The Pac-12 All-Conference Honors are a joke, her's why

The Pac-12 Football All-Conference Honors were released Tuesday morning and it was a comical showing for how bad the Oregon football program was perceived by its fellow conference schools. The Ducks won the Pac-12 Conference Championship Game against Utah this past Friday after winning the Pac-12 North Division by four games over the closest opponent. The Ducks also fielded not only one of the best defenses in the Pac-12 but also in the entire country. I smell roses

Matt Prehm and Erik Skopil try and put into context how impressive Oregon's 37-15 victory over Utah was in the Pac-12 Championship Game. The Ducks dominated from start to finish against what was thought to be the league's best team in the No. 6 ranked Utes. The Ducks won the Pac-12 Championship for the third time in program history, and the first time since the 2014 season. The Ducks also won it's 12 conference title in school history in the process. The win clinches Oregon's eighth Rose Bowl Game apperance in program history. The Ducks 15.7 points allowed per game is the lowest in school history since the 1966 season, and the fewest in a season with at least 12 games dating back to 1988. The offense finished with 432 yards of total offense with 239 yards on the ground. Utah came into the game allowing just 241.6 yards per game and 56.2 yards on the ground per game. MVP and Oregon running back C.J. Verdell rushed for 208 yards and three touchdowns on just 18 carries. The 70-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter was the longest in the history of the Pac-12 Championship Game, and his three scores tied the game's most. His 208 yards were the second-most rushing yards behind Oregon running back LaMichael James' 219 against UCLA in the 2011 game. Mailbag Wednesday: How does the USC win change the perception of Oregon this year and in recruiting?

Another Autzen Audibles Mailbag Wednesday is here! Matt Prehm and Erik Skopil take the best questions from Oregon football, basketball, recruiting and a lot more. In this week's Mailbag, Matt and Erik answer questions that range in a wide group of topics but also include: While Oregon is on a run to the college football playoff, some fans are wondering if Florida State could come calling a second time in three years to hire a head coach. Are we buying at stock in Florida State - Mario Cristobal? The development of Juwan Johnson at wide receiver and why that could be a game-changer for the Oregon offense in the final three regular-season games. If we are going to be critical of Marcus Arroyo earlier in the season, it's also time to acknowledge that Oregon's offense is putting up insane numbers the last month of the season. What's stood out about it? If Oregon can make the college football playoff, who would Oregon want to play and what team presents the best chance at a win? Matt goes on a rant about why he's changed his tune about making the college playoff and losing vs playing in the Rose Bowl and winning.
