S5 Ep 406William Bust - Strategic mentor, speaker, and author,

In this podcast interview with William Bust, a strategic mentor, speaker, and author, they discuss what a business mindset means to him. He believes it is about focusing your thoughts on how to best serve your customers and making those things habitual. It doesn't require a university degree or a postgraduate degree to acquire and it is about thinking about the people you serve and providing them with the best service that you can. They also discuss how important it is to serve customers, as they are the lifeblood of a business. The conversation between two people explores the idea of making customers habitual and ingrained in order to get referrals and renewed contracts. The speaker explains that this can be achieved through a chain of events which starts with consciously incompetent and ending with unconsciously competent. They also discuss the role of a mentor in comparison to a coach and describe a mentor as somebody with deep experience of running businesses. They further explain that a coach brings their questioning and skill at opening people's minds to the things they already know, whereas a mentor brings a deep experience of running businesses. The conversation between two people focuses on the role of a mentor. A mentor looks at a business situation and is able to bring relevant experience to the situation. It is the skill of a good mentor to know when outside consultancy is needed and when coaching can be used. S5 Ep 405Andy Dickens, the founder and CEO of Virtual Sales Limited

Andy Dickens, the founder and CEO of Virtual Sales Limited, joined Mark on the Absolute Business Mindset podcast. According to Andy, a business mindset means having a product or service to offer and then knowing how to publicize and market it. He shared his experience with a lot of entrepreneurs who come up with great ideas but don’t know how to take them from concept to reality. They discussed sales and how to build a successful sales process. Andy shared tips on how to engage potential customers and build relationships with them. He also provided advice on how to create a sales process that works for every business. Finally, Mark asked Andy a specific question about his own business, which Andy was able to answer. In conclusion, the podcast was a great source of advice for entrepreneurs looking to start and grow their business. This conversation looks at the importance of sales for entrepreneurs. The speaker notes that many entrepreneurs are not salespeople but need to understand and employ sales channels to grow their businesses. He suggests that although some entrepreneurs may naturally turn to sales, others may feel overwhelmed and not know where to start. The speaker also reflects on his own upbringing and how it has impacted who he is today. He believes that his upbringing has taught him how to be a better listener, be more resilient, and appreciate the value of hard work. The speaker shares how he got into sales after initially not having any interest in the field. He studied Business Studies at Loughborough University and was then offered a job as a sales engineer with a company called Data Recall. From there, he asked to move into sales and was given a shot as a rookie and was successful in his first three months. He then became the top selling sales guy in the UK's premier postcode. The speaker also shares that he believes his degree in Business Studies helped him to understand customers' pain points and assign them to the service or product he was offering. He also shares enjoying the closing process of sales and using silence as a powerful tool in the process. Finally, he shares his experiences of moving from sales roles into director of sales roles, where he was responsible for managing a sales team and hitting targets.Timestamps0:02:35-Interview with Andy Dickens, Founder and CEO of Virtual Sales Limited: Exploring the Business Mindset0:04:34-"Exploring the Role of Sales in Entrepreneurship with [Name]"0:06:29 -Conversation with [Name], Sales Professional and Former Regional Manager0:11:49-"Leading from the Front: A Conversation with Sales Director, Virtual Sales Limited"0:13:52-"Exploring the EvoSupport the showIf you want to watch the full video of this episode go to:https://www.youtube.com/@markhayward-BizGrowthTalksDo you want to be a guest on multiple podcasts as a service go to:www.podcastintroduction.comFind more details about the podcast and my coaching business on:www.businessgrowthtalks.comFind me onLinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/in/mark-hayw...Tik Tok - https://www.tiktok.com/@mjh169183YouTube Shorts - https://www.youtube.com/@markhayward-BizGrowthTalks/shorts

S5 Ep 404Interview with Kevin Whelan - Wealth builders

The host introduces Kevin Whelan, the founder of Wealth Builders. They discuss the new program that Kevin is running, which is focused on providing families with financial literacy and financial management skills. Kevin is developing a program to help teach financial literacy. He wants to give children of all ages the knowledge and guidance they need to become financially responsible and not fall prey to the plans of businesses. His program will give the tinies, kids up to eight years old, the basics of understanding financial responsibility. The Indies, kids finding their own feet, will get more in-depth instruction, and the Flyers, those about to leave the nest, will receive guidance and advice that their parents and the school system may not have been able to provide. The conversation revolves around the lack of financial education in the education system. The speaker believes that the education system is created by academics and educators who have the safest pensions and the least knowledge about creativity, finances, entrepreneurship, business and wealth creation. Additionally, the government has a lack of willingness to change the curriculum, as it would require teaching the teachers. The speaker is then creating a program called Wealth Builders for Families, which aims to revolutionise money education in the country, teaching people of all ages how to be a fantastic money role model for their children. The responsibility to be the best influencer of our children when it comes to money lies with us as parents. We can show them how to be role models in what we say, share, and the games we play. As adults, we need to be aware of the things we didn't learn ourselves, such as company cars and emergency taxes, in order to share the appropriate lessons with our children. We can teach children of all ages the value of giving, sharing, spending and deferring gratification. To be a great teacher, one must learn more, and often parents don't know enough since they didn't have role models. It's time to look back and think of the lessons we wish we had. Wealth builders is a program that creates a community of enlightened parents, and a family charter is created with a set of values such as being open-minded, sharing knowledge, and taking accountability and responsibility.Support the showIf you want to watch the full video of this episode go to:https://www.youtube.com/@markhayward-BizGrowthTalksDo you want to be a guest on multiple podcasts as a service go to:www.podcastintroduction.comFind more details about the podcast and my coaching business on:www.businessgrowthtalks.comFind me onLinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/in/mark-hayw...Tik Tok - https://www.tiktok.com/@mjh169183YouTube Shorts - https://www.youtube.com/@markhayward-BizGrowthTalks/shorts

S5 Ep 403Jeremy Miner - Sales Trainer

The conversation between the two focuses on discussing the business mindset and what it means to the interviewee. The interviewee is a sales trainer and founder of 7th Level, a business in sales. He states that success in business and sales requires absolute certainty and commitment. He shares that he had a 17 year sales career before retiring in 2017 and starting 7th Level in 2018. He further states that commitment is key to success and that professional athletes, actors, and actresses who make millions of dollars per film are examples of this. He affirms that commitment is essential to achieving success in any industry. This conversation focuses on the importance of commitment in order to be successful. It is discussed that commitment means having one foot in and one foot out, and having a plan A that you are all in on and figuring out how to make it extremely successful. It is also mentioned that God provides the birds with food, but does not put the worms in their nest, meaning that you have to take the steps to acquire the skill and take action to achieve success. Personal responsibility is also discussed as being critical for success, as those in the top 1% have committed to be the best at whatever they do. Commitment is the foundation for success, and without it, one will never reach the top. The conversation between the two speakers revolves around the theme of commitment. The first speaker explains that anyone who has achieved success in their profession has done so because of commitment. They have acquired the necessary skills and are willing to do things that others are not willing to do. The second speaker then discusses the commitment of their organization, which has enabled it to become the fastest growing sales training company for two years in a row. The second speaker then poses a question to the first speaker, asking them to reflect on something from their upbringing that reflects who they are now. The first speaker mentions that they grew up on a cattle ranch in Missouri and that this experience taught them the importance of commitment.Timestamps0:03:04Interview with Sales Trainer and Business Founder: Exploring the Business Mindset0:05:11The Power of Commitment: Achieving Success in Business and Life0:06:34Conversation on Commitment and Professional Growth0:08:22Conversation on Commitment and Career Choices0:10:20Heading: How Divine Providence Led to a Career in Behavioral Science and Sales0:11:37Heading: How I Got Into Sales and Learned to Become a Problem Finder0:14:31"Exploring Neuroemotional Persuasion QuestiSupport the showIf you want to watch the full video of this episode go to:https://www.youtube.com/@markhayward-BizGrowthTalksDo you want to be a guest on multiple podcasts as a service go to:www.podcastintroduction.comFind more details about the podcast and my coaching business on:www.businessgrowthtalks.comFind me onLinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/in/mark-hayw...Tik Tok - https://www.tiktok.com/@mjh169183YouTube Shorts - https://www.youtube.com/@markhayward-BizGrowthTalks/shorts
