This week, Pastor Allen welcomes his friend John DeBerry back to the studio for a conversation about the recent Covenant School shooting in Nashville, the recent protests at the capitol in Nashville, and how we can lead with our faith in the current state of politics in our nation. Do you really believe the world is going to come to an end, or is that an idea preachers talk about just to manipulate us? In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses the biblical evidence for the end of time, and what that means to our lives today. No one knows exactly when the end of time will come, but as we see prophecies being fulfilled around us, we need to prepare. Let's live in such a way that the generations that follow us will experience the blessings of God. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses cultivating the kind of faith that impacts those around us. This type of faith requires courage, vision, and listening to God as we follow Him in a determined way. Significance is birthed out of sacrifice and choosing to say "Yes" to the Lord will lead to the greatest opportunities of our lives. It's not only okay to wrestle with God, it's a part of the journey when you're growing in your faith. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson offers examples of people who wrestled with God over various assignments and decisions. When the Lord is moving and calling us to be a part of His plans, it's normal to feel resistance—we have to wrestle with God in prayer, bringing Him our fears, uncertainties, and doubts, so we can align our hearts with His purposes. Does it make any difference in eternity whether you serve God with intention, or if you're ambivalent about your faith? In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses what the Bible says about eternal rewards. Our salvation is a gift from God, and there is nothing we can do to earn it—but Christ-followers will also be asked to give an accounting of our lives. Rewards in eternity will come from how we honor the Lord with our time, talents, resources, and choices today. Don't make God shout at you—cultivate the practice of obeying Him right away. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson illustrates this principle by discussing Jonah's life and his responses to God. The same grace that gave Jonah a second chance will give you and I the opportunity to be courageous in places where we previously displayed cowardice. Pastor Allen also offers three expectations we need to embrace so we can be courageous and have the faith of an overcomer.

We need invitations to walk in the fullness of the Spirit, the fruit of the Spirit, and the freedom of the Spirit. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson offers these invitations and discusses why it's important to cultivate and pursue spiritual things. He explores several passages from the gospel of John, showing how the apostle invites readers to believe in Jesus and the spiritual realm. Once we are born again and receive salvation, we need to increasingly learn what it means to walk as disciples and servants of God, allowing the Holy Spirit to equip us to accomplish His purposes in our generation. Baptism in the Holy Spirit is an experience that's available to us after salvation, empowering us for ministry. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses Spirit baptism and the power it can bring into a Christ-follower's life. He addresses common questions and concerns about baptism in the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues, and offers insight on how it equips us for our God-assignments. The apostles were baptized by the Holy Spirit on Pentecost, and Jesus continues to offer this transformative gift to believers today.

As demonic activity increases, we need to understand and cooperate with the Holy Spirit in ways we haven't known before. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses the reality of the spiritual realm using the Book of Revelation. As the apostle John is invited into the throne room of God, Pastor Allen explores what is happening there. What did John see? What does the throne room like? How does that impact our understanding of the spiritual realm? Instead of exploring the symbolism of the book, Pastor Allen examines the overarching realities and principles it presents, helping us to better understand the spiritual world and our role in it. Even though our culture behaves like nothing is sacred or holy, God has not redefined His standards. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses seven biblical principles that used to be held as sacred in our society: marriage, the protection of children, truth, faithfulness, justice, free speech, and the authority of Scripture. Today, these are no longer revered, but are actively mocked and deconstructed. As Christ-followers, we are called to live with a sense of the sacred and the holiness of God, and as we use our lives to uphold these values, we influence our culture. There are things God will not do unless we invite Him into our circumstances through prayer. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses the importance of prayer and the many forms it can take. You can offer prayers on your own, with another person, or in a large gathering, and they don't need to be complicated or formal. The Bible attaches tremendous significance to prayer, and Pastor Allen offers several practical ways we can make prayer a part of our daily lives. We desperately need a breakthrough in our hearts, our homes, and beyond. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses Elijah, who was frequently placed in situations that required the Lord's direct intervention. As Elijah faced enormous adversity and resistance, God showed Himself to be faithful, time and time again. His story can encourage us in the challenges we face today, and Pastor Allen offers insight that can help us break through the spiritual barriers we experience. God is looking for people who will stand up for His Truth in our generation, and if we are willing to yield to Him, He will impact the world through our lives. Unforgiveness is a luxury we simply cannot afford. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson offers compelling reasons why we want to be forgiving people. He discusses the ground rules for forgiveness, the process of being forgiven and extending forgiveness, and the healing that comes when we choose to make forgiveness a part of our daily lives. Forgiveness is a choice, not an emotion, and when we choose to follow God's plan, we will discover new freedom.

Is there a point where the Lord will no longer offer forgiveness? In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson explores passages from the Old and New Testament to help us answer this question. We don't want to live in such a way that God uses His judgement to maintain the integrity of His justice. Pastor Allen also discusses the sacrament of marriage and how our perspective on it has changed in recent decades. Our nation was formed on biblical principles, and as we drift further away from God's Truth and toward paganism, we move closer toward God's judgement. What's the difference between transformational faith and transactional faith? In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses each approach, and shows us why we should pursue a faith that continually transforms us from the inside out. We need an encounter with Jesus, and taking the posture of a learner will help us approach the gospel in a new way so it can speak personally into our lives. Pastor Allen highlights four powerful invitations Jesus offers each of us—if we accept and follow them, we can find new freedom.

Will we give into anxiety and fear, or choose to walk in the triumph that is ours in Christ? In this sermon, Pastor Allen discusses the power of pushing back on fear by giving thanks, then highlights a passage from 2 Kings, chapter 7, where God delivers the Israelites from the Arameans by using unlikely people: four men with leprosy. For the Lord to intervene on our behalf, we'll have to: Acknowledge we have needs only God can resolve; Trust God's timing; Expect discouraging people, as well as help from unlikely candidates; Trust that God's help will come—often in an unexpected way—as we move forward.
