Chaz and AJ welcomed Kathryn Hauser to the studio this morning, and talked about the recent announcement from WTNH that she will take over as co-anchor of the 5 PM news. Kathryn talked about her start in news on Long Island, meeting her husband at another station in Albany (amid scandal!) and taking over for Darren Kramer.

No school for Trumbull yesterday, as their school buses all broke down. Chaz and AJ asked the Tribe to call in with info on diesel fuel, and how something like this could happen. (0:00) Listener submission week continues for Bad Idea Island, which was all about Kix cereal trying to mail atomic bombs to children in the 1940's. (19:43) In Dumb Ass News, turkeys have terrorized a neighborhood in Wisconsin. Chaz and AJ were in utter disbelief that no one could figure out how to outsmart a bird. (25:14) On with Chaz and AJ this morning, the Mayor of Uranus! Louie Keen from Uranus, Missouri called in to talk about their famous fudge factory. (33:29) Mark Tuchman was on the phone with Chaz and AJ to talk about a plan to set a world record, while knockin an item off the bucket list AND raising money for a good cause. Megan Doll was on the phone as well to share her perspective on her husband, Mark's plan to fly around the world. (41:13)

After losing his Super Bowl bet with Chaz, AJ had to take a trip out to the parking lot to wipe his ass with snow. After returning comfortably (and not washing his hands) AJ shared how the experience he had was extremely different than how it was originally described by survivalist Kevin Estela.

In Bad Idea Island this week, Chaz and AJ will only be featuring Tribe suggestions. The first submission comes from Felicia, who found the "Mr. Potato Head Massager" to not be very kid-friendly. (0:00) Lindsay Vonn's 2026 Olympic hopes ended in less than 15 seconds. Chaz and AJ had audio from the terrifying crash, and then shared a happier clip of the Rum Runners joining Bret Michaels on stage. (6:58) Vince Berry was out at a bar in Connecticut last night, and recorded a few sad, drunk Patriots fans at halftime. (11:44) The Super Bowl ended with a victory for the Seattle Seahawks, so Chaz and AJ called both, Kevin from Pepe's and Lee from Moto Pizza to figure out how their bet is going to be honored. (19:47) In Dumb Ass News, Brian Foley was on the phone with Chaz and AJ to talk about a disgusting story from Baltimore, which involved someone defiling the kitchen coffee creamer. (33:44)

Chaz and AJ's Top 10 list this morning was all about the food that Americans will be consuming the most during the Big Game. (0:00) NFL Agent Joe Linta was on the phone with Chaz and AJ to talk about the Big Game, and what agents need to be doing throughout the weekend when their clients are in the game. (15:21) The Tribe was challenged by Chaz and AJ to make us say, "Wow!" Callers shared stories about skiing, crazy toboggan rides, and rescuing a man from the middle of traffic. (26:48) Kevin Gagliard from Pepe's Pizza was in studio, to talk about the viral bet they made with Moto Pizza out of Seattle. Depending on which team wins the Big Game, someone will be flying across the country to be fed pizza by the losing establishment. (53:15)

Live Nation's Jimmy Koplik joined Chaz and AJ this morning to talk about his progress on a personal goal to bring Metallica back to Connecticut. Plus, his thoughts on a return for Ozzfest in 2027, updates on concert plans for Greta Van Fleet, and some backstage stories with Willie Nelson.

Chaz and AJ asked the Tribe to call in with the food specialties they will be preparing for the Big Game this weekend. Chaz has been chasing a high from over 20 years ago, meatballs in a grape jelly and chili sauce.

Chaz and AJ replayed a terrible Big Game National Anthem rendition, by a singer you would've expected to be much better. Plus, a classic fail by Fergie. A 15-second Big Game spot nearly ended a streaming service for good. Chaz and AJ talked about the rage-inducing Tubi ad in Bad Idea Island. (0:00) The lead singer of Rascal Flatts has caught the internet's attention for hitting a brutal note during a live performance recently. But was it warranted? (9:33) The Patriots are on their way to the Big Game, leaving yesterday after a party with the fans at Gillette Stadium. Vince was there to talk to some die-hards about skipping work, and which Wahlberg brother is their favorite. (19:01) Martin Nolan of Julien's Auctions was on the phone with Chaz and AJ this morning, after a late night attending the Grammy's. Were any of the outfits or instruments last night donated for a future auction? (35:47)

Chaz and AJ spoke with comedian, actor, and viral reality show Michael Rapaport this morning. Michael went through his time on the show "Traitors," including his method of eating that he's been mercilessly mocked for.

In Bad Idea Island, Chaz and AJ talk about the million dollar giveaway that turned into a live MTV cringefest. Chaz and AJ went through the whole crazy event, from exploding metal, gas leaks, and all the concerned drivers making sure AJ was OK. Stories included golf cart mishaps, toboggan fails and Chaz's mother-in-law getting dumped out of a Chevy Bel Air. (0:00) Scott has had a few viral videos on social media, including his recent "pizza guy" delivery during the ice storm in Texas. Chaz and AJ played audio from the video then spoke to Scott about coming up with these characters and how his neighbors inadvertently provided plenty of inspiration. (6:31) Sitting in studio with Chaz and AJ, DOT Commissioner Garrett Eucalitto agreed to take calls and suggestions from the Tribe. Chaz and AJ, and everyone listening yesterday, was surprised when their cold weather survivalist, Kevin Estela recommended wiping with some fresh snow. In honor of that moment, the Tribe called in with the things they are surprised to find delightful, from a fresh port-o-potty to picking scabs.

Chaz offered his review of "Bugonia," a best picture nominee for the Oscars this year. He started with a big spoiler warning, then launched into a little review/rant after the movie was suggested to him by both Ruth and Phil. Plus, Mike S. does the Top 10 snowy movies. Chaz and AJ asked Dr. Ron Clark to handle the Top 10 list this morning, which are the most common winter time accidents and injuries that bring people to the hospital. Be careful shoveling! (0:00) A Connecticut plow driver makes Dumb Ass News for crashing through a garage, and causing a trail of carnage before admitting to police he had snorted coke. (15:57) The winter storm is over, but the cold weather is here to stay. CT State Police spokesperson Sgt. Rodney Valdes was on the phone with some information about emergency response. (23:12) A live call from a Tribe member changed the headline in Dumb Ass News, when Cody shared the story of making sure to have kitty litter in the car during snow storms. (30:22)

Chaz and AJ invited a 22-year-old student, Skyler Chan, on this morning to talk about his plan and business model for a hotel on the moon. The interview was cut short when the vocal fry was too much to handle.

The 1989 Oscars ended one career for sure, and seriously threatened another. Ruth leads Chaz and AJ through the cringe in Bad Idea Island. (0:00) Snow and extreme cold is expected this weekend. Chaz and AJ spoke with a mailman who will be out on his walking route through the intense weather. (8:02) In Dumb Ass News, a man attempted to steal brisket by shoving it into his pants. (38:07) Chaz and AJ asked the Tribe to share the craziest or strangest items they keep in the car. Someone went through a lot of trouble to keep a baboon in the backseat. Chaz and AJ opened the show talking about the weekend of NFL playoff games, including the "catch" that was ruled against the Buffalo Bills. (0:00) Connecticut Huskies head coach Geno Auriemma went viral for complaining about the pizza that was brought to the team after a game. Kevin from Pepe's was on the phone with Chaz and AJ to talk about bringing "the real stuff" to the team. Chaz and AJ invited Jackie Crenshaw in studio this morning, to share her story and warning about scams. Jackie met someone on a dating site, only to be love-bombed with large sums of money, that she was convinced to invest in cryptocurrency. The Tribe shared their stories of scams and close-calls, proving this is happening all too often.

In Bad Idea Island, Chaz and AJ continue to talk about creepy dolls. Today, the "parents" of the hyper-realistic dolls are being sent off to the island. (0:00) In Dumb Ass News, an unknown problem with KFC gravy lead to some wild violence. (7:17) Chaz and AJ asked the Tribe to call in their food rage moments, from running out of roast beef to way too much mayonaise. (15:17) A man in Florida stopped cars on the highway to rescue two toddlers, who wandered out of their yard into the road. The parents had no idea. (28:09)

Ruth was out at one such supermarket yesterday to ask customers how they feel about that, but had a hard time keeping some folks on track. (6:00) The flu season is atrociously bad, one of the worst of the last 25 years. Chaz and AJ asked the Tribe to share their home remedies that they swear by, after AJ ranted about his hatred for VapoRub. (21:21) Mike Cerulli was in studio from News 8 to share some of the fascinating findings he uncovered, while looking into the McRib. Why is it only a seasonal release? What are the actual ingredients? (37:29) In Dumb Ass News, mysterious monkeys are wreaking havoc in St. Louis. Chaz and AJ took some calls from the Tribe about their encounters with monkeys, including one guy who was bitten and needed shots for months. (59:27)

Baby Laugh-a-Lot, and more specifically the horrifying commercial that ran, both were sent off to Bad Idea Island this morning. Chaz and AJ also took a call from a Tribe member who remembered the haunting sounds it would make as the batteries started to die. (0:00) A recap of last night's Golden Globes ceremony, including the acceptance speech that seemed a little too emotional. Plus, Chaz shares the award he won on Friday, at the company holiday party!
