Talk Cosmos 11-09-25 Planet Buzz - Jupiter Trine Saturn
Planet Buzz’s episode "JUPITER TRINE SATURN" shapeshifting new realms of consciousness within the collective unconsciousness. Jupiter and Saturn form a cultural alliance as their orbits connect every 20 years. The last was on Dec 21, 2020 at 0 degrees Aquarius. A pivotal point as Pluto ingressed Aquarius five times between 2023 and 2024. However, Jupiter and Saturn introduced a larger new cycle of the next 200 years of their conjunctions in air signs. This shift from the material earth orientation of practical form upsets social context entering the communicative connections of thought and relationships. However, we are approaching a few years of their energies flowing in a trine. We can anticipate focused visionary manifestation, especially since they are now in intuitive feeling, emotional water signs. Talk Cosmos Planet Buzz brings together Special Guests from around the USA and the world to discuss subjects concerning us all. Robert Pacitti of Pennsylvania joins host Sue Minahan of Kailua Kona. DAMTT- 11-06-25 American Psycho Demands Ice
In this episode of "Don't Ask Me to Talk," Stacy and Eric pull the thread on a variety of stories and musings, from the embarrassing (for Stacy) moment of pulling a hair off her male friend’s sweater only to realize it was still attached to his chest, to the should have been awkward moment of a waiter spilling Coke on Eric’s girlfriend’s sweater (he was deft so it was fine). This leads to a rabbit hole about how Europeans drink soda without ice (Stacy is NOT a fan), Eric's ice-chewing habit, the common practice of offering women in labor ice chips to chew on, and Eric training to be his mother’s Lamaze coach (he got out of it when literal push came to shove)! They share life updates, including Eric’s Halloween adventures (or lack thereof), in a medical mask and the sad closing of his go-to pharmacy Bartell (with no S). Tune in as they explore Cultural Blindspots and the shame associated with having them (sorry, not everyone has seen Rambo). In honor of spooky season Eric watches "Drag Me to Hell" and "American Psycho" while Stacy reflected on the tactile, but short joy of listening to full albums on a record player. For their topic of the week they discuss video games - the social aspect of gaming, and nostalgic memories of arcades and early video game consoles and Beatles Rock Band. It's a lively mix of stories, humor, and insights—perfect for those who love a good tease of everyday life. Wisdom From The Wardrobe 11-03-25 Americana Reboot & Wardrobe Woes Style Fixes and Fresh Takes
This week on Wisdom from the Wardrobe, we kick things off with a classic, but not in the way you’d expect. Bec brings us the latest trend watch: “Americana Reboot.” Think Rebel Without a Cause, but swap James Dean for James Clean. We're talking aged Levi’s, cowboy boots, and fresh-faced mustaches. It’s rugged vintage meets sterile chic; and not just on celebs, but in everyday style scenes you might not expect. Turns out, you can bring the wild west to the workplace, hold the dust. Then we're back at it with Part 2 of your most pressing wardrobe woes, because last week’s listener questions left us wanting more. First up: how do you make a shirt and tie combo look cool without resorting to a neck tattoo? We’ve got the layers, textures, and attitude to pull it off. Next, flannel shirts. Is it possible to wear them without looking like you time traveled straight from 1992 Seattle? Spoiler: yes, and we’ll tell you how. We also ironed out coat conundrums, how to bring skinny jeans back with confidence, and of course, more of your style SOS messages; answered with our signature mix of insight and irreverence. Keep it stylish! Let me know if you have questions. Have a great week and we will see you next Monday to do one live show and record one straight after (if that still works).

Staying Power 11-05-25 The Space Between My Truth and Yours
Episode 097: “The Space Between My Truth and Yours” Disagreement doesn’t have to mean disconnection. In an age of constant polarization, we’re quick to assume that difference equals danger — but it doesn’t have to. In this episode of Staying Power, JDK and Ashley explore how two people can both “be right” from their own lived experience, and still stay curious, compassionate, and connected. They unpack what psychology and neuroscience say about cognitive flexibility, emotional safety, and why the brain craves certainty even when it costs us closeness. Learn practical ways to hold space for “two truths” in your relationships — from partners and coworkers to friends and family — and why the capacity to do so might be one of the most important resilience skills of our time.

Wisdom From The Wardrobe 10-27-25 Sneakerinas & Style SOS Solving Your Wardrobe Woes
This week on Wisdom from the Wardrobe, we laced up (literally) with a brand-new trend; the “Sneakerina.” It’s the unexpected mashup of a sneaker and a ballet flat, proving you can plié and power-walk your way through fashion. We’re still debating whether you should wear them to dance class or brunch, but one thing’s for sure: they’re trying to make the balletcore trend street-chic. Then came the collective gasp, MTV has retired several of its music channels after 40 years. Goodbye MTV Music, MTV 80s, and so many style-driven moments from our youth. Naturally, that sparked a whole trip down memory lane for the team, complete with music video fashion flashbacks. With nostalgia behind us, we jumped into something just as iconic: your style questions. One listener wondered how to hang onto beloved wardrobe pieces after losing weight; don’t worry, we’ve got tailored solutions for that. Another was stuck in denim limbo, saying big pants feel too young but skinny jeans feel too dated, yes, we’ve found a stylish in-between. As always, no question’s too big, no wardrobe headache too small. This episode is packed with practical, fun, and confidence boosting style advice; just what your closet ordered. Happy Styling!

Talk Cosmos 11-02-25 Pluto Mythos with Jen Sachs
Join host Sue Rose Minahan and special guest Jen Sachs for a potent fireside chat: "PLUTO MYTHOS." Rather than simply an astrological discussion; it's an invitation to explore the profound, metamorphic journey the soul is often required to undergo to evolve. Pluto is the cosmic architect of endings and powerful new beginnings—the planet that demands we shed what no longer serves us to make way for the brilliant, undeniable new evolved experience. As the modern ruler of Scorpio, Pluto mythologically stands as the third brother to Neptune (the oceans) and Zeus/Jupiter (the heavens). He rules the underworld, where the deceased dwell and where treasures reside. (Mars remains the traditional ruler of Scorpio.) This conversation aligns perfectly with potent November 2025 transits. Mercury retrogrades back into Scorpio to join a four-planet stellium with the Sun, Moon, and Venus. Furthermore, the November 20th New Moon in Scorpio will form a grand water trine with Neptune in Pisces and Jupiter in Cancer. This is a powerful, collective invitation to drop within and shapeshift inner darkness into guiding light. Essentially Pluto signifies profound endings and powerful new beginnings that accelerate our evolutionary journey. Expect a spontaneous and thought-provoking collaborative discussion that will illuminate these potent moments of transition! Joining Talk Cosmos founder and eclectic evolutionary astrologer Sue Rose Minahan of Kailua Kona, Hawai’i will be special guest Jen Sachs, of Seattle, WA. Speaker bios are listed below and on the Talk Cosmos website. Stay connected and subscribe today at TalkCosmos.com to access all new episodes across YouTube, Facebook, radio, and podcasts." JEN SACHS: is a certified astrologer (AFA) and tarot reader (Biddy Tarot) with over 20 years of experience. Her work blends cosmic insight with lived wisdom, shaped by a lifelong quest for understanding and a late-in-life diagnosis of autism and ADHD at 38 - this unique perspective deepens her connection with astrology. She channels her lived experiences and continued studies to help others rebuild their narratives with self-compassion and strong, supportive boundaries. Her approach is intuitive, empowering, and unapologetically real. Episode 096: “Letting People Be Themselves (Without Losing Yourself)” Why is it so hard to stop trying to “fix” or “improve” other people — even when we know it rarely works? Whether it’s a partner, co-worker, or family member, most of us try to shape others to meet our comfort zones, beliefs, or needs for control. In this episode of Staying Power, JDK and Ashley unpack the deep human drive behind this habit — from nervous system survival patterns to attachment conditioning — and explore how we can build healthier, more authentic connections through acceptance and self-awareness. Learn how to recognize manipulation (even subtle, well-intended kinds), set compassionate boundaries, and shift your focus from control to connection through both mindset and somatic tools.

Talk Cosmos 10-26-25 Kaleidoscope Visions - MOON PHASES - Fingers of Fate
Kaleidoscope Visions panel presents this month’s “MOON PHASES-Fingers of Fate”. This pattern coordinates continual adjustments as a cardinal new moon moves into fixed archetypal moon phases. The Finger of Fate pattern (YOD) requires adjusting between its energetic dynamics without any easy resolution. The quincunx of 150° aspect requires recalibration causing a constant, dynamic tension. Essentially, an internal ‘push-pull’ as we ‘lean into’ experiencing one energy to the other. Seeking to coordinate their cosmic reflection into our life. Potentially this month involves a process of adjusting to create a new path of perspectives with our ego, our emotions, our values, and thinking. Opening the four moon phases begins with the New Moon at 28 degrees Libra. It heralds the start of a six-month pattern of new moons at 28 degrees of archetypal fulfilment. Libra involves a desire to balance between extremes presented by any polarity. Here, looking at the values to heal from toxicity. Following phases all in fixed signs will be the first quarter moon on Oct 29 at 6°30 Aquarius, the Full Moon on Nov 5 at 13°22’ Taurus, and third quarter moon on Nov 12 at 20°04’ Leo. The moon's our personal planet regulating the past coming into the present. Weekly the moon systematic monthly cycle transitions from the New Moon to first quarter, Full Moon, and third quarter moon phases. Daily moving 12-13 degrees, the moon moves through a Zodiac sign in two & a half days. Joining Sue Rose Minahan from Kailua-Kona, Big Island, Hawai’i are Kaleidoscope Visions panel members, Amanda Pierce, and John Chinworth of Seattle. DAMTT 10-24-25 European Vacation
The gang is back together again, although not in studio so the sound may be different in this episode. Eric is just back from his European vacation and Stacy is on the eve of leaving for her trip to Italy. For the first half of the show, Stacy peppers Eric with questions about his trip – “the roses” or highlights and “the thorns” or struggles. Unsurprisingly the biggest thorn was the stress of wondering whether the apartment Eric booked in Paris would let him in as he had no communication prior to his arrival. While it all worked out in the end (thanks to the ‘Frenchies,” the process was a thorn in Eric’s side. However, the roses were in full bloom as he and the girlfriend got to visit some new and old favorite places. Eric also got to see some of his all-time favorite bands/musicians while traveling – from the Woodentops and Noel Burke to Edwyn Collins (on his farewell tour) and The Divine Comedy. For the second half of the show, Eric and Stacy shared that they both checked off another Cultural Blindspot; for Eric, The Fugitive and for Stacy, Citizen Kane. They agreed the former was enjoyable if farfetched while the latter was “meh” making its’ reputation as one of the greatest films made all that much more perplexing. In the end they barely touch on the topic of the week, so next week’s episode topic is TBD. Tune in for relatable laughs and pop culture tangents.
