Ep 963The Smart Way to Sell Your Business - Guelph - Canada's Entrepreneur

For more than two decades, Robert Mithcell has been helping Ontario business owners navigate one of the most important decisions of their lives—selling their business. As the founder and lead advisor at Premium Mergers & Acquisitions, based in Guelph, he work hands-on with every client to maximize value, protect their legacy, and guide them through a confidential, stress-free process. Each transaction is deeply personal, and my role is to ensure owners feel confident about both the deal and the future of their business. Ep 960Known for his extraordinary celebrity clientele and philanthropic efforts - Calgary - Canada's Entrepreneur

Currently he is co-producing a television show called the Chevy Boyzzz with co-star David "Shark" Fralick of The Young and the Restless and The Hollywood Way. Ep 958They're losing a lot of real estate moving away from print - Calgary - Canada's Entrepreneur

Sharon Hapton, a successful Calgary-based businesswoman and mother of two, is the founder and CEO of Soup Sisters and Hug in a Bowl Enterprises. In 2008-2009, leading up to her 50th birthday, Sharon channeled her belief in the healing power of homemade soup into founding Soup Sisters, a grassroots organization. Recognized nationally and regionally for her work, Sharon has led the movement that has delivered over 4 million 'Hugs in a Bowl' to families and individuals in crisis. She has received numerous accolades, including being named one of Chatelaine's and CityTV's Women of the Year and receiving the Meritorious Service Medal from the Governor General of Canada in 2016. "I am a soup maker. I have cared for family and friends with soup for most of my adult life. If someone was down or needed some extra care, I would show up at their door, most often unannounced and with soup. I knew that this simple gesture had the power to change their day, and in the process of making it, I was letting them know how much I cared. The whole exchange – the soup-making, the visit, the comfort it provided and the appreciation it returned – created a fulfilling cycle of giving. Here is the recipe for Soup Sisters. All it took was for me to realize that I didn’t need to look beyond my truest self and that what I was looking for had always been inside me, just waiting to be recognized. After all, I am, and always have been, a soup maker." Stay Connected with #CanadasEntrepreneur! Join our growing community of entrepreneurs across Canada! As a key leader in the city’s Expression of Interest process for the Centennial Planetarium, he collaborated with arts community leaders to secure the Planetarium’s future as a home for contemporary art. His dedication to this process cemented his reputation as a creative and strategic thinker, advocating for modern and contemporary art in Calgary. This work followed his involvement with the Institute for Modern and Contemporary Art (IMCA), which later merged with other arts organisations to form Contemporary Calgary in 2014. Under David’s leadership, Contemporary Calgary has achieved transformative milestones. He secured a 35-year lease of the historic Centennial Planetarium, guaranteeing the gallery’s future in one of Calgary’s most iconic buildings. Additionally, he led efforts to secure a $30 million federal government commitment for future renovations and expansions and has helped raise millions of dollars in private philanthropy, significantly elevating the gallery’s profile locally, nationally, and internationally. In 2024, David’s advocacy was instrumental in achieving Civic Partner status for Contemporary Calgary, aligning it with the City’s major cultural and tourism attractions and ensuring its financial stability. Before joining Contemporary Calgary, David built a diverse professional background that uniquely prepared him to meet the challenges the gallery faced. At Enbridge, the largest energy transportation company in the world, he oversaw the strategic development and execution of the company’s long-term brand vision. He also led high-profile corporate and nonprofit accounts at Karo Group, a leading Western Canadian branding agency. These roles gave him a deep understanding of the many facets of business, equipping him with the diverse skills needed to lead a complex cultural organization at a pivotal moment. David’s passion for art stems from his grandmother, an artist who inspired his lifelong appreciation for art, culture and creativity. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from St. Francis Xavier University, where his education also included studies in drawing and painting. This unique combination of artistic insight and business expertise shapes his leadership style and continues to guide his vision for Contemporary Calgary. Committed to accessibility, collaboration, and innovation, David leads a team of passionate employees who are driving change in Calgary’s arts community and beyond. His work has earned recognition, including being named one of Calgary’s Top 40 Under 40 in 2022.. Stay Connected with #CanadasEntrepreneur! Join our growing community of entrepreneurs across Canada!
