front Review
We travel with the Earth Federation forces to The Gravity Front where our MS IGLOO journey reaches its conclusion. As if Barberry's job in the anti-mobile suit tactical squad wasn't already the worst, an angel of Death straight out of Final Fantasy XLII shows up to collect his soul. Type 61 savant Yandell gets his revenge on Zeon's White Ogre with math, but not even the man with a plan can escape Death (or RPGs). Arleen and her squadron of headless Guntanks of the apocalypse destroy everything in their path to find their nemesis, Steamy McTraitor aka Honeypot Joe - but even there, Death awaits. You might say Death really killed these episodes. Anyone seen Oliver May?
Ep 540053: Gundam SEED Project Ignited
Gundam SEED Project Ignited promises a new anime film, video game, and manga series all set in the Cosmic Era! Isaac wants more Blue Cosmos but foresees pink METEORs, Brian wants Batman and space whales, and Yzak sees red and goes full Zala. Tekkaman Blade and the Xi Gundam had a baby and named it the Eclipse Gundam... and it looks fantastic. Then we accidentally rant about SEED Destiny's Doms. For the preservation of our blue and pure world!
Ep 530052: MS IGLOO: Apocalypse 0079 Review
We continue our review of MS IGLOO with the second entry in the series: Apocalypse 0079! Despite Zeon's mounting losses, Lt. Oliver May and the Jotunheim crew test an anti-ship "mobile diver" that's just as crazy as it sounds, a mobile pod capable of going toe-to-toe with the Federation Balls, and a mobile armor with a whole lot of junk in the trunk Plus, Isaac earns a medal for his research into Dom thiccness and contracts sudden onset depression when Brian reveals Herbert Von Kuspen's fate. And.. Aguille Delaz, is that you fleeing from A Baoa Qu?
Ep 520051: The UC NexT 0100 Project: Hathaway Delayed, Unicorn 2, and F91 Lives
Bad news: Hathaway has been delayed again (Isaac already has a call in to the Emperor). Good news: Gundam producer Naohiro Ogata dropped some low-key bombshells about what's next for the UC NexT 0100 Project! More Unicorn appears likely and with it Zeon's dissolution. We doubt Mineva makes it out alive when the Cuffs attack Banagher's upgraded Gundam Pegacorn (can you visualize all the Gunpla??). What's your prediction? And finally, the road to F91 is acknowledged... does this mean F90 in animation someday? The future is bright, Universal Century fans!
Ep 510050: MS IGLOO: The Hidden One Year War Review
We join Oliver May's weapon testing team on the Jotunheim to kick off our review of MS IGLOO! Today's episode is all about the first entry in the series: The Hidden One Year War. In a world where capital ships can turn on a dime and Degwin gives pep talks, Char decides to get dramatic. The tic-tac popping pilot of the Hildolfr is the guy she told the Guntank not to worry about. And when Zeon's Odessa escape plan goes awry (was there actually a plan?), a phantom suit saves the day despite its pilot getting the crazy eyes and Bureaucrat McMonocle withholding information.
Ep 500049: Series Pitch: Chrono Gundam
Isaac pitches his idea for a time traveling Gundam series! An accident during a Federation testing exercise in 0080 sends the Chrono Gundam and its crew through alternate Universal Century timelines as they struggle to get home. Among all the enemies they will encounter - Amuro the Titan, Gihren Zabi the cursed, Cecily the victor, and Angel Halo the end of all things - could their greatest foe be... themselves?
Ep 490048: Gundam SEED Review Part IV
The battle of Jachin Due rages on as we conclude our review of the fan favorite series Mobile Suit Gundam SEED. Rau plays Proto Man to Kira's Mega Man as their secret histories are revealed! Ramius and Natarle FIRE at each other, resulting in the series' climactic triple bounce. Azrael may be a maniac... but he's right about GENESIS? Plus, ZAFT hates elephants, a nameless personal assistant saves the world, Yzak is still a jerk, and they keep trying to make Kira x Flay happen. For the preservation of our blue and pure world!
Ep 480047: Gundam Live-Action Film Heads to Netflix
We discuss the recent bombshell news that Legendary is bringing the live-action Gundam film to Netflix! This has our minds racing: Are all anime to live-action adaptations doomed? Is the director a Gundam fan? Is it even possible to fit the One Year War into a two hour film? Will there be a montage? Will being made for Netflix impact the budget? Should a Gundam film be set in our timeline? Brian K Vaughn and John Vogt Roberts - you have our heat hawks, do us proud.
Ep 470046: Gundam SEED Review Part III
We launch toward Jachin Due to begin the back half of our Gundam SEED review! Isaac opens his Blue Cosmos HQ to answer all of Brian's questions. Does SEED have an acronym problem? Are coordinators really all that great or were naturals just using Windows 95? Is Patrick Zala a vengeful chef? Would you eat Junius 7 rock candy? Is Lakoose more like Cardi B or Billie Eilish? Plus, Mwu finally docks with Ramius, Lord Izumi is an idiot, and Rau channels his inner Char with Flay. Launch the Dominion! For the preservation of our blue and pure world!
Ep 460045: Top Five Gundam Ending Songs
We count down our top five favorite ending songs across all the Gundam universes! Saxes are underrated (or are they?), G Gundam gets through on a technicality, and both of our top choices turn out to be stunners. Plus, Isaac creates his own ending theme - The Dom Song! Let's sing all together now, Amuro Furimukanaide~~~
Ep 450044: News & Merch: Gundam Build Real, Hathaway, & the Mk V
A new live-action Gundam series appears out of nowhere... it's Gundam Build Real! Plus, Isaac's archenemy returns in the newest MSG Hathaway trailer (also featuring Xi vs. Penelope action)! And look at all this cool new(ish?) merchandise - a replica of Char's helmet, the Zeon grunts finally get their articulated due, and the leader of the New Desides takes his rebellion to the Master Grade scale!
Ep 440043: Gundam SEED Review Part II
We conclude our review of the first half of Gundam SEED by discussing the characters, the mecha, and whether the show holds up compared to our memories. Kira is Jesus, Mwu is chill, Flay has no chill, Rau has a magic map, Athrun is a bad boyfriend, and deep down Yzak is just mad he got the boring Gundam. In a surprise twist, Isaac allies not with Zeon ZAFT but with the Earth Alliance in order to preserve our blue and pure world! Better send some GOOhNs to correct his attitude!
Ep 430042: Gundam SEED Review Part I
Can you believe Gundam SEED is almost 20 years old?! We dust off our phase shift armor to see how the series holds up and to try out the new dub. We begin our review by tackling the first half's plot. Is Ramius an unnecessary hostage-taker? Who is Lakoose and what did she do with Lacus? Is Kira a bully for beating up some Zoids? Did George "Definitely Not John" Glenn steal a Jupitris-class from the UC? For the preservation of our blue and pure world!
Ep 420041: Top Five Gundam Opening Songs
Join us as we count down our top five opening songs across all Mobile Suit Gundam timelines! Our journey includes discussing if the saxophone is dead, SEED(D)'s top notch bounce physics, our charity idea for orphans (iron-blooded, perhaps?), and 1980s space rock. With our top five on record, we arrive at a critical question that needs your input - who should sing the theme song for the Gundam live action film?
Ep 410040: Char’s Counterattack Review Part II
We conclude our review of the climactic 1988 film, Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack. On this episode, Char defeats his own plan, the Alpha Azieru is designed by the Death Star engineers, and Zeon unapologetically uses the color blurple. We also discuss the mobile suits, our head canon for the cyber newtype enhancement process, and whether the film sticks the landing.
Ep 400039: Char’s Counterattack Review Part I
We review Char's Counterattack - the theatrical film released in 1988 that served as the conclusion to the original Mobile Suit Gundam story. Featuring the final, knock-down-drag-out duel between Amuro Ray and Char Aznable, this film is densely packed with annoying teenagers, gold bars (the currency of the future!), mystery pasta, newtype space magic, and even a Mexican standoff that would make Tarantino proud. The DVD sleeve was pretty sweet too. RIP Astonaige Medoz, you magnificent mechanic.
Ep 390038: Mail Call #2: ZZ Dub, Gunpla, Video Games, and More!
You filled up the mailbag again so we're clearing it out! Should the UC NexT 0100 project steer clear of newtype kids with famous parents? Should the Federation have taken the Gundam away from Amuro? Plus, we discuss the lost ZZ dub, the 30 Minute Mission Kits, Gundam Battle Operation 2, the G-Generation series, and the entire development history of the Neue Ziel - from the Zero GR to the Alpha Azieru!
Ep 380037: Mobile Fighter Ideas
We present our ideas for new Mobile Fighters in advance of the Future Century's next Gundam Fight! On the way, we answer the hard hitting questions, such as what Mobile Fighter(s) does the Vatican have up its holy robe sleeves? Is Neo North Korea's itchy launch finger to blame for the Earth Chaos War? Did humanity really think Neo Antarctica's penguins wouldn't be out for revenge? We look forward to hearing your Mobile Fighter ideas in the future!
Ep 370036: The Gundam Movie vs. COVID-19: Who Will Survive?
Is COVID-19 endangering the Gundam live action movie? No one really knows, but we doubt even newtypes are immune to the virus' economic wrath. On a more positive note - MSG is now available to stream (legally)! And, the new SEED dub has arrived but with a few caveats you should know about. This episode now with more ASMR.
Ep 360035: Gundam F91 Review Part II
We conclude our review of the wild ride that is Mobile Suit Gundam F91! The VSBR is thicc, the bugs are terrifying WMDs, Zabine is a badass, Karozo is a weirdo, and Meitzer is... either senile or playing some great 3D chess. This is only the beginning! (Narrator: It was also the end) Cecily!!
Ep 350034: Gundam F91 Review Part I
We arrive at a pivotal point in our UC NexT 0100 journey: Gundam F91 - the film that was supposed to launch a post-Zeon saga in 1991. In part one of our review, we discuss F91's problems in context, the Ronah family's on-screen dysfunction and off-screen history, and how nothing Cecily does makes any sense. CECILY! (if you know, you know)
Ep 340033: The Gundam Holiday Special 2020
In perhaps our wackiest episode yet, we present our ideas for holiday themed mobile suits. This inevitably leads to the creation of a plot for our very own Gundam Holiday Special! Happy New Year, everybody!
Ep 330032: Next Five Gunpla Projects
We count down our next five Gunpla (Gundam Model) projects! From heroic Doms to hover trucks, from octahedrons to... watermelons? We've got our work cut out for ourselves. What are your next Gunpla builds, kitbashes, customs, etc.? We want to know!
Ep 320031: Gundam F91: Formula Wars 0122 Review
Our UC NexT 0100 journey continues! We play through the well known and immensely popular Super Famicom game titled Mobile Suit Gundam F91: Formula Wars 0122 released only in Japan in 1991. Join us as we witness Bergh Scred, the Federation's best pilot you've never heard of, stomp a mudhole in Mars Zeon and walk it dry!
Ep 310030: Gundam Video Games Part II
We finish off our rundown of Gundam video games you might enjoy. This week we cover a game that features the Devil Gundam coming to our universe to kill us all, a game that let's you play as a Zeon special forces unit with the coolest name ever, and a series that allows you to choose the outcome... even if it leads to Tem Ray's AI taking over the Earth sphere!
Ep 300029: Gundam Video Games Part I
We discuss which of the 200+ Mobile Suit Gundam video games out there that you might want to play. In part one, we cover the game with the highest rating but maybe not the best spelling, the game with the best worst superweapon involving unstoppable plants, and the game that is unquestionably the GOAT of true mobile suit combat immersion - Bonds of the Battlefield!
Ep 290028: Gundam Silhouette Formula 91 Review
We go back to 1992 for a second helping of Formula flavored manga with Silhouette Formula 91 in UC 0123. Will it taste as sweet as F90...? Despite a classic cast of unforgettable top-tier characters like Logical Layla, Master Kevin, Bureaucrat McMystery, and a guy named Baz, the character that rose to the top was none other than Elizabeth (any answer besides Subit is wrong). Buckle up for this bumpy ride.
Ep 280027: Mail Call #1: UC NexT 0100, Gundam Live Action Film, and More!
We answer your questions and discuss your comments on the UC NexT 0100 Project, the upcoming live action film, nefarious newtype overlords, and more!
Ep 270026: Gundam F90 Review
We're going on a UC NexT 0100 journey to prepare ourselves for what lies ahead. Our first stop is Gundam F90 from all the way back in 1990! Join us as we recap and discuss this gem of a prologue to Gundam F91, including the reveal that stunned us both, Zeon's shoddy engineering, and the 84 ton rock floating through space.
Ep 260025: Capital Ships of the One Year War Part II
We conclude our discussion on capital ships of the One Year War. In this episode, we uncover Degwin's unwritten rule of naming your Gwazine class, solve the long-standing mystery of why Zeon let Gato ignore hairstyle regulations, and decide which Pegasus class warship looks the best. Oh, and the Papua and the Pazock are here too!
Ep 250024: Capital Ships of the One Year War Part I
We discuss the capital ships of the One Year War! In part one, the Musai is iconic, the Dolos is Gihren's arrogance left unchecked, and the Chivvay is too thicc for the Federation to handle.
Ep 240023: The 08th MS Team Review Part II
As we finish off our review of The 08th MS Team, we wonder: Are all Gouf pilots good guys at heart? Are there a lot of Rositas in South East Asia? Why does the Apsalus have such a tiny head? And the moment you've been waiting for... we talk about the Zaku Tank!
Ep 230022: The 08th MS Team Review Part I
We review one of the best side stories of all time: Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08 MS Team! In part one, we discuss Zeon pilots' inability to keep their cockpits closed, why Aina may have the worst luck of any test pilot ever, and the little known fact that Zakus have weak groins. Also, Ryer is a jerk.
Ep 220021: Designing a Gundam Theme Park
Bandai and Sunrise have given you a blank check to design a Gundam theme park. What would you create? From a Federation parade with a Zeon ambush to Domon's Dojo, we share our ideas for attractions, live shows, merch, rides, and more!
Ep 210020: We Need a Gundam Mario Kart
We pitch our concept for a Gundam video game based on Mario Kart. How does this game not exist yet? You know you would play it!
Ep 200019: The UC NexT 0100 Project, Retcons, and Zeon Turns... Good?
Could a retcon be coming to the Universal Century timeline via the UC NexT 0100 Project? Probably not.... BUT, if a retcon did happen, could we avoid repetitive Zeon uprising plots by bringing back... Zeon? In Princess Mineva we trust!
Ep 190018: Superweapons: Universal Century
We break down the superweapons of the Universal Century. From staples like the Solar Ray and colony drops, to lesser known evils like overgrown plants and robotic bugs. What would your superweapon be? Isaac shoots for the moon while Brian pilots the Gray Goondam!
Ep 180017: The Origin Review Part II
We conclude our review of Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin. The Zabis prove they are the worst family but the best villains, Amuro and Fraw are home alone after school, and the Zaku II steals the show. Who will survive?
Ep 170016: The Origin Review Part I
We kick off our review of Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin by tackling the hard-hitting topics like what was that medieval knight doing at the castle? Does General Revil run like a penguin? Why were those Guncannons so embarrassing?
Ep 160015: Top Five Gundam Anime Series
We count down our top five favorite Gundam anime series across all timelines. At least one series from every decade made the cut, but unfortunately G-Saviour did not. Also, Isaac tries to do the Zaku mono-eye sound.
Ep 150014: Colony Drops Part II: Alternate Timelines
In part two of our colony drop episode, we discuss the drops from all of Gundam's alternate timelines (non-Universal Century). Nine billion people think the 7th Space War was no joke, Dekim Barton just can't get it done, and who knew a PLANT could be so deadly?

Ep 140013: Colony Drops Part I: Universal Century
It's finally time for our namesake episode! In part one, we discuss the colony drops in Gundam's Universal Century timeline. From Operation British, the granddaddy of them all, to Operation Stardust, or as we like to call it, Operation Gihren is Handsome, we've got it covered!

Ep 130012: Space Colonies
We discuss the different types of space colonies seen in the various Gundam universes. From the O'Neill cylinder to the Stanford torus - we've got you covered! What type of colony would you live in? Hint: Don't choose the PLANTs!

Ep 120011: Iron-Blooded Orphans Season 2 Review Part II
We conclude our review of Iron Blooded Orphans Season 2 by discussing the characters of Gjallarhorn and the mobile suits - what a ride! In this episode we ask the hard questions: Do you like mobile suits that wear stilettos? Just how many Dainsleives does Rustal have? Is Master Moo the real pilot of Gundam Bael?

Ep 110010: Iron-Blooded Orphans Season 2 Review Part I
We loved the first season of Iron Blooded Orphans so much that we are back for season two! Part one of our review tackles the story and the characters of Tekkadan and Teiwaz. Rest in peace... basically everyone. Did somebody say Cannoli Gundam? Minovsky cream, fire!

Ep 100009: What If...? Amuro Gets the Alex? Could Zeon have Won the OYW?
In our first What If...? episode, we discuss two scenarios: What if the Gundam Alex was successfully delivered to Amuro Ray before the end of the OYW? And, how could Zeon have achieved victory in the OYW? We also talk in French accents - Vive Le Gundam!

In this episode we cover everything about Gundam models aka Gunpla: history, scales, grades, beginner tips, Gunpla's future, and our own pet projects. We also talk in Australian accents for a bit - Crikey! The White Dingo Team is at it again!

Ep 80007: Iron-Blooded Orphans Season 1 Review Part II
We wrap up our series review of Iron-Blooded Orphans season one by discussing the mobile suits and our likes/dislikes. We give it 8 out of 10 Haros!
