A big part of the platform were conversations, community and support. Though the startup stopped growing once Aditya moved to Seattle, WA - it remained alive in the form of several discussion groups and online communities. Now, Diasporaa has been resurrected in the form of a podcast focused on uncovering and sharing interesting immigrant stories from the South Asian diaspora. It is available on YouTube, all major podcast platforms such as Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, etc. and is also broadcast as a radio show on Alternative Talk 1150 AM and 98.9 FM HD Channel 3 on Wednesdays from 2-3pm PST. About Aditya Mehta: Aditya is a Bombay boy who has lived in Austin, Los Angeles, Washington DC, and Vancouver before making it to his current home in Seattle. He has degrees in marketing, urban planning, real estate and strategy but has spent his career in financial services, social media and now real estate - mostly as an entrepreneur and partly as an employee at Amazon. He balances Indian, Canadian and American culture, loves helping those who are new to North America and looks forward to the interesting stories that his interview guests bring each week. When not podcasting, he is helping his wife Prachi build her pharmaceutical business or hanging out with his son Arjun. Made of More 01-07-25 Humanizing Business & Finding Your Conversion Audience with 1117 Studios

In this episode of Made of More, host Chris Erdmann sits down with Jackson Rezab, founder of 1117 Studios, to explore how video storytelling can move beyond transactional advertising to truly humanize a business and build trust. Transitioning from a background in competitive athletics and car sales, Jackson shares his unique "plan and execute" philosophy and explains why entrepreneurs should ignore vanity metrics like "internet trends" to focus on the "conversion audience" that actually drives revenue. The conversation also dives into the deep personal motivation behind 1117 Studios, revealing how tragic family losses inspired Jackson’s mission to ensure that the world's greatest stories regarding legacy and purpose never go untold. About the show: Made of More is a radio show / podcast that shares the powerful, personal stories behind the entrepreneurs of the greater Seattle area and beyond, individuals who have built meaningful businesses and experiences not just to better their own lives, but to positively impact their communities, families, and the world around them. This show isn’t just about what they’ve built – it’s also about who they are as people. We explore their journeys of inspiration, adversity, risk, and resilience. We dig into the pivotal moments, the challenges that shaped them, and the drive that pushed them to step outside the box and do something different. These are people who are made of more. And so are our listeners. Each episode is an invitation to connect more deeply; not only with the story, but with the mission behind each business. Whether it inspires you to chase a dream, break your own mold, or simply experience and support these ventures in a way that speaks to you, Made of More reminds us that greatness often begins with a story worth telling.

Mother’s Justice Show With Rev. Harriett Walden 01-05-26 Washington Coalition for Police Accountability

On this episode of the Mothers Justice Radio Show, guest host Chukundi Salisbury sits down with members of the Washington Coalition for Police Accountability for a powerful, unfiltered conversation about police violence, accountability, and the urgent need for systemic reform. The discussion centers on the killing of L.J. Causey, Jr.—a father of three—and exposes the stark gap between police de-escalation policies and real-world practice. Coalition leaders Elaine Simons and Sonia Joseph share deeply personal perspectives shaped by the loss of their own sons, while outlining concrete legislative priorities for the 2026 session, including independent prosecutors, Attorney General investigations, stronger standards for law-enforcement leadership, and limits on police tactics that erode public trust. This episode is both a tribute to lives lost and a call to action—highlighting how impacted families are leading statewide efforts to change policy, demand transparency, and protect future generations. If you care about justice, public safety, and accountability in Washington State, this is a conversation you need to hear in full.

Episode 104: “The Spice of Life - Designing a Year That Feels Alive” New Year’s Eve often comes with pressure: resolutions, reinvention, and unrealistic expectations. But what if the new year wasn’t about fixing yourself — and instead about cultivating excitement, curiosity, and aliveness? In this New Year’s Eve episode of Staying Power, JDK and Ashley explore how to shape the coming year from a grounded, emotionally integrated place. Drawing on neuroscience, psychology, and timeless wisdom, they unpack how excitement fuels sustainable change — and why small, daily commitments can transform how we experience an entire year. The Pet Recovery Center also works with reactive dogs. Some dogs are unable to stay in regular boarding facilities due to reactivity but Heather has a history of working with reactive pets and offers them a safe place to stay while their families are away. Talk Cosmos 12-28-25 2026! Be Your Best Medicine

Join host Sue Rose Minahan and Australian astrology guest Melissa Elvira Billington for a potent fireside chat: "2026 Be Your Best Medicine." 2026 dynamically cascades with the outer planets re-entering their new cycle for years ahead. In all actuality we haven’t quite experienced this epic series of outer planets moving into new signs collectively. Joey Ventura: Building Legacy Through Music, Mentorship & Meaning

In this episode of The Glen Gilbert Connection, we sit down with Joey Ventura, a man who has spent nearly 40 years in finance but argues that "emotional investments might just outperform your 401k". We dive into the unique challenges of dating after 60, from decoding the "ancient hieroglyphs" of emojis to navigating apps designed by 20-somethings. Joey opens up about his 35-year marriage, his return to the dating scene, and why holding onto his naivete and "Peter Pan" spirit has been essential for his happiness. He applies his professional expertise to relationships, explaining how to treat love like a portfolio by balancing "growth and income" to ensure long-term stability. Beyond the financial analogies, Joey shares profound wisdom on handling conflict and vulnerability. He details the "tennis match" strategy for diffusing arguments by refusing to return the "serve" of negativity, and discusses the fine line between being vulnerable and exposing a "chink in the armor" that can be used against you. We also explore the power of creativity as an emotional reset, why karaoke is the ultimate confidence builder for men, and why he advises his grandkids to find a partner who is "equally yoked" rather than just physically attractive. Staying Power 12-24-25 When Hope Helps - And When It Holds Us Back

Episode 103: “When Hope Helps — And When It Holds Us Back” It’s Christmas Eve — a night filled with symbolism, expectation, longing, and hope. But what is “hope” in real human terms? And how do we hold hope without drifting into passivity, denial, or waiting for someone else to rescue us? In this episode, JDK and Ashley gently explore hope’s emotional, spiritual, and psychological dimensions. They examine how hope can be a powerful motivator — and how, when misunderstood, it can keep us stuck, waiting, or disconnected from the present moment. Drawing on research from neuroscience, behavioral psychology, and meaning-based therapies, they reframe hope as an active, values-driven practice rather than a passive wish. With stories, reflection, and practical guidance, this Christmas Eve conversation invites listeners into a grounded, compassionate, and intentional way of bringing hope into each new day.

Made of More 12-24-25 Mindset Reprogramming & Networking with Chloe May Lamenzo

In this episode of Made of More, host Chris Erdman sits down with Chloe May Lamenzo, a former professional soccer player and co-founder of Golden Nova Agency, to discuss the intersection of personal growth and entrepreneurship. Chloe shares stories from her unique "hippie" upbringing and alternative education, explaining how she learned to separate her identity from her career and "reprogram" her mind to move from negative self-talk to an abundance mindset. The conversation dives into her strategies for business and connection, including her "sniper" approach to networking that focuses on observation and quality over quantity, as well as her passion for helping businesses achieve sustainability by adapting to rapid changes in technology and the economy. About the show: Made of More is a radio show / podcast that shares the powerful, personal stories behind the entrepreneurs of the greater Seattle area and beyond, individuals who have built meaningful businesses and experiences not just to better their own lives, but to positively impact their communities, families, and the world around them. LHMF 12-23-25 Pups Past and Present

The holidays can often bring out feelings of nostalgia, some sweet and some more melancholy. We often reminisce about some of those who have left us, while still appreciating what we do have. Today Marilyn spoke about the wonderful pets she has had throughout her life and how each one brought something different to the table and co-created their own “story”. And how the dogs she has now are doing what they do best—being themselves, showing love, and bringing smiles. The main thought—each animal we bring into our lives will bring us something unique and special if we just give it time to develop and grow. Wishing all peace, joy and love this holiday season! Wisdom From The Wardrobe 12-22-25 What We’re Wearing This Week

This week on Wisdom From The Wardrobe, the team kicks things off with Bec’s “In the News” segment, where one classic shoe staple officially takes a backseat. According to current fashion chatter, black pumps are now considered nearly unnoticeable, and the color quietly stepping into the spotlight this winter is white. From crisp bright white to soft ivory and ecru, the trend isn’t about matching tonally, but about pairing lighter footwear with darker, more grounded ensembles for contrast that feels fresh and modern. From there, the conversation turns to real life dressing during one of the busiest weeks of the year. What are we actually wearing right now when days stretch from morning errands to cooking, hosting, traveling, and socializing. How to balance comfort with looking intentional, and why it’s more than okay to opt out of over-styled expectations altogether. They also share their current wardrobe rotations, the hero pieces pulling extra weight this week, the shoes they’re living in, and the go-to formulas that make getting dressed easier when time and energy are in short supply. It’s a refreshingly honest look at style that works with your life, not against it. It’s a practical, honest conversation about seasonal style that works hard, feels good, and still looks pulled together, no costume changes required.

Wisdom From The Wardrobe 12-15-25 Low Effort, High Impact Holiday Décor Edition

On this episode of Wisdom From The Wardrobe, the team turns its attention from getting dressed to setting the scene. Bec kicks off the episode with an “In the News” segment that feels perfectly timed, spotlighting one of the biggest holiday decorating trends of the season: the return of the “Ralph Lauren Christmas.” Think cozy, traditional luxury with rich textures like velvet and wool, classic tartans, deep heritage colors, warm metals, and natural elements that feel collected rather than overdone. Best of all, it’s a look that can be recreated without a luxury budget. Inspired by this trend, the conversation moves into low-effort, high-impact ways to style your home for the holidays. From greenery placed with intention to simplifying surfaces, layering in texture with throws and pillows, choosing one signature seasonal scent, and letting lighting and candles do the heavy lifting, the team shares approachable ideas that make a home feel warm and welcoming without turning it into a winter wonderland. They also dive into easy upgrades for hosting, including table linens that elevate space instantly, modern neutral holiday palettes that stand the test of time, and a rapid-fire round of five-minute refreshes to pull everything together just before guests arrive. It’s a practical, stylish guide to holiday home styling that proves you don’t need more décor, just better decisions.

Wisdom From The Wardrobe 12-08-25 Festive Fits Without the Fuss

On this episode of Wisdom From The Wardrobe, Bec delivers the “In the News” with a story that proves fashion doesn’t always take itself too seriously. Enter the unexpected collaboration between BEIS and Chipotle: an eleven-piece luggage and accessories collection designed, apparently, to transport Chipotle to any destination effortlessly and chicly. From a napkin sling to a burrito-inspired crossbody and a full duffle bag, the team breaks down the buzz, the branding, and the growing appetite for playful fashion collaborations. From there, the conversation shifts to one of the most requested topics of the season: dressing for holiday gatherings. The stylists unpack what to wear for everything from ugly sweater invites and neighborhood get-togethers to office parties and more polished celebrations. Comfort is key, especially when non-breathable fabrics and long evenings are involved, but style doesn’t have to be sacrificed. The team shares what they’re seeing in stores right now, including plenty of sequins, cashmere, and velvet in every form. It’s a practical, timely guide to navigating holiday dressing with confidence, comfort, and just the right amount of festive flair.

Wisdom From The Wardrobe 12-01-25 Everyday Luxury, Wrapped and Ready

This episode of Wisdom From The Wardrobe, the team opens with Bec’s “In the News” segment, spotlighting Burberry’s latest marketing campaign, and its refreshingly relatable message: luxury lives in every moment. Featuring iconic British stars like Olivia Colman stepping into very ordinary roles, including working behind the counter at a classic fish and chips shop, the campaign reminds us that beautiful things are meant to be worn, used, and enjoyed, not saved for someday. Inspired by that philosophy, the conversation turns to stylish and thoughtful holiday gift ideas that strike the perfect balance between indulgence and practicality. From cozy indoor footwear and elegant gloves to sumptuous cashmere and chic travel accessories from Longchamp, the team shares pieces that feel special without feeling precious. These are gifts designed to elevate everyday life and actually get used. As always, the episode blends style insight with real-world wearability, offering a timely reminder that great style isn’t about waiting for the right moment, it’s about making the moment right.

Mothers Justice Show - Truth, Trauma, and the Power of Unfiltered Storytelling

In this powerful and deeply personal episode of the Mothers Justice Show, guest host Chukundi Salisbury Sr. sits down in studio with his brother, journalist and media founder Omari “Big O” Salisbury, for a wide-ranging conversation that moves seamlessly between legacy, accountability, and the urgent need for truth in public storytelling. The discussion traces the launch of The Big O Show and its place within the Converge Media ecosystem—but quickly turns to the unresolved trauma of the 2020 Seattle protests and the devastating case of Antonio Mays Jr., the 16-year-old who was killed in the CHOP. Omari recounts, in detail, his recent court testimony and the shocking revelation that he unknowingly captured Antonio on video days before his death—footage that challenges the City of Seattle’s long-standing narrative and raises profound questions about justice, memory, and whose voices are allowed to be heard. This episode is not performative, and it is not sanitized. It is a raw, principled conversation about grief, integrity, media responsibility, and what it means to stand on truth even when it comes at a cost. Grounded in family, community, and lived experience, this is an essential listen for anyone who wants to understand the real human stakes behind headlines, protests, and policy. Listen in full to hear the stories that were nearly erased—and why telling them still matters.

Talk Cosmos 12-21-25 New Vibrations - Winter Solstice

Jump into Talk Cosmos: "SOLSTICE – WINTER’S NEW VIBRATIONS" An insightful discussion on the Winter Solstice and the primary consciousness patterns resonating during the coming season. We'll use cutting-edge Vibrational Astrology (VA) techniques to unravel the messages of the Winter Solstice. This deep journey will reveal the predominant behavior patterns shaping our collective consciousness from December 21st through the New Year of 2026 and the subsequent three months. What is the Solstice? SOLSTICE literally means the ‘SUN STOPS.’ The Winter Solstice occurs on December 21st at 3:04 p.m. GMT (or 10:04 a.m. EST & 7:04 a.m. PST). This is the precise moment the Sun reaches the Tropic of Capricorn below the equator, marking its entry at zero-degree (0°) Capricorn. In the Northern Hemisphere, this moment signifies the shortest day and the longest night of the year. The Seed Chart: The Solstice chart is a powerful seed chart, unveiling profound themes that will resonate throughout the entire winter season. Since antiquity, the Solstice has been a profoundly spiritual connection to the Sun, Moon, and all of nature’s cycles. Through the unique lens of Vibrational Astrology, we will explore the intricate core patterns that shape our collective journey during this season—a time of deep gratitude for the light's return.
