A tragic story in the world of chess, as 29-year-old Chess Grandmaster Daniel Naroditsky was found dead this week at his home in Charlotte. As of this recording, there is no official cause of death, but late this week police acknowledged they were investigating his death as a possible drug overdose/suicide. Meantime, much of the chess world is pointing fingers at 50-year-old former chess World Champion, Vladimir Kramnik who has viciously, repeatedly and baselessly accused Naroditsky of cheating over the years. Prince Andrew has relinquished his royal titles, he will no longer be called the Duke of York or His Royal Highness, but some believe the Royal Family and even the British Parliament should go further, formally stripping him of those honors. A bizarre story that keeps getting stranger.  Following his arrest at the border, “Family Matters” star, 49 year-old Darius McCrary says he was not trying to flee the country, instead he claims he accidentally went to Mexico and wait until you hear why. McCrary reportedly owes $95,000 in child support payments and missed his court hearing on the matter, prompting an arrest warrant. 19-year-old twins Naazir and Qaadir Lewis were found dead last spring on a remote Georgia mountain top. Police say it was a planned, double suicide, but their family isn’t buying it, claiming the teens would never harm one another or themselves. In a rare move, the Texas Court of Appeals has just halted the execution of 58-year-old Robert Roberson. Roberson was set to die by lethal injection October 16th and become the first person in this country executed for a shaken baby syndrome conviction after the death of his 2 year old daughter. The state of Texas is set to execute 58-year-old Robert Roberson next week, but his attorneys have filed a last minute request for a new trial based on a recent Dateline podcast. Roberson would be the first person to ever be put to death for shaken baby syndrome, following the 2002 death of his 2 year old daughter Nikki. The science he was convicted on is no longer regarded and is considered “junk science.”  That information alone brought lawmakers from both sides of the aisle to intervene last year, to stay his execution, but that stay is up and Roberson time is up. It’s a true crime headline that seems nearly impossible to believe, and yet, 31-year-old Brittany Fortinberry has been charged with 47 charges including 14 counts of sexual misconduct with a minor.  A 15-year-old boy came forward this past spring, and now 6 months later at least 10 underage boys have told similar accounts of being drugged, forced into sexual acts and threatened with violence. Despite begging the judge for mercy and a second chance at being a better father and son, Sean “Diddy” Combs will spend the next 3 years behind bars.
