“Send Coach John a message”This was a tough one and it came as a shock to me. A guy that I really didn't know that well, other than seeing him and talking to him at his place of employment - at our local Costco store. Kevin was his name and the "K" that started his first name, also stood for the Kindness that he showed so many people. As I share in this podcast, I didn't know that he passed away a week ago from a dreaded battle that came on just a few months ago. I was in tears, in the store when I saw the two giant display boards that had so many messages around a few pictures of him. It was obvious that this man made an impact on so many people. A recent exercise of my students taking a Character Trait survey that is connected to our Positivity Project, sure did get me thinking. You see, I took the same survey again as I want to show my students the tremendous value with things like that I see the importance of it too. It showed me that the trait of Forgiveness is one that I need to work on or focus on a bit. With a new school year coming up in a few days and a new position that I will be working at my high school - part time, but still a new adventure, this book is really going to help me out. Take for example Brian Buffini sharing some great (and never heard before recordings) from Earl Nightingale.
