One of the greatest athletes to roll through the University of Oregon is three-sport star Jordan Kent. On Monday's Autzen Audibles Podcast, Matt and Jordan discuss all things Ducks and his career from start to now. Ahead of Senior Day, DuckTerritory.com sat down with four-year starting point guard and potential Pac-12 Player of the Year Payton Pritchard for a one-on-one interview podcast about his love for basketball, his career that almost didn't happen with the Ducks, what he's been most proud about during his four seasons at Oregon, and many more topics. Pritchard will leave Oregon as the school's all-time leader in career wins and assists and is on pace to set the record for steals. He is the only player in Pac-12 history to accumulate over 1,800 points, 600 rebounds, and 600 assists at the men's level of college basketball. In the podcast, Pritchard discusses his decision last year to test the NBA waters and then come back to school for his senior year. He talked about why he did that and if it's paid off for him. Pritchard is putting up career numbers across the board this season: points (20.2), assists (5.4), rebounds (4.3), field goal percentage (46.1), and minutes (36.6). Pritchard leads the conference in points and assists and would become just the fourth player in school history to do that. Gary Payton, Damon Stoudamire, and Jason Terry are the only three others. All three were consensus First-Team All-Americans and Payton and Terry were National Players of the Year. Pritchard will play against California Thursday night at Matthew Knight Arena for his second-to-last basketball game at home in his career. He'll have senior night against Stanford this weekend on Saturday night at 8 p.m. Oregon is currently half a game out of first place in the Pac-12 Standings and winning their final two games will guarantee at least a share of the conference title for his second time in his career. It was an important and critical weekend of college basketball for both the men's and women's basketball teams. The Oregon Duck football program got huge news Monday morning when juniors Jordon Scott, Austin Faolium, Thomas Graham, and Deommodore Lenoir announced they would all be returning to Oregon for their senior seasons and put off playing in the NFL for another year. "That's the best opening statement that you could ask for," said Oregon head coach Mario Cristobal following the players' announcements. "As a coach, very grateful for those guys, their commitment to not only the program, but to their own personal craft, I think when you make a decision like that, that as purpose-driven as their decision is, purpose-driven, in the sense from a personal standpoint, from a team standpoint, from a program standpoint, it speaks very loudly for them as people, them as competitors, them as teammates. The Oregon Ducks walked off the field victorious in the 106th Rose Bowl Game, which was played against No. 8 Wisconsin. The Ducks became the first team in Bow Season this year to win a Bowl Game by one point, making this game one of the most entertaining and competitive football games of the entire year. Oregon junior safety Brady Breeze forced a fumble and senior Bryson Young recovered it at the Wisconsin 30 yard line with less than eight minutes to play in the game. On the very next play, Oregon senior quarterback Justin Herbert ran for a 30-yard touchdown, his third of the game. The score proved to be the game-winning play for the Ducks.
