In the fourth episode of British Murders Season 4, I tell the story of Stuart Hulse and Shirley Brown.⁣In June 1996, Hulse attended a "sordid sex party" with ten other individuals.⁣At the party, Hulse watched an extreme pornographic video and became frustrated when he was left on his own after everyone else coupled up and disappeared to different bedrooms.⁣Hulse took a taxi home, snuck into Shirley Brown's house and sexually assaulted her. In the third volume of Killer British Murder Stories, I discuss the case of The Chicago Tylenol Murders with Bobbie Holmes of Killer Stories.The Chicago Tylenol murders were a series of poisoning deaths resulting from drug tampering in the Chicago metropolitan area in 1982.The victims had all taken Tylenol-branded acetaminophen capsules that had been laced with potassium cyanide.A total of seven people died in the original poisonings, with several more deaths in subsequent copycat crimes, and no suspect was ever charged or convicted of the poisonings.This is the second of two collaboration episodes Bobbie and I recently recorded. In the ninth episode of British Murders Season 3, I tell the story of "Devilman" David Harker.⁣⁣In April 1998, David Harker killed Julie Paterson in his flat by strangulation.⁣⁣He then claimed to have cut off some flesh from Julie's thigh, fried it in garlic butter and ate it with pasta.⁣David also claimed to be a necrophiliac and told psychiatrists he'd had sex with Julie's corpse before wiping it down with bleach and sawing off her head and limbs.⁣To this day, Julie Paterson's head, arms and legs have never been found.⁣David Harker pleaded guilty to manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility. In the seventh episode of British Murders Season 3, I tell the story of Theodore Johnson.After being born in Jamaica in 1954, Theodore emigrated to the UK with his first wife, Yvonne Johnson, in 1980.In 1981, Theodore was sent to prison for three years after being charged with Yvonne's manslaughter.Theodore went on to kill two more female spouses, a crime known as uxoricide, between 1993 and 2016.He was sentenced to serve a minimum term of 26 years in prison on January 5, 2018. In the second volume of Killer British Murder Stories, I discuss the case of American serial killer Donald "Pee Wee" Gaskins with Bobbie Holmes.Gaskins was an American serial killer and convicted rapist from South Carolina who stabbed, shot, drowned and poisoned more than a dozen people.Before his convictions for murder, Pee Wee Gaskins had a long history of criminal activities resulting in prison sentences for assault, burglary, and statutory rape.He claims to have killed 110 people in total, but those claims could never be validated.He was executed by the electric chair on September 6, 1991.This is the second of two collaboration episodes Bobbie and I recently recorded. I tell the story of Sarah Dazley and William Dazley in this final episode of season 2.Sarah was found guilty of murdering her ex-husband William Dazley in October 1842.Her weapon of choice was arsenic.Sarah was also accused of killing her first husband, Simeon Mead, and the pair's son, Jonah Mead, but she wasn't charged with either of those murders.She was sentenced to death by hanging. I tell the story of Stephen Marshall and Jeffrey Howe in this final episode of season 1. I tell the story of Beverley Allitt in this episode. Beverley Allitt was a state-enrolled nurse in the children's ward at Grantham and Kesteven Hospital in Lincolnshire when she murdered Liam Taylor, Timothy Hardwick, Becky Phillips and Claire Peck. The children, aged seven weeks, eleven years, nine weeks and fifteen months, respectively, were killed between February and April 1991. In total, Beverley attacked thirteen children over 59 days in 1991 and was handed thirteen concurrent terms of life imprisonment on May 28, 1993. A sufferer of Munchausen syndrome, Allitt is thought to have carried out the attacks to attract attention to herself. NOTE: Beverley is now eligible for release on parole as her minimum tariff of 30 years expired in November 2021.
