As I prepare to turn 40, I am sad to say I spent a good bit of my time looking back at what I planned for my life. I didn't surrender my life as I should have to the Lord. Now I realize how important it is to surrender our lives to God's will and way in order for us to fulfill our purpose. Let's Get Into It!

Hey y'all...I am back this week with a Sunday Supper episode. For those of you who have been rocking with me, you already know what's up. For those who are new, Sunday Supper is really big in the Southern regions of the United States. It's a time where families get together and catch up on everyone's business, and they eat! I know I said I was taking some time away, but...the Holy Spirit said otherwise. It all started with a conversation with a friend...Let's Get Into It!

Set, Stand, and See...2 Chronicles 20:15, "...for the battle is not yours, but God's." We are to set ourselves into position to stand, so that we may see the salvation of the Lord in our situation. He will rescue, and He will fight for us. God does not need our help. He heard us the first time we cried out to Him. Trust that He has everything under control, and that He will show up for you. Let's Get Into It!

What was the catalyst that turned your relationship with God into you and God walking together? There is a vast difference between knowing someone and knowing about someone. See, when we really get to know Jesus, He disrupts our lives for the better. Let's Get Into It!

Being a human being is not easy. We judge. We are hypocritical. We point out the faults in others before we recognize the imperfections in ourselves. However, when we step outside of ourselves and make room for self-reflection, it allows us to reposition our heart posture back to a place of brokenness and humility. We recognize we have a Savior not just to point others to, but to seek for ourselves because of our sinful nature. Let's Get Into It!

Our worship is our weapon, but we do not use it when we are under attack. Why? Why do we reach for complaints before we reach for worship? We are going to talk about it in this episode. Let's Get Into It!

Do the people you have relationships with (friendships, business, family, etc), do they like the REALITY of you, or do they like the IDEA of you? Because the IDEA of you and the REALITY of you are two different people. Let's Get Into It!

Throughout the Word of God, we are given gentle reminders of God's love for us and how He has us in the palm of His hand. This week, I was reminded of this. Perhaps you need a reminder today as well. Let's Get Into It!

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven...(Eccl. 3:1). Every detail, every minute detail of your life has a purpose and a season. Every single thing we see with our eyes in this earth has a purpose and an appointed time. This is a heavy episode. Let's Get Into It!

The Word of God instructs us not to think of ourselves more highly than we ought (Rom. 12:3). The Word of God also warns us not to be complacent, believing we are safe or have arrived in our faith, and become untouchable, because we will surely fall (1 Cor. 10:12). We have an adversary, Satan, who walks about as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). How do we navigate life, temptations, and making sure we stay humble? We talk about it in this episode, Let's Get Into It!

There are several instances where Jesus healed people, but He asked them to do something, like "Go to the pool and wash" or "Take up your bed and walk." Our faith is tied to our obedience. The healing is already done, but our faith is the agitator. Faith without works is dead, so how does it become alive? When we walk it out through studying the Word of God, speaking the Word over our situation, and spending time with the Lord. Let's Get Into It!

This week, I felt led to read from the Book of Psalms. I think it's always beneficial to revisit familiar parts of the Bible. Just because it is familiar does not mean it has been exhausted. The Word of God is alive and more relevant than tomorrow's newspaper. Let's get into it!

With everything going on in this world, why wouldn't you choose Jesus? He is a strong tower we can run into. He is the Rock we can stand on. He is our keeper, our strength, our peace which surpasses all understanding. He is the one constant we are certain of in a world full of inconsistency. He is our hope and our defense. In the days ahead, we must make our election sure and have our faith built on nothing less than Christ Jesus, the solid rock. All other ground is sinking sand. Let's Get Into It!

Your faith needs to stand on business! Your faith needs to be unwavering, unmovable, and unshakeable. Why is it that when we get the confirmation from God about the promise He has made to us, we allow the rocks the enemy throws at us to cause us to quit before we even get started? Y'all, it's time to stand on business in our faith. Let's Get Into It!

Okay, so your girl had a breakthrough this week. It finally hit me why I continued to run into the same wall with people. The answer is simple, and you will be shocked when I tell you. I had no standards. I know, right? It's crazy. Something as simple as having standards can keep you in a toxic relationship with yourself and others until you do something about it. But, how many of you, my faithful listeners, are walking around without standards? Here's the thing: Christ is the standard for our lives, but how many of you know we should also invest in ourselves by developing standards for our personal lives? It's so much. Let's Get Into It!

When the Lord called Gideon, his call did not match his current situation. Many times when we go through challenges and trials they do not match the promises that God has spoken over our lives. It is the enemy's job to get us to doubt the promises of God. However, it is our job to remain steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord. Let's Get Into It!
