Trinity “The Tuck” Taylor steps Behind The Rope. We are not worthy. Checking in from her home in Orlando, Florida, Trinity stops by to chat about all that she has been up to since we last saw her on our TV screens on RuPaul’s Drag Race (Season 9, All Stars Season 4). Originally from a small town outside Birmingham, Alabama, Trinity entered a drag competition at a local bar when she found out you could win money. She entered and lost. Martyn Lawrence Bullard steps Behind The Rope. Martyn fills us in on what he has been up to since we last saw him on our TV Screens on Bravo's Million Dollar Decorators. By age twelve, he was using his allowance money to buy various objects at the local London flea market which he would later arrange and make look pretty. With dreams of becoming a movie star, prior to his design career, Martyn moved to sunny Los Angeles approximately thirty years ago. His first big break in design came from sitting next to Original Supermodel Cheryl Tiegs at a wedding. By the end of the wedding she had hired him to decorate her house and, from there, his design business started to take off. Martyn Lawrence Bullard Design was born. Martyn chats with us about his “Design Style” and his Design “Dos” and Dont’s”. Sean Kanan steps Behind The Rope. Let us start at the beginning. Sean moved to LA many years ago to pursue his dream of becoming an actor. His first big break came in 1989 when he was cast in The Karate Kid Part III. The following year he starred on the Fox television series “The Outsiders”. As brilliant a show as that was, it was cancelled way too soon which led to an audition for a little show known as General Hospital. Sean got the job to play the infamous A.J. Quartermaine and the rest is history. Sean is kind enough to entertain our many questions about his General Hospital Co-Stars Ricky Martin, Vanessa Marcil, and Antonio Sabato Jr. He also discusses some of his other “Soap Opera” friends such as Lisa Rinna and Eileen Davidson. Sean discusses the differences between being on General Hospital, The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless. He should know as he has had starring roles on them all. One of the roles he is most proud of is his current role in Studio City, a stellar Emmy Award Winning Amazon Prime Dramedy that he also created and spent many years trying to get off the ground. Fashion Icon Marc Bouwer steps Behind The Rope. Originally from Johannesburg, South Africa, Marc grew up in Cape Town the son of Jehovah's Witnesses, obsessed with animals. He decided to study fashion at a local college, entered a South African Vogue contest and won the Young Designers Award. This catapulted Marc to the top of South African fashion which eventually led to a move to NYC and an esteemed first job working for the legendary Halston. This job gave him the confidence and credentials to eventually start his own brand and voila, Marc Bouwer fashion was born. This led to his very first fashion show which led to a rave review in the New York Times which led to his first celebrity client, Morgan Fairchild. Marc has dressed them all and we are living for it. Marc tells us what it is like to work and socialize with with the likes of Beyonce, Rihanna, Whitney Houston and Shania Twain. He also talks about what it was like dressing Angelina Jolie for the Oscars and the benefits and challenges of dressing Celebrities for any awards show. Marc discusses his own style, the men and women he thinks are best and worst dressed in 2020 and what trends he likes and dislikes in the current state of fashion. We discuss how Jason got involved in the show, how that show, Laguna Beach, spun off into The Hills and how, overnight, he could no longer go to the gas station or mall or mailbox without being recognized. With fame, the issues he was already struggling with became exacerabted, and he quickly spiralled out of control. There were public arrests and intoxication which eventually lead to rock bottom. Jason shares what that was like and how he eventually sought the help he needed through Dr Drew and other available resources to eventually make this his “life’s work”. Jason answers all of our questions, once and for all, about what specific scenes, events and happenings in The Hills were real and which were not real.
