As a child, I grew up around alcoholism, violence and abuse in a home with 7 other siblings. As the second to youngest I watched as the older siblings finally left home in the middle of the night to escape. As the age of 15 I left too and began the journey of trying to heal the damage done by the trauma I had endured.
