We head back to the frontlines of the One Year War to review the 2022 film Mobile Suit Gundam: Cucuruz Doan’s Island (or Amuro’s Weekend Getaway, as Isaac calls it). The film is a cinematic side story in which Gopp hires women, M’Quve should’ve lead with the napalm, Doan teaches us how to milk a goat, Bright dual wields bridge phones, and the Jaburo propnunciation debate recurs. Plus, we miss the most important plot point (but figure it out in the end), discuss the implied morbidity of a full 0079 remake, and find evidence of The Bright Noa Academy for Gentlemanly Officers’ beginning in plain sight. We conclude our review of Suletta and Miorine's journey in The Witch from Mercury! While we were rooting hard for the show, we agree the ending didn't stick the landing (missed the airport entirely, actually) as Delling sleeps through the back half, Elan Prime's pen is mightier than a space laser, Prospera is for some reason rewarded with a Quiet life and faces almost Zero consequences, and Suletta raises her Permet score above 8 (whatever that means) for the win. After being unsatisfied with Gundam Evolution, we design our dream Gundam video game: GUNDAMFIELD! Sunset Productions spares no expenses and has no budgets! Plus, Brian's kids do an Endless Waltz of sickness and health, a WWE tangent spurs a preview of Gundam Wrestling, we ponder what the Universal Century's currency is called, and Isaac blows our your candles.

Isaac bought himself a gaming PC for Christmas, so we take the recent Gundam hero shooter video game known as Gundam Evolution for a spin. We discuss our likes, dislikes, ways we think the game can be improved, and what units we would like to see added to the roster. Our biggest takeaway - always PTFO!

Isaac woke up one morning and decided he'd had enough of antagonists embracing space fascism in Gundam. "There are just too many! They must be stopped!" he said. So we went to work solving Gundam's problem of space fascism overabundance by presenting some alternatives, including communists, cults (of various kinds), engineers, machines, migrators, monarchies, and a charismatic rebel. In our first ace pilot spotlight episode, we examine the backgrounds of two of our favorite pilots from the OYW era - Anavel Gato aka The Nightmare of Solomon and Cima Garahau aka The Mayfly of Space! Gato is so popular, his exploits at Solomon got adapted three different times, but Isaac still isn't satisfied! Gato's beam rifle was so big that Sunrise had to retcon it and give him an ugly Dom as punishment (the blue one, NOT the totally-not-a-Dom-Tropen red one). Meanwhile, Cima must have the most dedicated fans in the world given her audiodrama got a sequel 20+ years later. Where is my 1/100 scale Gerbera Tetra, Bandai?!

Is Shaddiq our Char but with poofy pants this time? We trust in Suletta to save us all

Our suicide mission aboard the Icarus comes to an end as Tobia and the rest of the Steel 7 arrive at Jupiter to destroy the colony laser. Will Tobia's X-1 Full Cloth be enough to handle the Callistos and their Dictii? Amidst the fierce battle, we ponder if Giri's Vigna Ghina II was formerly owned by Dorel Ronah, ask why Giri hates the Callistos so much (bagels are involved), agree to disagree about space geometry, and punch a hole in Rosemary's sudden profound philosophizing. Tobia rescues Twinker Bell the space princess, Seabook is on diaper duty, the Jupiter Empire comes after your mail, Amuro Ray returns as the ultimate soldier, and Harrison is attacked by a nefarious force that will drive you bananas! We conclude our journey through the animated After Colony timeline with a review of Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz! One year after the TV series, some guy we’ve never heard of named Dekim Barton comes out of nowhere hell-bent on ruining Christmas with his army of bellhops, squad of boy scouts, and a legion of Diet-Coke Heavyarms. Shockingly, the Preventers fail to prevent Barton’s machinations after the world disarms and the Gundam boys send their Gundams into the sun (except Wu-Fei who kept Gundam Naruto). Can the boys get their Gundams back in time to stop Barton and save Christmas? Relena lets Dorothy into the Sanc Kindom despite those evil eyebrows; Romefeller sticks to its strength of holding daily meetings; Treize creates Epyon only to give it away because he wants to win by losing with Space Leos; Zechs takes control of White Fang because he looks more qualified than the guy in the vest; Quinze and the Engineers explain the plot in a few lines near the end hoping you don't notice; and the Gundam boys finally come together in the end. In hindsight, the whole conflict could have been solved with just communication... Plus, we both share recent real life encounters with Gundam Wing proving that we can never escape this series' legacy!

In this TRIPLE sized episode, we review the first half of New Mobile Report Gundam Wing - the series that made the USA fall in love with Gundam way back in the year 2000! Despite an excellent premise, does the series hold up two decades later? Maybe if you really squint through those goggles... Out of all the off screen romances that are no doubt happening, we ship Trowa x Quatre and Tubarov x Mobile Dolls. Treize said a lot about war and peace, but all we took away is he hates babies and loves baths. Plus, Isaac starts his own clothing line called the Romefeller Circle and we confirm the widely held belief that the Leo is, in fact, terrible.

The series climaxes in an epic fashion as Tobia plunders Bernadette, we say farewell to the Mother Vanguard and hello to the Flints, Zabine's rage-o-meter hits critical mass during his duel with Kincade, Dogatie reveals himself to be a jerk with too many nukes, Bernadette was wrong all along, SNRI looks more like Anaheim every day, Admiral Trustworthington somehow screws up worse than Admiral Earl Grey at 0083's naval review, and Sherry saves the day. There is also a lumberjack, an ape, plenty of aquariums, more Star Wars references, and MULTIPLE terrifying mobile armors known as the Divinidads. These volumes slapped Isaac so hard he gave the series his highest score yet! The only thing these two volumes don't have is the answer to the question - whatever happened to Dorel Ronah? Seriously, Tomino, we want to know.

The women of Gundam get the spotlight today as we countdown our top five female pilots! Isaac chooses his best while Brian chooses his favorites. Although the selection is a bit sparse, we find more than enough ethereal newtypes, incognito royalty, nineties bad girls, ruthless leaders, students, turncoats, and vengeful soldiers to fill out our lists. Isaac turns out to be shockingly objective, while Brian fails at speaking French (sorry Asuna!) and demonstrates that he clearly hates Christina Mackenzie. Who's in your top five?

We resume our Crossbone voyage right where we left off - with the Mother Vanguard rammed inside Crux Dogatie's palace! But the tables quickly turn on Kincade as Crux pulls a Voldemort (or did Voldemort pull a Crux?!), Zabine leads a totally unexpected mutiny with 2x4s, and Karas borrows a grappler ship from Outlaw Star. Things go from bad to worse as we meet the sinister Death Gale Squadron and Berah's diabolical yet pint-sized cousin Sherry. As Kincade prepares to take on Zabine, Death Gale, and the entire Earth Federation, a glimmer of hope emerges when Tobia plunders a third Crossbone Gundam out from under Sherry's nose. Will Tobia make it in time? The thunder of justice for all those who defy Jupiter!

Our UC NexT 0100 journey continues as we tackle the first two volumes of the fan favorite manga series from 1994 known as Mobile Suit Crossbone Gundam! We board the reformed Crossbone Vanguard’s flagship alongside our old pals Berah Ronah and Kincade Nau (he’s Seabook but cooler), and our new pal Tobia Arronax, and set sail for the Jovian moon Io – the headquarters of Crux Dogatie and his evil Jupiter Empire! Dogatie’s forces have an aquarium, Sharkticons, Xenomorphs, and a flying lava elephant-shark, but we have pirate Gundams, anti-beam cloaks, a robotic parrot, a literal space pirate ship, and the power of friendship! So raise the anchor, lower the beam sails, fire your broadside cannons, and come join us on this Gundam fever dream adventure!

How should the Universal Century end? The question is simple but the answers are monumentally complicated. In our most depressing episode yet, we journey through the Dark History seeking the answers. We float an exodus from Earth to Mars, attempt to answer the Fermi Paradox with Gundams, and consider the entropic consequences of constant war. As this film with three names progresses at a lightning fast pace, we touch on all the hard-hitting questions as usual. Does Cima have her own harem or does her ship just have HVAC problems? Is Kou "I'd never wreck it" Uraki bad at math because he didn't get into Luna University's women only STEM program? Can Bask Om really see out of those goggles? After climaxing with a stand-off involving standard issue life cancelers, Kou goes directly to jail, does not pass Go, and does not collect his $200. What a downer. The animation was fantastic though!
