Ep 1070106: News Update: Freedom! Vengeance! Marriage?
On this episode, we catch up on the latest Gundam news from the past few months: Isaac thinks the new Requiem of Vengeance might involve the White Devil himself; the Gundam SEED movie lets us know exactly what it's about - FREEDOM (but not Justice); Bandai-Namco give their interpretation of Suletta and Miorine's "marriage." Plus, Evolution evolves straight to extinction, the Johnny Ridden manga ends, and Gundam comic kickstarter begins!
Ep 1060105: Cucuruz Doan’s Island Review
We head back to the frontlines of the One Year War to review the 2022 film Mobile Suit Gundam: Cucuruz Doan’s Island (or Amuro’s Weekend Getaway, as Isaac calls it). The film is a cinematic side story in which Gopp hires women, M’Quve should’ve lead with the napalm, Doan teaches us how to milk a goat, Bright dual wields bridge phones, and the Jaburo propnunciation debate recurs. Plus, we miss the most important plot point (but figure it out in the end), discuss the implied morbidity of a full 0079 remake, and find evidence of The Bright Noa Academy for Gentlemanly Officers’ beginning in plain sight. If you haven’t already, go see this film now!
Ep 1050104: The Witch from Mercury Review Part II
We conclude our review of Suletta and Miorine's journey in The Witch from Mercury! While we were rooting hard for the show, we agree the ending didn't stick the landing (missed the airport entirely, actually) as Delling sleeps through the back half, Elan Prime's pen is mightier than a space laser, Prospera is for some reason rewarded with a Quiet life and faces almost Zero consequences, and Suletta raises her Permet score above 8 (whatever that means) for the win. Plus, we pitch our sequels: Peil's Revenge and Shaddiq's Counterattack; and Isaac reveals his belief that clones aren't actually people!
Ep 1040103: The Witch from Mercury Review Part I
We dive into the first half of the newest (and freshest!) Gundam series: The Witch from Mercury! Join us as we discuss how Lady Prospera is an enigma wrapped in a Daughtress mask, phlebotinium has a new flavor and it's called Permet, Suletta's age just doesn't add up, convertible bonds are a trap, and bigger guns = bigger fun. Plus, in a shocking development, Jeturk Heavy Machinery hits Isaac's previously undiscovered mobile suit thiccness limit and causes him to swipe left!
Ep 1030102: Gundam Plus
Gundam is a franchise that spans almost all forms of media: anime, manga, models, music, novels, video games, and much more. So have you ever wanted a subscription service that unlocks... all of it? Well at Sunset Productions, we have and on this episode we are designing our own Gundam omni-media subscription service! From anime we've never seen to manga that is just sitting on the shelf, we discuss everything the service should include. Isaac has to keep Brian from bankrupting from the service as we discuss exclusive models, karaoke, and more! Plus, the sadness of missing Mika Akitaka at AX 2022 makes us discuss plans for AX 2024. Mid 2000s Earn Your Rank promotion: At Anime of Yesteryear blog On YouTube
Ep 1020101: Gundam GPT
ChatGPT has taken the world by storm so we take a look at what it is and how it might impact the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise. Can ChatGPT answer hard-hitting questions about Gundam? What happens when you ask ChatGPT to create a Gundam series? Join us as ChatGPT generates Mobile Suit Gundam Eclipse, Mobile Suit Gundam: Aces of the Cosmos, and Mobile Suit Gundam Legacy: A New Beginning. ZDNet: What is ChatGPT? Time: The WGA vs. AI USAToday: Godfather of AI Quits Google ChatGPT was voiced in this episode by "Matthew" and "Salli" from https://ttsmp3.com
Ep 1010100: G-Wrestler
Sunset Productions welcomes the millions... and MILLIONS... of Gundam fans to ringside as the next evolution of mobile suit entertainment takes shape before your very eyes - G-Wrestler! Your hosts, GM Ross and FAZZ, take you through the action as we pitch Gundam Wrestling from training camp all the way to Wrestlemania, in a world where the Char clone is your friend, the Gundams are powered by charisma, and all the drama is backstage! Join us as we stomp a mudhole in Mr. McNamco while Tomino-san the referee counts the one-two-three! Ep 1000099: Victory Gundam Review Part I
In our longest episode ever (because this show is so special) we tackle the first half of 1993’s Mobile Suit Victory Gundam. We discuss Tomino’s hatred of the show, rumors about his depression, how the tradition of biking was likely revived behind the scenes, Cronicle’s Wal-Mart mask, and Maria’s failed matriarchy led by a man. Plus, we rename all the characters so they have shorter, easier to pronounce names like Jack Hanna, Mr. Pibb, Zoloft, General Sugar, and Officer Phylo. P.S. I love you, Junko! The History and Production of Turn A Gundam: Part I – Victory Gundam & Battling Depression
Ep 990098: Yoshiyuki Tomino Interview
This is the episode you've been waiting for! Sunset Productions has a sit-down, tell-all interview with the creator of Gundam himself, Yoshiyuki Tomino! Tomino-san answers all of our most burning questions about Gundam, including the live-action film, space exploration, Haro, and more! Happy AFD, listeners! Haro at HLJ Haro at USA Gundam Store More Haro at HLJ This episode features sound effects from Pixabay
Ep 980097: Designing Gundamfield
After being unsatisfied with Gundam Evolution, we design our dream Gundam video game: GUNDAMFIELD! Sunset Productions spares no expenses and has no budgets! Plus, Brian's kids do an Endless Waltz of sickness and health, a WWE tangent spurs a preview of Gundam Wrestling, we ponder what the Universal Century's currency is called, and Isaac blows our your candles.
Ep 970096: Evolving Gundam Evolution
Isaac bought himself a gaming PC for Christmas, so we take the recent Gundam hero shooter video game known as Gundam Evolution for a spin. We discuss our likes, dislikes, ways we think the game can be improved, and what units we would like to see added to the roster. Our biggest takeaway - always PTFO!
Ep 960095: Alternatives to Space Fascism
Isaac woke up one morning and decided he'd had enough of antagonists embracing space fascism in Gundam. "There are just too many! They must be stopped!" he said. So we went to work solving Gundam's problem of space fascism overabundance by presenting some alternatives, including communists, cults (of various kinds), engineers, machines, migrators, monarchies, and a charismatic rebel. Any listeners who believe human souls are weighed down by Earth's gravity may apply for a leadership position in Isaac's Soulism cult - coming soon to a Lagrange point near you!

Ep 950094: The Nightmare of Solomon & The Mayfly of Space
In our first ace pilot spotlight episode, we examine the backgrounds of two of our favorite pilots from the OYW era - Anavel Gato aka The Nightmare of Solomon and Cima Garahau aka The Mayfly of Space! Gato is so popular, his exploits at Solomon got adapted three different times, but Isaac still isn't satisfied! Gato's beam rifle was so big that Sunrise had to retcon it and give him an ugly Dom as punishment (the blue one, NOT the totally-not-a-Dom-Tropen red one). Meanwhile, Cima must have the most dedicated fans in the world given her audiodrama got a sequel 20+ years later. Where is my 1/100 scale Gerbera Tetra, Bandai?!
Ep 940093: War in the Pocket Review
What better way to celebrate Christmas than discussing one of the most heart-wrenching Gundam stories of all time? Pull up a chair to our Christmas Eve campfire and join us for our review of 1989’s masterpiece, Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket! The Alex was pretty tough, but was Kris’ best weapon a Louisville Slugger? Is the Alex’s Chobham armor essentially the Universal Century’s 1-UP mushroom? Why didn’t Bernie just go to the Federation? Would you eat at Bernie’s Burgers at Gundamland? Plus, we come up with side story ideas for Von Hellsing and Bernie in Francheska, and Brian laments we didn’t get more hot Hygogg action. Receive our love! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, listeners!
Ep 930092: Gundam Tropes
On this episode, we examine Gundam's tropes in two ways. First, we list our top five tropes of which we've had enough! Then, Isaac plays the lightning round as Brian goes down TV Tropes' Gundam list to identify which tropes are problems and which are just fine the way they are. How many Gundamjacks is too many? What shade of gray is space fascism? Do we still believe a colony drop will really destroy the Earth? Be careful not to fall in a cockpit while listening to this episode!
Ep 920091: The Mobile Armor Awards Show
Join us for the first annual Mobile Armor Awards! On tonight's episode, we hand out the most coveted award in the Gundam metaverse - The Golden Explosion - to mobile armors in the Universal Century who've demonstrated excellence (or inferiority) in the following prestigious categories: Least Memorable Best Performance Most Craptacular Most Intimidating Worst Design Best Design Let us know your picks! Plus, we discuss Rolodexes and Amazonian Tarantulas.
Ep 910090: Gundam SEED Destiny Review Part II
We conclude our Destiny review and as expected, not even SEED mode can save this plane from crashing. The back half is full of twists that don't make sense and super weapons that fire every few episodes for good measure. Lil' Djibril is more trigger happy than ever, Shin kills Captain McSacrifice, somehow Mwu returns, the writers assassinate Lunamaria's character, Yuna's plan falls flat, Destroy triggers the inverse ninja law, and Talia becomes the worst mom ever at the last minute. Plus, we contemplate obvious next steps for the upcoming SEED film: The Return of George Glenn: Revenge of the Whales!
Ep 900089: The Gundam Halloween Special 2022
Trick or treat! Sunset Productions is back and giving out treats in the form of Gundam Halloween special ideas! Brian makes kids dress up and relive the One Year War in order to claim their candy - oh the horror! Isaac does his best Crypt Keeper impression to spin a terrifying yet punny anthology known as the Nightmares of Solomon! Brian finishes the trip around the block by sending us to a post-apocalyptic hellscape with Old Man Domon and The Red Comet. Plus, Brian might try to carve a Gundam jack-o'-lantern. Happy Halloween, everybody!
Ep 890088: Gundam SEED Destiny Review Part I
We activate SEED mode once more and head back to the Cosmic Era to discuss the series everyone loves to hate - SEED Destiny! The series starts out strong with ruins of Junius 7 raining down on the Earth and Blue Cosmos exercising their quick nuclear trigger finger. However, we then nosedive into a rapid tailspin as Cagalli says yes to the dress, Jesus Yamato returns by sacrificing the entire new cast, Heine shows up just to die, Rey wastes our screen time, N-Jammer Cancellers disappear without a mention, and everyone refuses to use basic forms of communication to solve their problems. Come aboard our Destiny documentary flight, but bring your parachute because we are going down.

Ep 880087: The Witch From Mercury Prologue
We run through our thoughts on The Witch From Mercury Prologue! Are we hyped? Definitely! Does Isaac have a lot of questions? Absolutely! We consider exactly what layer kills your child, the curious case of Cardo's "death," the possibility of the L'Frith having A.I. and/or using nanotech, and whether the Development Council's evil blue room with the glass floor should be added to the Gundam Hotel. Plus, Isaac blows out your candles and does an impression of The Count from Sesame Street!

Ep 870086: Mail Call #4: Wing, Marida Cruz, Linkin Park, and The Man with No Name!
Our mailbag is overflowing once again, so we dive in to your comments on this double-sized episode! We run down your suggestions for the Live Action Film opening and Top Female Pilots (including a few glaring omissions...), consider Gundam Wing's place in the universe, saddle up for a showdown with a Gundam pilot version of Blondie who travels a lonely road, ponder whether Amuro and Char should settle their score with dueling Chrono Gundams, and much more! Plus, Isaac does his Duke Dermail impression - don't miss it! https://appetiteforjapan.com/2015/12/13/gundam-hotel/
Ep 860085: Top 5 Mobile Suit Weapons
We countdown our top 5 favorite mobile suit weapons! From beam rifles to beam sabers, from heat hawks to bazookas, we're scouring all timelines for those weapons of war near and dear to our hearts. In this episode, Isaac forgets how to count and brings a list of 8, Mark Gatha shouts attacks during surgery, we decide that Bandai should do a collaboration with Nerf, and Isaac gets tripped up by fin funnel geometry. What are your top 5 MS weapons of all time? Let us know!
Ep 850084: Stardust Memory Review Part II
Solomon, we have returned! In this double-sized episode, we conclude our review of Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory! This episode is all about the show's multitude of conspiracies and their players - Earl Grey, Coliny and his cat, Jamitov, Bask Om and his goggles, O'Sullivan, Cima - basically everybody! Plus, we ask the hard questions like, was Cima really a hero the whole time? What happened to Coliny after 0083? Why can't Nina accept her ex-boyfriend is a mass murderer? How can Kowen get revenge on Coliny and Jamitov? Should Bandai make a Master Grade Dendrobium Orchis? (Yes!)
Ep 840083: Stardust Memory Review Part I
To commemorate episode 0083, we review Isaac's favorite series - Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory! In this double-sized episode, we call for listener renditions of The Winner's saxophone, admire all of the Delaz Fleet's sharp dressers (here's looking at you, Cima), wonder how Lt. Burning aka Lt. Brown Leather Wallet got his tan, and agree that Monsha is human garbage. Oh and watch out for those thuggish Lunarians lurking around every corner! Commence Operation Stardust!
Ep 830082: The Witch From Mercury - Story, Characters, and MS, Oh My!
Information about The Witch from Mercury has finally been revealed! Cue wild and reckless speculation! In a world full of space corporations, meet protagonist Suletta Mercury (she's from Mercury). Isaac loves a good space corporation tale. Will there be Harry Potter/ Game of Thrones like houses? Will we get a tournament arc? Is Guel angry because his name is weird? What is up with the Dilanza? Is Shaddiq our Char but with poofy pants this time? We trust in Suletta to save us all
Ep 820081: Crossbone Gundam: Steel 7 Review Part III
Our suicide mission aboard the Icarus comes to an end as Tobia and the rest of the Steel 7 arrive at Jupiter to destroy the colony laser. Will Tobia's X-1 Full Cloth be enough to handle the Callistos and their Dictii? Amidst the fierce battle, we ponder if Giri's Vigna Ghina II was formerly owned by Dorel Ronah, ask why Giri hates the Callistos so much (bagels are involved), agree to disagree about space geometry, and punch a hole in Rosemary's sudden profound philosophizing. Plus, you'd better believe there are a lot of Dictus and Dictii jokes!
Ep 810080: Mobile Suit Gundam (1979) Review Part II
We conclude our review of the original Mobile Suit Gundam TV series with a triple-sized episode! In the back-half, Isaac experiences a roller coaster of emotions as the Doms arrive (hooray!) but then get completely spanked (;_;), while Brian complains about the G-Fighter and modern takes on newtypes controlling time. Plus, Sleggar slaps Mirai into loving him, the Big Zam dominates the Federation and our hearts, Isaac and Kycilia bond over their hatred of Lalah’s flowy dress, Sunset Productions outlines an updated and expanded 100 episode MSG series, and Isaac aims his Dom’s beam bazooka at father-of-the-century Tem Ray. Who will survive? (definitely not Kycilia)
Ep 800079: Mobile Suit Gundam (1979) Review Part I
In the year 0079 of the Universal Century, a boy named Amuro Ray climbed into the cockpit of the RX-78-2 Gundam and changed the course of the One Year War. For episode 0079, we return from an extended spring break to discuss the series that started it all - Mobile Suit Gundam from 1979! In the first half of the series, we learn that Zeon women are ride or die to the very end, Garma loves himself, the Federation is definitely not your friend, the White Base's chef is truly dedicated to his craft, M'Quve drives a death onion, and the level of hand-to-face violence is off the charts!
Ep 790078: The Gundam Hotel: Earth Sphere Luxury Travel
The recent opening of Disney's Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser hotel has broken new ground in interactive vacation experiences. So naturally, Sunset Productions is here to Gundamify it. We cordially invite you to a two-night dinner theater/LARP/adventure (buffet included!) aboard the Buch Concern's latest luxury space liner within the neutral zone of Side 6. All ride-or-die Zeon space fascists are encouraged to destroy the Federation's new Gundam Unit 13 rumored to be aboard the ship. Enjoy some Titans foie gras while you sip a Zum City martini (meticulously measured Jupiter water also available) during your search for the Haro spy. The One Year War has never been this luxurious!
Ep 780077: Crossbone Gundam: Steel 7 Review Part II
With the Icarus literally hanging in the balance, Tobia and the Steel 7 force a rematch with Shadow in the Grand Canyon - who will survive? Volume 2 of Crossbone Gundam: Steel 7 continues to impress as we discuss Jovian tripods, Seadoos for mobile suits, the need for a Harrison series, Raspberry's OnlyFans, and the long awaited Europa and Raspberry team up. Plus, we talk about sherbet and Isaac sings a bar of Aerosmith's "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing!"
Ep 770076: Gundam Live-Action Film Opening & Ending Songs
If the upcoming Gundam live-action film had an anime style opening and/or ending song, who should sing it? We run through our wish lists which include pop queens, rock stars, rappers, and even some jazz swing! At the end of the day, we agree to go with the Flo for the intro and smell the Sunflowers on the way out. Which artists are on your wish lists? Playlist of artists mentioned: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/0DCpC603bzcKCEbXbwnUzE?si=b99348fc3f7a4ca2
Ep 760075: Crossbone Gundam: Steel 7 Review Part I
Our UC NexT 0100 journey rolls on as we discuss the next phase of Tobia's journey in Crossbone Gundam: Steel 7! In the first volume, a god-like colony laser emerges, Crux Dogatie flies the Epstein Express, Tobia's royal space women "problem" worsens, Kincade keeps his happy ending, and Giri joins the cast of Chopped. Plus, it wouldn't be Crossbone Gundam without space cleavage - this time with more hot springs! Time's ticking, Tobia!
Ep 750074: Gundam as a Western
In this episode we tackle the age-old question, can Gundam work as a Western? You're damn right, pilgrim. You want Gundams wearing hats? We've got Minovsky radiation reducers. You want Gundams righting horses? We've got M.A.R.E.s. You want the Western newtype? Welcome to Whiskey Mode. Saddle up, partners, and join us as we hit the dusty trails to gather a band of do-gooder MS pilots brave enough to take on bounty hunters, corrupt mayors, and dirty marshals. Gundam as a Western? "That'll be the day."
Ep 740073: Gundam Wing Rewrite
Despite not being our favorite series, Gundam Wing has a solid premise that deserves another look. In this episode, we each take a shot at rewriting the series to fix our perceived flaws. Brian focuses on spotlighting Treize, making sense out of Zechs, and creating the dastardly villain Torothy. Isaac introduces us to the international boy band sensation known as L0 and their world tour which ends in a showdown with Dorothy’s Gun Dolls. Then we both sing a few bars of L0’s smash hit – Zero Interest Baby! L0 > BTS any day of the week!
Ep 730072: Crossbone Gundam: Skull Heart Review
Tobia and the Crossbone Vanguard return in Crossbone Gundam: Skull Heart! This volume has a little bit of everything - action, adventure, comedy, fairy tales, and even horror. Tobia rescues Twinker Bell the space princess, Seabook is on diaper duty, the Jupiter Empire comes after your mail, Amuro Ray returns as the ultimate soldier, and Harrison is attacked by a nefarious force that will drive you bananas! Plus, Isaac laments the lack of a Glemy Toto heir and we wonder who would win a full out space war: the Cosmic Era's space whales or the Universal Century's newtype chimpanzees?
Ep 720071: Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz Review
We conclude our journey through the animated After Colony timeline with a review of Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz! One year after the TV series, some guy we’ve never heard of named Dekim Barton comes out of nowhere hell-bent on ruining Christmas with his army of bellhops, squad of boy scouts, and a legion of Diet-Coke Heavyarms. Shockingly, the Preventers fail to prevent Barton’s machinations after the world disarms and the Gundam boys send their Gundams into the sun (except Wu-Fei who kept Gundam Naruto). Can the boys get their Gundams back in time to stop Barton and save Christmas? Join us aboard Dorothy’s bus line and watch Relena hit Mariemaia Khushrenada (allegedly) with some cold, hard total pacifism! Merry Christmas Eve, listeners!
Ep 710070: The Gundam Holiday Special 2021
Our annual tradition of holiday-themed Gundams continues! In an alternate universe, General Gihren Zabi plots to ruin Christmas by making a deal with a demon so powerful even the Nazis were afraid of him. Armed with his Gundam Sleigh-er and his herd of nine Reign-fear, Gihren and his ally from beyond the veil seek to extinguish all joy in the Earth sphere. Humanity’s only hope rests with the prototype Gundam X-MAS and its band of merry mobile suits – a surly Frosty the Snowman, an Abominable Snow Monster, and a femme fatale codenamed Ho-Ho-Holiday. Suit up and strap in for a very Merry Christmas, listeners!
Ep 700069: Gundam Holiday Gift Guide 2021
Christmas 2021 is fast approaching so we are here to help you find the perfect gift for the Gundam fan in your life. Isaac provides his rules of the road for gifting mobile suits while Brian looks at price points at sources. We've got gunpla, streaming content, etsy creations, and more! Happy Holidays from Colony Drop!
Ep 690068: Gundam Wing Review Part II
We conclude our review of the Gundam Wing TV series with another triple-sized episode! Relena lets Dorothy into the Sanc Kindom despite those evil eyebrows; Romefeller sticks to its strength of holding daily meetings; Treize creates Epyon only to give it away because he wants to win by losing with Space Leos; Zechs takes control of White Fang because he looks more qualified than the guy in the vest; Quinze and the Engineers explain the plot in a few lines near the end hoping you don't notice; and the Gundam boys finally come together in the end. In hindsight, the whole conflict could have been solved with just communication... Plus, we both share recent real life encounters with Gundam Wing proving that we can never escape this series' legacy!
Ep 680067: Gundam Wing Review Part I
Ready your nostalgia goggles! In this TRIPLE sized episode, we review the first half of New Mobile Report Gundam Wing - the series that made the USA fall in love with Gundam way back in the year 2000! Despite an excellent premise, does the series hold up two decades later? Maybe if you really squint through those goggles... Out of all the off screen romances that are no doubt happening, we ship Trowa x Quatre and Tubarov x Mobile Dolls. Treize said a lot about war and peace, but all we took away is he hates babies and loves baths. Plus, Isaac starts his own clothing line called the Romefeller Circle and we confirm the widely held belief that the Leo is, in fact, terrible.
Ep 670066: Gundam Online Expo 2021, Tomino Speaks, and Sun of Bright
We discuss the Gundam Online Expo 2021 - exclusive merch, streaming content, Gunpla competitions, and more! Tomino speaks about space colonization, Hathaway, and his health. The Hathaway sequel gets a bright name. Zeta Gundam arrives on streaming for the first time. Plus, we yearn for a VR Gundam video game, Adam Savage builds the Perfect Grade RX-78-2 Unleashed, and we do terrible Jim Ross impressions!

Ep 660065: The Witch from Mercury, Doan‘s Island, and Urðr Hunt
We discuss the recent announcements of The Witch from Mercury, Cucuruz Doan's Island, and IBO Urðr Hunt. Will Sunrise give us a female main character? Did anyone see Doan's Island coming? Will playing as Rustal Elion in Urðr Hunt be tap to win? Plus, Isaac makes an acronym out of MERCURY and calls the IBO engineers to find those responsible for putting the Gundam Hajiroboshi in heels.
Ep 650064: Crossbone Gundam Review Part III
In this TRIPLE-sized episode, we conclude our recap and review of Mobile Suit Crossbone Gundam! The series climaxes in an epic fashion as Tobia plunders Bernadette, we say farewell to the Mother Vanguard and hello to the Flints, Zabine's rage-o-meter hits critical mass during his duel with Kincade, Dogatie reveals himself to be a jerk with too many nukes, Bernadette was wrong all along, SNRI looks more like Anaheim every day, Admiral Trustworthington somehow screws up worse than Admiral Earl Grey at 0083's naval review, and Sherry saves the day. There is also a lumberjack, an ape, plenty of aquariums, more Star Wars references, and MULTIPLE terrifying mobile armors known as the Divinidads. These volumes slapped Isaac so hard he gave the series his highest score yet! The only thing these two volumes don't have is the answer to the question - whatever happened to Dorel Ronah? Seriously, Tomino, we want to know.
Ep 640063: Top 5 Female Pilots
The women of Gundam get the spotlight today as we countdown our top five female pilots! Isaac chooses his best while Brian chooses his favorites. Although the selection is a bit sparse, we find more than enough ethereal newtypes, incognito royalty, nineties bad girls, ruthless leaders, students, turncoats, and vengeful soldiers to fill out our lists. Isaac turns out to be shockingly objective, while Brian fails at speaking French (sorry Asuna!) and demonstrates that he clearly hates Christina Mackenzie. Who's in your top five?
Ep 630062: Crossbone Gundam Review Part II
We resume our Crossbone voyage right where we left off - with the Mother Vanguard rammed inside Crux Dogatie's palace! But the tables quickly turn on Kincade as Crux pulls a Voldemort (or did Voldemort pull a Crux?!), Zabine leads a totally unexpected mutiny with 2x4s, and Karas borrows a grappler ship from Outlaw Star. Things go from bad to worse as we meet the sinister Death Gale Squadron and Berah's diabolical yet pint-sized cousin Sherry. As Kincade prepares to take on Zabine, Death Gale, and the entire Earth Federation, a glimmer of hope emerges when Tobia plunders a third Crossbone Gundam out from under Sherry's nose. Will Tobia make it in time? The thunder of justice for all those who defy Jupiter!

Ep 620061: Mail Call #3: Hathaway, Aliens, Doms, and More!
Our mailbag runneth over once more, so we're answering as many of your comments as we can on this episode! Is that Quess Paraya we hear on the Haunzen? Did Hathaway help Anaheim design and test the Xi Gundam on Luna? Are fake aliens the best aliens Gundam could have? If Gundam did have aliens, should we send in Ripley? Plus, it turns out Nina is right about everything, Tom Cruise pilots the transforming "Robot Gandum," and Isaac brings you some hot Gustav Karl x Dom Tropen action!
Ep 610060: Crossbone Gundam Review Part I
Our UC NexT 0100 journey continues as we tackle the first two volumes of the fan favorite manga series from 1994 known as Mobile Suit Crossbone Gundam! We board the reformed Crossbone Vanguard’s flagship alongside our old pals Berah Ronah and Kincade Nau (he’s Seabook but cooler), and our new pal Tobia Arronax, and set sail for the Jovian moon Io – the headquarters of Crux Dogatie and his evil Jupiter Empire! Dogatie’s forces have an aquarium, Sharkticons, Xenomorphs, and a flying lava elephant-shark, but we have pirate Gundams, anti-beam cloaks, a robotic parrot, a literal space pirate ship, and the power of friendship! So raise the anchor, lower the beam sails, fire your broadside cannons, and come join us on this Gundam fever dream adventure!
Ep 600059: How Should the Universal Century End?
How should the Universal Century end? The question is simple but the answers are monumentally complicated. In our most depressing episode yet, we journey through the Dark History seeking the answers. We float an exodus from Earth to Mars, attempt to answer the Fermi Paradox with Gundams, and consider the entropic consequences of constant war. There is also discussion about clams, fires, and World War 3. Welcome to the apocalypse.
Ep 590058: Gundam 0083: The Afterglow of Zeon Review
We tackle Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: The Afterglow of Zeon - a compilation film covering Isaac's beloved OVA series Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory. As this film with three names progresses at a lightning fast pace, we touch on all the hard-hitting questions as usual. Does Cima have her own harem or does her ship just have HVAC problems? Is Kou "I'd never wreck it" Uraki bad at math because he didn't get into Luna University's women only STEM program? Can Bask Om really see out of those goggles? After climaxing with a stand-off involving standard issue life cancelers, Kou goes directly to jail, does not pass Go, and does not collect his $200. What a downer. The animation was fantastic though!
Ep 580057: Let’s Talk About Aliens
With public interest in UFOs resurging, we think it's only a matter of time before aliens show up again in a Gundam universe. We discuss alien appearances in Gundam so far, with an emphasis on MSG 00 The Movie: A Wakening of the Trailblazer. Brian wasn't buying what Areola Shoenwhatever was selling, and Isaac found the spindly ELSes totally boring. If aliens were to show up again, what does the project need to be not only a successful story, but a good Gundam story? Do you even want aliens in your Gundam? Isaac pitches MSG: The Thing, while Brian tries Gundam Trek and Gundam: Bug Hunters.
